  Great home product

  This unit works really well, it's very straightforward and simple to use. The little paper filters fit behind the tips in the hand-piece and that is all that needs to be changed from time to time. The diamond tips are of great quality. I clean them with my mini ultrasonic machine I sue to clean jewelry and boil the tips to sterilize them. My unit didn't work initially because it was still cold from being outside in the box when I first turned in on. The company responded quickly when I contacted them about it and new right away that I hadn't allowed the motor to warm up at room temperature (must be a common issue)and I've had no further problem once I allowed time for it to warm up before firing it up. The manual could be better as it covers every type of model they make so you really have to look through it all to get the info you need. I went online to learn more about the technique of performing micro-dermabrasion.   Love this machine!

  Have used this 4 times now since it was delivered and have seen great results. It does what it says it does for your skin. My daughter even noticed the difference. I'm 44 and don't have that "glow" any more like in my youth. This helps bring it back. It gets rid of all the built up "gunk" on your skin that cleansers and creams just can't do. I would definitely recommend this machine. It is good solid quality and I was very please when it took it out of the box to see that is was more of a professional level machine. The only down side to it are the instructions. They are vague at best and include instructions for several different models of microderm abrasion machines so you have to figure out which instructions to read for your machine. 5/5 Paula M.   Adult Acne - gone!!!

  Get this machine! I'm in my late 20's and I've struggled with acne since I was a teen. The Mia ultrasonic face brush greatly improved my skin - but this machine took me from just "managing" the problem - to literally eliminating the problem. I'm so excited!Don't go too high on the suction. I pushed it too far on the first use and got some red bruising. It went away in a couple of days - but I really did crank the suction up too high. I also had a breakout after the first session. I think it was just purging my skin. I've been using the machine regularly and I've never had the breakout response again. Be sure to use the smooth suction tip after the treatment to get rid of the dead skin and clean out the pores.2 light/medium treatments a week work better for me than 1 heavy treatment once a week.   Just purchased - good price (after checking out the ProX prices, and that thing they have on the infomercial at over $250).Anyway, at 61, my skin is pretty good for my age, but it ain't 25 year old skin anymore! This product has done a nice job, and I've only used it 3 times - I already see a difference, a 'brighter' refreshed look. Just for the hell of it, I used the pad twice, and it worked fine! Maybe I didn't use it long enough the first time so it still had some "go" left in it. But, give it the ol' 1-2 try!I would have liked the pads to be maybe a little more abrasive - for older skin, that would be better.   I love this product. There are sufficient microdermabrasion pads included in this pack to get you hooked on using it--and hooked you will be, for the results speak for themselves. My face is squeaky clean and smooth after using, and I feel like my other facial products are that much more effective (such as moisturizers and serums) after using this product every 3 days. It seems to be having good results in terms of decreasing the look and size of my pores.As a fun aside note....I think that this product could also be used, ahem, for another purpose.   This is a great product and I love the price. It does pretty much what it is supposed to do but I can not use it 3/week as Neutrogena recommends. I only go for twice/ week if at all.   After I went for a round of 6 professional microdermabrasion treatments *I had the crystal microdermabrasion used in the spa* I noticed how great my skin was after that soI did LOTS of research to find a salon quality diamond tipped microdermabrasion machine.The reason I chose diamond tipped is for many reasons;1. Cheaper because you do not have to replace crystals like other machines. Also, when I was using the salon my results were inconsistant. About 3 out of 6 provided obvious results.   I am pleased with my purchase. First I have to say that the company I purchased it through "The Shining Image" replied to my email questions promptly, and the shipment arrived on time, I also liked the fact that I could go to the ups site and see exactly where my shipment was at any time.I had a microdermabrasion treatment at a salon for 80.00, they suggested that I should come back weekly for the first 4-6 weeks. I found that the procedure runs from $80-$$200 a visit.   Tried NuBrilliance First, This is Better

  I bought Nubrilliance, used it twice and had the motor die. This product seems to have a better design (the filters stay put, unlike NB) and it comes with some nice extras that Nubrilliance doesn't- a cleaning brush, blackhead extractor, and 100 fliters. It doesn't have the course, fine, and small heads like Nubrilliance, but the one head it does have works fine for all areas. Another nice feature that Nubrilliance doesn't have is the screen, it has a digital readout that can walk you through a face treament with adjustments in suction intensity for each area and a timer, or you can put it on manual and work on your own time.I found tha suction to be less powerful than Nubrilliance but because the diamonds on the tip are on the outside rim of the tip, rather than recessed as in the center of the Nubrilliance tip, the diamonds are always in contact with your skin and you don't need as much suction.   I have been suffering from large pores and scaring on my face my entire life due too acne when I was younger.   Total money saver compared to the spa

  I bought this home microderm product after many years of getting microderms at the spa, I normally go at least once a month and always love the results. I didn't even know that you could get something like this to use at home, and I was pretty surprised to find it on Amazon for so cheap. I normally spend at least $60 each time I go to the spa for my microderm, and I honestly can't tell much of a difference between the home treatment with the microderm md and what I was doing at the spa. The product even looks pretty much the same as the one they use at the spa, just a little bit smaller.As far as the results go, microderms in general really do the job.   The machine came quickly. It was smaller than I expected? In the box, there was a book of information, but none of which pertained to this particular machine. There was even a peice of paper stuck in the box that said "Since SI-BM02 has the same machine structure, appearance, adn functions as NV-108 described in the manual. Please read pages 9-10 for its basic description and operation. The "manual" tells you what you received and a small diagram of the machine only. It never instructs you on how to set up which I had to spend over an hour trying to figure out myself and while it works very well- for the price I would expect set up instructions for the actual machine that I purchased.   First time user

  I just received my shipment and I was confused on how to set up the machine. Disappointed that the manual wasn't for the machine I bought, but good thing I have a sister who is a licensed cosmetologist who used the same system in college so she was able to help me set it up and go over the do's and don't! I haven't started using the diamond abrasion yet, but I have used the pore cleaner suction which works great! My sister was confused about the spray bottles that it came with, but she said the one that was used at her school was only used for a spray toner which I have already so I wont need to use it!   Works well but...

  What happened to the plastic workstation piece, pictured in the ad that sets all the accessories upright?! Unfortunately, this was one of the selling points for me and Kendall didn' follow through.Also, of note is how quickly I became used to the highest setting. I would say that for the price it's pretty good but there are certainly better machines out there. The tips aren't actually "diamond" they seem to be some sort of crystals adhered to the ends but at the moment, as long as I'm not sandblasting my clients or scratching their faces off i can make do. The wands and tips are metal so they feel very sturdy and do NOT be fooled by how quiet this little sucker is. It has some power behind it. I would not recommend this machine for home use or for an inexperienced therapist because there is potential for damaging your skin if used incorrectly. I love the fact that there are 9 tips to choose from as in the past I have worked with machines that had very little to choose from. Overall I think this little guy is a great start for my business.   I started getting Microdermabrasion from my doctor to take care of my acne, but eventually after moving out of my mom's house and her insurance, I was returning to all my old skin problems. It took me a year and a half before I really realized the change in my skin and I had to start buying make up to cover up all my problems.   I bought this yesterday and I believe it was around £35 for shipping to the UK. A bit expensive but hopefully it will get here safe and sound.   Buy this product and you will feel like you had a facial, seriously. I have used it twice and my skin felt ultra soft. This kit is easy to use, simply rub the crystals on your face for about 1-2 minutes. The crystals are like a salt scrub. Then put the peel serum directly on top of the crystals and rub for about 1 minute (it will feel warm on your skin). Then rinse throughly with warm water. Less than 5 minutes and you are finished! The kit looks like you could use it 10-20 times before running out. Be careful not to get it near your nostrils and eyes.   Home microdermabrasion = Priceless!

  I purchased this machine 12/30/2011 so I've been using it for about a month now. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised - tickled really. I have been going to the same aesthetician for about 2 years (have been getting microdermabrasions off and on for about 15 years). This machine looks just like hers!   Microdermabrasion in the Comfort of Your Home!

  This diamond microdermabrasion machine does the job! I was skeptical at first because it is not the same microdermabrasion machine used in any clinic, but after just a few treatments, my wife and I both saw the results. We both have minor acne scars and dark spots on our faces and we can see that they are beginning to fade and our facial skin is generally smoother. This is after about 4 treatments - at two week intervals. At this rate we already got our money's worth because we would have paid more at any clinic. We can do it ourselves in the comfort of our home, at our own comfort level (you can't really tell an aesthetician how to do her job), at our own convenience, and we own the machine. I recommend using skin moisturizer with sun block after treatment because the exfoliation leaves the skin dry and "scratched" up. The suction helps lift the dead skin.   I have large pores that clog easily, and have always struggled to find something that helps.   Reduces Acne scars...when used for 4 weeks/once week.

  This machine was an obvious investment at the price, but I've always loved getting dermabrasion because it reduced my acne scaring. This machine helps to reduce and even eliminate the acne scaring. You are supposed to use one capsel (sp?) a week, but since I don't use one up every week (you'll probably use half) I just use the rest up the next week. You only use it once a week or it is too drying which you can tell from the flakiness that happens in 4 days (but not so much as the peel). It also closes my pores. My skin is like a babies bottom. It's awesome and totally worth it. I haven't bought replacement capsels yet because i've only used it for 3 weeks...but I think I will wait another month before firing it up again.   Supplies are costly, suction creates red blood vessel mini bruises that photorejuvination heals at a cost of $250.00 If you, like me, already bought it, you can refill empty capsules with powder you buy at about $12.oo/oz which is 4 or more full applications. Simply rip off the rubber tip of their capsule,without ruining the cut on the top, fill it with "cheap" powder , and then reattach rubber cap with a thin strip of scotch tape. It seems to work!   RE: Lost Suction... the solution

  Ive been reading great reviews, but users complain of lost suction... I almost didnt order one because of it. To make a long story short and to the point, there is a small silicone band that fits into one of the grooves of the wand. Mine popped off, I just happened to see it pop off or I wouldnt have known to even look for it. If you look at the produt diagram that came with the unit, you can sort of see a band in the groove, but it isnt labled. When it is missing, the unit has no vacuum seal and is ineffective. The problem is that you dont even realize that it is missing. Try using a tiny rubberband, you can get them at Walmart and at Dollar Tree stores in the hair section. Try slipping one into the groove and my guess is it will be just like new. Too bad the company doesnt lable it as a necessary componant of the system and maybe even include a few extras.
