  Without question the best shaving product in my experience. Used with plenty of hot water, a double edged razor, and a brush (up and down strokes are best) and you can expect the closest, most comfortable shave ever. The scent is manly but not macho, and is very light in any case after you wash it off, and you don't need to use aftershave either. Wonderful.If you use a brush, make sure to get a good badger hair brush (expect to spend anywhere from twenty to forty dollars for a decent but inexpensive brush that will last a decade or more.)   Proraso Shave Cream is the best bang for the buck in hi-end, non drugstore shave creams. I've tried them all and keep coming back to proraso. The texture, consistency and effectiveness of the cream are first rate - and you don't need a badger hair brush! I initially missed using a brush at first, but don't miss all the product I wasted that were left behind in the bristles.   Too much fragrance, lathers well, decent price-performance

  I've been looking for a cheaper alternative to Geo. F. Trumpers sandalwood shaving cream, which has become my gold standard. Taylor of Old Bond street was considerably cheaper, so I decided to give it a try.The immediate difference I noticed was the strength and quality of the sandalwood fragrance. It's too highly scented for me, and neither is it as pleasant a scent as Trumpers. Whereas Trumpers leaves a hint of fragrance behind after a shave and a wipe-down with a wash-cloth, I find that Taylor leaves behind an "aftershave" level of fragrance, which is more than I prefer. Also, the scent is a sharper, more artificial smell that brings to my mind a dryer anti-static sheet, not something I'd want to smell like. I don't have any allergies to fragrances, so this is purely a preference thing, and I had no bad reactions to the scent.It lathers up nicely. I dare say, slightly better than Trumpers.   I am almost 70 and have been shaving for a long time. Have tried shaving with different kinds of lather and over the years have come to prefer the lather made with shaving soap and a brush.   I recently switched to double edged razor blade shaving and this is the cream i bought with my razor. This lathers up quick and has a very rich, highly lubricating lather. It has a very subtle smell that I have grown to really like.   Great Shaving Cream

  I'm still on my first tube of this shaving cream but so far I really like it. A little bit goes a long way when used with a brush, so it looks like this tube will last a while. I was concerned that it might smell medicine-y since it says it has eucalyptus and menthol scents, but the fragrance is not at all like medicine. I like it. And the best part is that it leaves a cool refreshing feeling on your face when you wash it off. As for the quality of the shave, it seems to work very well and help me get close without too many cuts. I get a lot less nicks than with my last shaving cream.   I'm buying this set of 6 shaving creams for my husband for the 2nd time....if he didn't like the cream he would have said not to purchase again. At $2.99 per can it is slightly higher than if I were to wait for it to go on sale at CVS or Rite Aid but because of the convenience of home delivery the extra .10 per can is more than worth it for me.   Good Shaving Cream, Good Price

  I've been using this cream for some time now and I just realized I was able to get it in bulk packs and subscription services. I hate going out to the store to buy things like this (mainly because I wait until I'm out), so the subscription is good. If you are like me with 5 men in the house, you can probably use the six cans pretty easily. We aren't even that hairy of a bunch, so your mileage may vary based on your level of wolverinism and the number people you have.In terms of the cream itself, I'm a big fan of foam over gel as you don't have to wait for it to foam, you get a better idea of how much you are using and I think it works better to lubricate and hydrate the face. Gillette's is good at all that. I don't have sensitive skin, but I've always used this because it seems easier on my face and it provides for a smooth shave.Everything said the cream itself is great, but a 6pk is a lot of shaving cream.   I have used many gels and foams over the years with my Panasonic wet-dry shaver. I get much better results with this shaving cream. My skin is noticeably smoother after shaving.   Short review:Used with Proraso Pre-Shave Cream and a blade, nothing will give you a closer shave. Your face will be baby smooth all day. You will need a shaving brush too.Long review:I bought this because a reviewer said it was better than the Proraso shaving cream in a tube and that reviewer was right. Compared to Proraso cream in the tube, which is still better than anything in a can, this stuff gives me instant lather and is thinner on the face and easier for the blade to get through. I've only tried the soap with Proraso Pre Shave Cream Menthol & Eucalyptus and my Gillette Fusion razor. It is by far the best, smoothest and closest shave I've ever had in my entire life. I've used it several times and always with good results. It seems to work a tiny bit better than the Van Der Hagen Glycerin Soap, which is also a great soap and quite a bit cheaper. These two soaps however are light years ahead of the Williams Mug Shaving Soap which I find to be pretty poor. I even prefer this shaving soap to a few of the many creams I've tried.   I bought this for my husband, and was shocked by how much he loved it. I had given him the 7 piece "On the Road Travel Pack", which he loved, and when he ran out of the shave lube included in that, I thought I'd get him this Triple Cushion Shave Lather. It is the greatest! He hates to shave, but this makes it much more tolerable for him. Soft, smooth skin, and a smooth, no drag razor trail make this the best stuff he's ever used for shaving. I love too use it for shaving my legs too! The macadamia nut oil, glycerin and soybean oil, make a terrific moisturizing base, and help protect from razor nicks and abrasions. Sometimes it is hard to find, just make sure it is the Jack Black Shave Lather in the jar, not the tube.   Big Difference

  I really like this cream over store bought stuff. It doesn't irritate my skin and it really allows the blade to glide off of your face nicely. Definitely worth getting.
