A very rich, thick moisturizer without scent and non-irritating: I love it!

I have crazy sensitive skin prone to dermatitis, hives, itchies of all kinds. It's also very dry. I have to moisturize every inch of myself after a shower--from hairline to tips of toes.Since they seem to be discontinuing my longtime moisturizer by Lubriderm (seriously sensitive), I decided to give Eucerin a shot. It's excellent and I'm adding it to my anti-skin-woes arsenal. This really is rich. A very thick cream. Unless your skin is moist from a bath or shower, prepare to have to do a little muscular rubbing to spread it. However, after your shower or bath, when you've patted dry, but are still moist--this is perfect and smooths on richly but easily. Thick enough that a little goes a long way. Very moisturizing, even for my super dry heels.I like that it has no scent, not just because it's less irritating that way (as many have allergies to scent/perfume), but it allows your own choice of perfume to shine and not be interefered with by a lotion's... 5/5 Mir (North Miami Beach, FL USA) - See all my reviews, November 12, 2008

    Controls my Rosacea very well

I have rosacea which causes redness, itching and flaking on my nose, cheeks and chin. My doctor prescribed Metrogel. It controlled the rosacea, but it is a topical antibiotic, can have some serious side effects and is quite expensive. So, I asked my pharmacist what over-the-counter creams or lotions may be effective for treating skin irritations. He recommended Eucerin Calming Cream so I bought some to try and it is working wonderfully. I apply it twice daily and it controls the rosacea so well that my skin looks and feels normal. Try it. 5/5 Bud Kine (Idaho) - See all my reviews This review is from: Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Calming Creme, 14 Ounce Tubes (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty) I have rosacea which causes redness, itching and flaking on my nose, cheeks and chin. Excellent moisturizer for the dry and ashy

My skin is dry and ashy, especially in the winter. I like this lotion because it is thick enough to be effective but is still spreadable (unlike the standard Eucerin cream, which I find harder to apply than ultra-thick vaseline!) It's on the higher end of the drugstore lotion brands, but not by too much. I try other brands, but I always come back to Eucerin calming creme. 4/5 A. Amazing Creamy Cream

I bought this beautiful skin care product from Sams. I totally love it.it smells heavenly . It smells so natural and my skin just loves it. I have small marks on my hands. But after applying this cream they slowly started to fade . My skin is looking bright now. This is so creamy , a little goes a long way. So a bottle should last atleast 5 months. I highly recommend this product to others . It is almost half the price ( online price ) in Sams. Though it has some GREAT ingredients, it also has some very bad ones

I found it suspect that the full list of ingredients is not listed openly on Amazon. After doing a bit of research I found them, and while this moisturizer has many excellent ingredients, it also contains many pretty scary ones, which I would never use; here is the complete list:ingredients: distilled water, safflower oil, glyceryl stearate and PEG-100 stearate, tocopheryl (vitamin E), sesame oil, isopropyl palmitate, mango seed oil, shea nut butter, collagen, stearic acid, ceteareth-20, sweet almond oil, macademia nut oil, cetyl alcohol, brazil nut oil, panthenol, octyldodecanol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, propylene glycol, vitamin A palmitate with vitamin D3, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), triethanolamine, sorbitan stearate, pure plant essences known as essential oils (fragrance), methylparaben, phenoxyethanol, propylparaben, allantoin, butylparaben, pemulen, annatto, and caramelSome of the ingredients I would never use are: methylparaben, phenoxyethanol,... 1/5 PepInMyStep (Boston, MA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Genes Vitamin E Creme Swiss Collagen Complex Moisturizing Creme for Dry and Sensitive Skin 16 oz (Misc.) Love this cream

I had two patches of skin cancer removed from my face about 7 years ago. Since then the two areas have been dry and rough. I have tried many different types of sking creams to soften the skin and nothing worked. I recently bought Gene's Vitamin E skin cream and it has helped a great deal. I have only been using it about two weeks and the two dry rough spots are much better. One spot is gone and the other is about 75% better. I have also started using it on other areas of my body and my skin is much softer. This is the best cream I have purchased for dry skin. 5/5 Candace L. The best for busy hands

I cannot begin to tell you how well this stuff works. This is the second winter I'm using it now and my hands are much better than they've been. The skin hasn't chapped, no bleeding from the knuckles or the cuticles.I wash my hands over 50 times in 8 hours... with antibacterial soap and by mid november they're torn up, no matter what I've used. One of my fellow co-workers brought some of this in and I could immediately feel relief. So... I ordered a supply for myself.I highly highly recommend this to anyone who suffers with dry skin. It actually does what they say it will do! 5/5 Kevin Stanton "stanke36" (Pittsburgh) - See all my reviews, March 23, 2008

    Great Lotion!

Do you have dry skin? If so this just might be the lotion for you. It is very light, non greasy, and dries quickly. I've discovered that with daily use the difference is quite noticeable. It doesn't have a fragrance so if you are sensitive to lotions that do this is a nice alternative. 5/5 K. French "casey1294" - See all my reviews, January 10, 2010

    This lotion definitely works.

This past winter I developed extremely dry skin, so dry that the skin on my abdomen was flaking so bad. I tried baby oil right after a shower and put regular lotion on. By the end of the day my skin was still flaking. I was at a local b&m store this past weekend and they were handing samples out, I tried it on my hands and decided to buy a bottle. Like normal I showered, dried off and put the curel on. At the end of the day I looked at my abdomen and no flaking skin, it was nice and smooth! The same with my legs and hands! Curel has won me over, hopefully I can get my s.o. to use these on his crust buckets. 5/5 A. E. Crumby - See all my reviews, February 2, 2012

    Udderly Smooth Is Utterly Wonderful

Upon reading the directions of this super duper moisturizer, you may think you are in the health and beauty supplies by mistake. The directions will tell you how to apply to cow's udders for cracked teats and after calving. But once you open it and get a whiff of the summer day like freshness and rub a little into your hands, the cows will have to wait, you'll want it all for yourself."Udderly Smooth" is a wonderful skin softener, and hydrater. It is luxuriant feeling, smells like sunshine, absorbs nicely and is long lasting.Just a little goes a long way, and it's greaseless and non-staining. I found it gentle enough for my face in daytime, under make-up, as well as my hands, feet, and any dry areas. It works well for extra dry, cracked feet and leaves skin with a soft and supple feeling.I found this at Trader Joe's(they always have the good stuff!).I also see this available here in a 10 oz. jar with a... 5/5 L. Udderly Surprising!

I first found this "Udderly Smooth Udder Cream" sitting on a sundries shelf in my local Trader Joe's Grocery Store. Out of curiosity, I picked it up and read the instructions. They explained about how to clean the udder, apply the cream and treat teat problems. What is this? And what is it doing in Trader Joe's? I just had to buy a jar to find out. Well, there was nothing on the package to indicate what humans might do with it, so I just had to improvise.First, it seemed to work well anywhere a good lotion might apply. It makes an excellent hand cream, for example. It's one of the best I've ever found. My fiancée suggested that I rub her feet with it and she loved it. What next? Well, I read an account of a fellow who shaved with it, so I just had to try that too. It worked quite well. I doubt that it will displace my regular shaving cream, but if I ever run out I know exactly where to go in such an emergency. Another person suggested it was a good after-shave... 5/5 Gary Peterson (San Diego, California USA) - See all my reviews, December 24, 2007

    Actually Works!!!!!

I suppose I am like every woman, I like face cream. The problem is it's very hard to find one that actually works. I have to say this one does a great job. First off it is not greasy and it does not sit on top of the skin like some that I have tried. I hate when a lotion does not rub in but stays there all gooky and looking at you. Yuck! Anyway, this also helps very much with dry skin. I actually saw a difference in about a week. Okay, nothing will make my skin look like a 20 year old again, but at least it didn't look like a chicken. I like this product, give it a try. 5/5 Shirley Priscilla Johnson "Author/Reviewer -... No more chapped and cracked hands

Working as a nurse required frequent handwashing and my hands suffered especially in cold weather months. After trying every other product avaiable I usually resorted to using petroleum jelly and covering with moisture gloves at bedtime. Well that quit working and I was really suffering with open cracked hands. I decided to try this avon cream since I have used their products in the past. This is absolutely the most amazing cream. I noticed a difference the very first night! You dont have to spend a fortune on hand creams to have one that works. 5/5 Julie Lowther - See all my reviews, January 10, 2011

    Perfect for dry winter skin.

This cream is perfect for dry skin. It is unscented, smooth, disappears into the skin without greasiness and relieves winter "dry skin itch" instantly. It can be used anywhere on the body, I've found, and applied before bedtime it keeps moisturizing all night - and no stains on linens. A little bit goes a long way, so the jar lasts for some time. Much better and less expensive than other creams and lotions I've tried. 5/5 J Quinlan (Virginia) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) In my youth was a face model and had used everything from La Prarie, Stendal, Erno Laszlo through Estee Lauder, Lancome, etc, and have never, ever seen such a difference in my skin as with Philosophy product. Smells like hell

I am all for "natural" products... without any unnecessary additives, but philosophy made a mistake on this one. It is almost unbearable to me! It smells so metallic and harsh. Once upon my face, I have to keep smelling it for at least an hour...(Until either the smell wears off or I become accustomed to it)My husband hated it too, especially the smell. And honestly, it was no better than the 5 dollar creams you can buy at any drug store. NOT a miracle lotion... not really anything but hype. 2/5 M. The Real Deal

After seeing the ad for O'Keeffe's hands cream on a page in Popular Mechanics, I initially thought the promise of fast healing for cracked fingers too fantatastic to be true. I dedided to take a chance anyway and after a fruitless search for it in local stores placed my order with Amazon. Mrs. Spudman had tried multiple products for her painfully cracked fingertips so we thought 7 dollars was a worthwhile gamble. With some misgivings but no trepidation, Mrs. Spudman began using the new hand cream. We both did a visual inspection of her fingertips before beginning this trial so we could compare the effects (if any) of using the O'Keeffe's. After our finger inspection and evaluation of the width and depth of the cracks, Mrs. Spudman began using O'Keeffe's on her hands following the product directions.Just so I could get into the act, I decided to experiment with the O'Keeffe's also on some painful cracks on the heels of my feet. Yes, I know this is a hand... 5/5 Spudman (Pasadena, MD United States) - See all my reviews, March 1, 2011

    It actually works!

This stuff rubs into your hands and takes just a few seconds to be all absorbed. It does feel a bit different than other creams; it took me a couple of applications to get used to that. At work I need to wash my hands with disinfectant soap several times an hour. My fingers get cracks and my skin gets horribly dried out. By applying the Working Hands morning, a couple times a day and at night before bed, the cracks were gone in a couple of days. I tried this product for about 2 months and it just wasn't creamy enough for my super dry, flaky skin. So I gave the jar to my younger sister who has pretty skin for her age, but not as bad as mine. I came home after about 2 months of her using it, and omg...... Great For Sensitive Dry Skin -- And Hands Too!

I have had oily skin my entire life but now, in the sixth month of my second pregnancy, I am experiencing very dry patches of skin on my forehead and my upper cheeks on either side of my nose. I tried ignoring it, but it just got worse and worse and my skin began to crack and flake. It was especially visible when I put on my makeup. So I began to try to not wear makeup as much, but have very pale skin and need some extra help so as not to look sickly.I found this at Wal-Mart and immediately put a little dab on my forehead (no makeup that day): no burning, it penetrated my skin, felt silky and dewy -- but not greasy -- and I could see and feel the difference right away. My dry skin was much less visible, stopped itching and looked and felt almost normal. And it was only $4 for a big tub! It even works on my dry, chapped hands that have been ravaged from dish-washing and constant hand-sanitizer use -- and it doesn't make my hands feel "dirty", just soft.I tried... 5/5 WordGirl - See all my reviews This review is from: Pond's The Caring Classic Dry Skin Cream, 10.1 oz (286 g) (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty) I have had oily skin my entire life but now, in the sixth month of my second pregnancy, I am experiencing very dry patches of skin on my forehead and my upper cheeks on either side of my nose. Don't stray from the classic

I've been trying to figure out a good way to prevent my dry skin for a while. It seemed like everything either broke me out or looked like a greasy mess on my face. I'd passed Ponds up in the cosmetics aisles for years because that's what my mother used and thought surely something new and innovative had been made since then. It hasn't. Ponds is still the best, it doesn't look or feel greasy and makes my skin noticeably more moist. The extra hydration has also seemed to prevent some of the breakouts I had a lot of before using it. 5/5 Tate - See all my reviews, August 7, 2009

    This is the stuff!

I'm hesitant to use lotion. A lot of lotions make my dry skin worse (burning, etc.), so I often just wait for the dryness to go away on its own and just live with dry skin, altering my diet and lifestyle to affect change instead. This time I had a patch of dry skin on my lower leg that just would not go away.I don't like using chemical anything. I don't like additives and I frequent the Environmental Working Group's (Cosmetic Database) website to investigate the safety of most anything that's made in a factory. I would rather use something natural and organic than anything else.I actually learned how to make homemade balm and tried that first. It's surprisingly simple...just warm up about a cup of organic olive oil (or one of your choosing, they all have various benefits) with about a quarter cup of slivered/chipped organic beeswax (available of Amazon) and melt them together until clear. Pour into containers (glass, if you have it) and allow to cool... 5/5 Emcee Hamner (United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: ShiKai Lotion, Dry Skin Therapy, Borage, 8-Ounces (Misc.) BEST MOISTURIZER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I may have some issues about moisturizers...I use them multiple times throughout the day. I have moisturizer bottles stashed everywhere. I cannot stand dry skin (see, I told you I have issues...). After trying pretty much every brand out there, I can honestly say that this is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It is not greasy. It smells great. And the most important part: It keeps your skin incredibly moisturized. Buy this product!!! 5/5 Chaka Khan (Midwest, USA) - See all my reviews Okay, I may have some issues about moisturizers...I use them multiple times throughout the day.
