  "Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion" was recommended to me by my Doctor. My skin was so dry this year, that I was using lotions like crazy. I tried so many of them, and within hours I had to reapply. I was always feeling greasy after application. It was like I was oiling up to swim the English Channel or something.So I gave this one a try. One more to add to the list. The difference was this one actually worked! It says it moisturizes for 24 hours (yeah right!, I thought), and it does. It absorbs quickly, and left my skin feeling much smoother. One tip my Doctor gave me, that I'll pass along is to just barely pat dry after showering, and apply the lotion while still a little wet.   I too was utterly fed up with the claims of expensive lotions and their producers, making false and misleading statements about their "amazing" moisturising abilites. Some of these lotions worked well enough at the moisture bit but at the cost of making you feel like an butter basted chicken most of the day!I approached the 24 hour effect/ non-pore clogging claims of Aveeno with scepticism. I was very surprised and for once, entirely satisfied with the purchase. It is lovely. It works, it has a pleasant and subtle aroma. Reminded me of very mild, wheatgerm shampoo my Mother swore by in the 70's. Moreover it has excellent healing properties, I had not realised that oats have long been recognised as a major skin healer; even helpful for chronic skin conditions like psoriasis.LShirley is absolutley right and the post showering tip is excellent.   The only lotion that I am NOT allergic to!

  Due to having had cancer and have gone through chemo I now react to any type of perfume or dye out there. I really truly do. I have tried everything under the sun until I found plain old Aveeno. I can't even use the Lavender Aveeno but that is ok. This is just as good. My skin stays soft and supple for days. I no longer get rashes from my medications or from too much sun exposure.   Okay, I may have some issues about moisturizers...I use them multiple times throughout the day. I have moisturizer bottles stashed everywhere.   I've been using Alba Botanica Lotion for years, professionally and personally. My clients loved the fact that it was truly unscented and felt clean on their skin. They appreciated the fact that they didn't feel greasy, sticky or waxy, or had even a small hint of any kind of scent upon their return to work, or the rest of their day.I was extremely disappointed to find out that the new & improved formula had not changed for the better.   I'm a fan of Alba products and think their lotion is great. It goes on smooth and is easily absorbed into the skin with no sticky, oily residue. A note on shipping: the packaging consisted of a piece of tape placed on the cap. In the process of shipping the cap came loose and lotion got on my other items.   I was in a store in Langly, Wa. and tried this on. I fell in love with the smell first. I have a sensitive nose and thought I smelled like a Pez! I made everyone smell me and they agreed, it smells wonderful! I love the way it feels on my skin, it sinks into your skin real quick and my skin is immediatly softer. I am a lotion fanatic and use lotion at least 6-9x a day at work due to many bathroom visits.   Best I've used.....

  I was in Chattanooga, TN a couple of month ago & picked up a tube of this after sampling it. This is the best hand lotion I have ever found. I tend to have very dry hands and most products don't last that long, but Naked Bee keeps my hands feeling soft & silky. The tube I purchased is now gone, so I was very happy to see it on Amazon-this time I bought a much bigger bottle. I love the smell & the fact that it is made in Tennessee makes me feel great about supporting an AMERICAN company.   Do you have dry skin? If so this just might be the lotion for you. It is very light, non greasy, and dries quickly. I've discovered that with daily use the difference is quite noticeable.   This past winter I developed extremely dry skin, so dry that the skin on my abdomen was flaking so bad. I tried baby oil right after a shower and put regular lotion on. By the end of the day my skin was still flaking. I was at a local b&m store this past weekend and they were handing samples out, I tried it on my hands and decided to buy a bottle. Like normal I showered, dried off and put the curel on. At the end of the day I looked at my abdomen and no flaking skin, it was nice and smooth! The same with my legs and hands! Her skin gets dry and sometimes ashy during the winter. This stuff is perfect for her. It has never irritated her skin and leaves it soft and smooth.   I absolutely love the smell of this lotion, but as far as moisturizing... it doesn't really absorb into the skin that well.   No "Plump" With This Pump

  Wellll - normally I am the first to lead the bandwagon on Oil of Olay Products. And I still will, when it comes to facial moisturizers, but I'm sorry to say that this "firming reviver" body lotion, simply did not have the results promised.It was fairly good as a lotion for dry skin, but after using the 13.5 oz bottle, daily and as directed(paying special attention to areas prone to loss of firmness) I saw no, zip, zero results on that claim.I strayed from my favorite dry skin lotion:, because of the advertisement saying that results would be seen in as little as 3 weeks.   Better than Aveeno!

  I read a review online saying that this was a very good body lotion compared to other brand name lotions, so I thought I'd give it a try since I'd just run out of the lotion I kept at home. But I just couldn't find it anywhere! I searched it online and amazon was selling it at a good price for two, so I bought it. I'm so glad I did because I love this lotion! It is, in my opinion, way better than Aveeno body lotion. I've been using Olay Quench Plus Firming Body Lotion for a couple of days now and I can't get enough of how soft and moisturized it makes my skin. Also, it adds a nice sparkle to my skin, very subtle but still noticeable. It has a slight fragrance, but not unpleasant, and it isn't oily or make my skin sticky like Aveeno does.   I have a confession...

  I love to go barefoot! The moment I enter my humble abode, or anywhere else where bare-feet are tolerated, off come the shoes. It's a little rebellion, I think, from all the wear and tear my feet and legs have had to endure as an RN. Those little pinkies just scream to be free from the confinement of those, very necessary, athletic shoes.Going barefoot has its bad side, though. My feet become very dry and calloused (yep, I can walk on rocks and acorns without flinching), and my heels are prone to cracking. Not a pretty sight!   The secret is oatmeal

  The Colloidal Oatmeal in the Aveeno Products is the reason I keep buying them, even if I'm not overly excited about smoothing petrolatum over my skin.I wish these products were all natural. I have noticed the oatmeal has a calming effect on my skin and the addition of Lavender, Chamomile and Ylang-Ylang is emotionally healing.The minute you put this cream on your skin, you can feel the difference.   Bought this one after a long time research on body lotions. Finally get this one with no parabens(threw away my old lotions because of this). The smell is so good, not so strong and comfort enough. It does a good job moisturizing my dry skins and is non-sticky...   Never saw this before a business trip to Phoenix - grabbed the hotel sample bottle on the way to the office first morning and fell in love with it. Got back home and - wham! No one near me carries it. I was heartbroken.... but Amazon saved the day! Why would I hunt this down? I have sensitive overly dry skin that literally cracks open. This soothes it and lasts for hours, bringing just a light touch of sesame oil - enough to hydrate, but not enough to leave that oily feeling. Minimal if any fragrance. Just better than anything else I have tried. I am a convert - I have a pump at the office, one in the bedroom, one in the kitchen (and one in the linen closet to fill that little sample bottle to keep with me on the plane!). 5/5 Karen H.   I reviewed this product on this site a couple years ago and felt compelled to continue tell your audience that this product is 1st RATE! I buy this great product on a continuous basis and I believe everyone who hasn't, to at least try it!
