  Don't let the low price fool you. This is a great machine!

  This machine represents the most incredible value-for-money on the market today. It is very, very easy to use, and the manual is exceptionally helpful. It comes with every foot and accessory you could ever possibly need. In fact, there is nothing more you can buy for it. Compare that to the other sewing machine manufacturers, which give you only the most basic feet and then you must purchase everything else separately. If you have been hankering for the convenience of fully computerized sewing, automatic needle threading, push-button sewing, and lots of fun stitches, don't hesitate. I highly recommend this machine. I've owned very expensive machines from all the top manufacturers, and would not recommend it if the stitches were not beautiful or if it were loud or junky.   Pros and Cons - You Decide

  I bought the machine for the price and the features, but I have to admit, I was nervous after reading some of the reviews that told about all the problems that they had right away. But I figured it had to be better than my 35-40 year old Kenmore. I want to state right away, I am very happy with my purchase thus far. I've had some problems (read below), but I have managed to figure some things out. But, if you are looking for a good machine to quilt, this machine has all the features you will need, and it's priced so you can actually afford it. 2 other points to know, Amazon has a good return policy and from what I have heard, Brother has a good customer service history. These were 2 other deciding factors for me.So here are my first impressions. I thought I was going to get a 1/4" foot that is shown in the instruction manual. I didn't.   good bargain - nice machine

  I wanted a mid-range sewing machine with some flexibility, and this is the machine. I sews quickly and flawlessly, and is super easy to learn. It seems well made, and very intuitive to learn. I love the computerized stitch selection - so easy to change stitch length and width. I've had no problems with winding the bobbin as in previous Singer machines. I love the fact that it comes with a quilting table and a case, too, what a deal. It seems to me to be a good, basic machine that would be great for a beginner or intermediate sewer. I've made several purses since I bought this machine, and they stitched up very well. Good selection of presser feet with this machine, as well. Easy to thread and easy to wind the bobbin. The bobbins are readily available everywhere, so I bought a dozen for $2 so that I could keep plenty wound and ready to go.   Great Shave Ice Package

  I think this is a great deal if you're looking for fun and tasty treats. The machine functions noticeably better if the included ice molds are used. Ice cubes work, but they take much longer to shave down and you will get chunkier shavings (which do not hold the flavor as well). When using the ice molds, make sure to let the ice block sit out for five to ten minutes before shaving ("tempering"), and you will end up with icy shavings closer to a snow texture.The included syrups are tasty, sugary and perfect for drizzling over your shaved ice. I would recommend refrigerating your flavors, even though you don't have to, to slow down how fast they melt the shave ice. The other accessories are fun and would be great for a party, but I think reusable cone cups would be a better solution for day to day snacking.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.   A cool treat in next to no time

  MY 12 year old son asked for an electric sno-cone maker for Christmas. After comparing pricing, and features on many sites I found this to be the best fit. If you are looking for a fast way to crank out a cool treat in just a few minutes this is the thing for you. I wouldn't suggest this for heavy use as it looks like the shaving blade will eventually wear down. This is perfect for a small family. It includes a set of two plastic round containers that need to be simply filled with water and frozen. You then insert one into the top and place the cover on and press down. I love that I don't have to spend the energy or time to hand crank the ice. I also love that this set included everything we needed to get stared. After a quick wash, we where enjoying sno-cones within 5 minutes! I have seen many other options in the electric range but none at such a great price!   Exactly what I was hoping for

  I've spent quite some time looking online for a good snow cone machine. I wanted a snow cone machine that just works and provides fine shaved ice quality that actually absorbs the flavors. After looking through the mixed reviews of several options found on Amazon, I decided to just go with this option and hope for the best. Fortunately, this snow cone machine works well and is exactly what I was looking for.Operating the machine is simple - load ice into the machine, put the lid on and firmly press down to get shaved ice. Inside the machine is just a single blade at the bottom with a narrow slit for the shaved ice to fall through. Inside the lid is a metal plate that spins whenever you press the button on top of the lid.   Does it work better than bleach?

  This product seems to be targeted at the consumer with a HE washer who has no idea why their washer smells like mildew or gym socks when it's not in use. First, I'll tell you why: When the washer is done with its cycle, there is some water left in a small container below the drum where the water pump is. Also, if you have any loops or dips in your water discharge hose, then water collects in there too. There is usually some dirt or leftover softener or detergent in the water, so as it sits the bacteria or mildew will grow in it until the next time you wash.Tide's solution to this is to sell you a product that kills the bacteria and leaves some residue that smells good.   May work but not worth it

  I was curious so I tried out this product. It's supposed to keep your washing machine nice and clean. Having grown up hearing my grandmother's saying "You can't get clean clothes out of a dirty washer", I thought I'd give it a try.Does it work? I have no idea. I've used it and beyond the perfume smell it left behind, I can't tell if my washer is any cleaner or not. For a moment, let's assume it DID clean my washer... does it do a better job than an empty load and a cup of bleach? I doubt it. I have a standard top-loading washer. Perhaps people with a high effencicy front loading washer - which are subject to mold troubles - will notice a difference.Now, about the perfume smell. Oh my gosh.   Works Well Enough, But So Does Bleach at Much Lower Cost

  I have a front loader Kenmore washer. I threw one of these easy-to-use packets into my washer and ran a cycle. The result? A clean washer, but one with a perfume-like, fake-floral scent. I'm not much of a fan of these types of fragrances, as I use a fragrance-free HE detergent regularly.To its credit, this product arrived in Amazon's "Frustration Free" packaging - a simple, easy-to-open cardboard box sealed with paper tape.My preference is to use bleach at pennies a use and forgo this fake floral fragrance (I actually like the "clean" smell after using bleach) and save $2.00+ each time.   Awesome Bubbles!!!

  My son got this bubble machine for his birthday. He used to have a different one that didn't work very well and was very loud! This one is much quieter and works really, really well! (I make my own bubble solution so this may have something to do with how well it works.) We love it! It blows millions of bubbles non-stop! The other reviewer is correct though. You really shouldn't move it when there is bubble solution in it and be careful not to over-fill it. If you must move it, don't tip it toward the back, keep it pointed slightly front-down or the bubble solution will spill out of the air intake vents in the back. The handle is really just for carrying your (slippery) bubble machine somewhere for clean-up and storage.   Customer Video Review Length:: 0:43 MinsWow! I love this little machine! It makes the most out of every drop of your bubble solution and pops out a CRAZY amount of bubbles every second. Make sure you have extra solution on hand! The angle of the opening and the fan helps to push the bubbles up and out so they travel - and not just pop right outside the machine. I had one of THOSE machines already - so frustrating! The bubble solution reservoir is small, but it holds more than enough to make thousands of bubbles for over 30 minutes before it needs to be refilled. The picture of the toddlers on the box holding the machine while it's blowing bubbles is somewhat misleading since, like other reviewers have stated, if you don't hold it just right (tipped forward slightly) the bubble solution will leak out the back.   Very impressive, but doesn't hold my 2-yr-old's attention

  My 24-month-old is very leery of new noises. Some young children just are. My daughter screamed and ran away from it the first time it came on, but she's used to it now. The motor is not that loud really. Much quieter than a hair dryer, for instance.This is a neat toy, especially on a windy day! It works well and produces hundreds of bubbles within seconds, but be prepared to hand over that leftover bottle of bubble solution along with a wand after the "new has worn off" with the bubble machine. And even though she doesn't want to sit and stare at it for long, she does ask for her bubble machine a lot.Just buy regular bubble solution at the store for $1.   Very good mortiser

  I've just unpacked, assembled and tested this machine. Here's my two cents - packing was great, smothered in styrofoam and unpainted parts bathed in oil. Cleaned up easily. Instructions were well written and assembly took about 45 minutes. I bought this based on a woodworking magazine review as an upgrade for my the Delta drill press mortising attachment. Since I've been doing more mission style furniture lately its worth it to have a more substantial machine. This machine earned the excellent reviews by being well designed and constructed. The rack & pinion fence alone is worth the little bit more that you will pay for this tool. The first mortises I cut were 1/2"x1-1/4"x2"long in white oak and were smooth sided and burn free. The 1745 rpm speed slows your feedrate but pays a big dividend in a quality mortise. Don't buy it unless you have enough mortises to justify it but if you do you will be pleased with this machine.   Having used the new Delta mortiser for two weeks now, I am relatively pleased with the machine. The cast iron table and fence are extremely solid. The depth adjust is sound and stays locked down so you don't have to worry about cutting too deep. Bit changes are simple and your knuckles are safe. The sliding dovetail way makes it easy to adjust the resistance in the head travel to your liking. The lever locks down solid and is plenty long to get that extra torque you need to start a mortis in those real hard woods. The bits supplied with the machine have worked well to punch smooth mortises in everything from red oak to gancalo alves and cocobolo.My only negative comment is the loss in sturdiness of the device when you install the 2" column lift. This raises the fence off the table and you lose some of the stability in the machine. This can be fixed with some blocks under the fence, but then you must sacrifice the ease of fence adjustment.   Great Tool

  I grabbed the first one I saw and handled... The large cast iron table/base, and rack and pinion fence with hold down, are the killer features of this mortiser. The table/base is very stable and the fence is very simple to adjust. The bits are easy to set up and adjust as there is plenty of room for your hands behind the chuck access door. Another thing of note is that the machine came with a cast iron riser block that adds about 2" to the machine's capacity in the normal configuration (i.e., with the bit over the table rather than off the back). Compared to the more basic Delta unit, and to the competition's bench top offerings, this is a much more substantial machine and is well worth the relatively small price differential.   At first I was a little wary with all the reviews. Some said it did not work. Some said bobbins were a problem. I waited a month or so and used it extensively before I decided to review it so it would be accurate.Firstly, the machine is very easy to thread.   I didn't want an expensive sewing machine. I just wanted to hem my boy's pants which are always too long, and it works for that. The instructions are pretty bad but with a little help from Youtube I figured it out. I was able to rethread the bobbins and use the thread I had without any problem.   Go Back In Time With An Old Friend.....

  This review refers to the Warner Bros. DVD edition of "The Time Machine"(1960)......I am so impressed with how this 43 year old classic Sci-Fi film looks and sounds on the DVD, that I am going to start with that this time. I wasn't expecting it to look as great as it did because the editorial review here gives it 3 out of 5 stars on both the picture and the sound. If you are a big fan of this film, or thinking of buying it as a gift for someone who is, you will not be disappointed with this transfer. The picture is presented in the original widescreen format,so you won't miss a bit of the action. To watch it you would think you went back in the time machine to 1960 and were viewing it for the first time. It is clear and sharp with vibrant color.The soundtrack is remastered in Dolby Dig 5.1 and is a welcome enhancement.The DVD also includes a terrific Behind The Scenes documentary called "Time Machine...The Journey Back".   The Time Machine DVD Delivers

  Like most people, I had only seen this classic science fiction movie on television. That never detracted from the story, which is one of the best that Wells wrote, but it didn't prepare me for how great this movie looks and sounds. The DVD provides brilliant color and a generally sharp picture with only a little, infrequent softness that I suspect is from the original film. I was surprised at how clean the transfer is. I did not see any scratches, dust or other defects. The movie is presented in its original, widescreen aspect ratio. The sound is also excellent.   This thing is A M A Z I N G

  I read all the reviews before purchasing and I was a little worried about what I was going to get for under $20.I can assure you that what I got is something amazing. As other reviewers said, it doesn't do much in just plain water. But, if you add a few drops of dishwasher soap and warm water....WOW!!!It cleaned up my wife's diamond ring and earrings so that they looked like we just bought them that day from the jeweler. Maybe even better if that is possible!I was so addicted to seeing things come out cleaner than I can ever remember that I then threw pretty much anything in the house that would fit into the thing with surprising results every time: Keys, glasses, watches, pocket knives, coins, letter opener, cellphone (just kidding) etc. After I was done with all that, I took it to my family's houses and cleaned everything in their houses that would fit!   Good machine but wait for sale

  This machine has worked great in cleaning up some used jewelry I bought online. I used it with a commercial jewelry cleaner liquid soap, so that might help with effectiveness. I was pretty amazed in how well it cleaned out the tight undergallery of a tanzanite ring - the stones were a completely different color (darker and better) than before the cleaning and actually sparkled again. Just one three-minute cycle seems to do the trick but for really gunky undergalleries more cycles are likely needed.I was able to find this cleaner new on Amazon for $18 - if there aren't any available at that price now, I recommend waiting to see if that price will be posted again.I would NOT use this machine with fine pave settings or cheaply crafted prong settings because it knocked out a diamond baguette in one of my other rings (not high quality) on the first cleaning.   This cleaner keeps all my jewelry sparkling like new. When you have a very dirty ring it takes a few cycles and even a toothbrush to clean it for the FIRST time. This cleaner will maintain your clean ring. I use it daily and all my rings look like new. It also helps to change the water and clean the cleaner out with a dry towel depending on how much you use it. I clean mine once a month or whenever the water gets dirty. And that is the point, the water is dirty, and therefore the cleaner is working. If you need extra cleaning power put a drop of dish soap in the cleaner.   AHH...peace, at last!

  I think there is a contest in my neighborhood, that I'm unaware of. I suspect it's designed to find out which homes can produce the most noise. My neighbors are definitely in on it. They're probably in the top five! I surmise that when their dog isn't barking continuously on its own, they're standing in the yard yelling 'speak' and throwing meaty tidbits her way.In addition, one child is always toting a boom-box, blaring rap, while the other is bouncing a basketball off the side of their house, sometimes for eight hours straight, often running onto my porch to impress me with his dribbling skills. I think the neighbor behind me is in the top five, too. He's taken up drums, and on the weekend he moves his stereo, complete with auditorium sized speakers and sub-woofer, onto his patio for my enjoyment.   Love it.

  This is the second sound conditioner that I have owned. It cost more than the first one, however, it is worth every extra cent. It has a much richer and more soothing sound than sound machines that use a digital recording. I live in an apartment that is in a noisy business district with a 16 yr. old that stays up all night, yet, I sleep like a childless person who lives in the country.   Do you have a family member who is a light sleeper? If so, this sound machine will be a godsend for you.
