    This small bar of soap changed my life

    When I bought this little bar of soap my life was in social ruin. My acne was bad (I'm talking 5-13 breakouts at any one time)! I'm 21 and I've had acne since I was 14. I'm also half Asian so the acne would leave temporary post-marks on my ethnic skin that could last for up to a year! I was in the midst of a depression when I bought this bar of soap, because I had tried everything (prescription, natural remedies, etc.) and nothing worked, not only did nothing work, but my skin was also incredibly oily and nothing could manage it.     Closer shave, less oily skin, no breakouts!

    I'm not exactly a heavy reviewer, especially of soaps, but I've had cruddy skin for a long time. Every afternoon my face feels oily, like I need another face wash. My shaves look like 5 oclock shadows as soon as I finish. I shave my head, so the problem is just compounded. (33 yr old male btw)I ordered this based on the previous reviews, and I have to say I am really amazed. I don't exactly pay attention to my skin condition when I try a product (I usually give up or forget to track it), but after a few days the difference is so obvious that even I noticed it.     This mud soap works great!!! I used it as a facial and body soap; As a facial soap, it leaves the skin very clean and moisturized. This product is all natural. There are no fragrance, and it's good for the skin. I love this product!! My skin used to be very oily at the end of the day, but after using this soap, my skin is more balanced and moisturized.     I was a bit disappointed that the 100% natural, "direct from the Dead Sea" had added ingredients, especially since one of the jars of mud was for a friend with extreme sensitive skin (she was one of those who had to live in a germ free bubble - yeah!). Well, she looked at the list of added ingredients, olive oil, seaweed, and aloe vera and she said it would be fine.I am editing my review because this product will be fine, and my first review was written when I was surprised and upset at finding out it wasn't pure Dead Sea mud. I wish the profile for this item had more clearly stated that it was, in fact, "enriched" with other ingredients. I would have preferred to try the Creator's original recipe.I do want to buy from Israel whenever I can and this is from Israel.     A good soap, although not as good as the price would suggest.

    The soap does leave your skin feeling clean, although it really doesn't set itself apart from other alternative choice/boutique soaps, such as Dudu-Osun or Tarocco. I havent really noticed any upgrade from those two in particular, which i use regularly. In fact, with the Dud-osun especially, i have found that this Jericho bar doesnt compete well at all...it doesn't clear your pores as well, although the drop off is admittedly negligible, which brings me to my two main issues with this soap, given that fact. Price and scent....it cleans almost as well as the aforementioned two brands, but is priced higher ($8 for this 4.4 oz bar vs the same $8 for Tarocco's 5.2 oz bar or $10 for 4 Dudu-osun 5.29 oz bars). Additionally, this soap actually smells like mud, which cant be said for any other one i've tried. That isnt really pleasant, and i feel for the price, there should be some sort of compatible aroma outside of just simple mud scented.     Miracle in a jar

    Since I've gotten into my late 20's, I have become really blemish prone. At night after I wash my face, I place the mask on the areas where I have a pimple that is forming or that I have popped (which you should not do, pop pimples that is lol) and I leave it on for an hour or so. Word of caution after a while the mask starts to crumble so I wouldn't recommend leaving it on over night or there will be little crumbled pieces all over. If you don't mind, go for it. By the time I get ready to wash the mask off, Ive noticed that the areas where I have blemishes have turned white. Once I was it off the redness of the blemishes forming have subsided and the ones that Ive popped are not longer irrated and red and by the morning a scab has formed to cover it.     Item did arrive on time,However, this product is just a basic mud mask. I question whether it is truly dead sea mud, seeing as I have a much more expensive dead sea mud mask from Israel that is of much better quality and works much better at clearing my skin (the brand is Deluvia Dead Sea, if you were wondering). If you just want a decent mask go for it, but if you want the real deal take my word for it and spend a little more on a product from Israel, the results are worth it!!     Maybe the best bar soap I have ever used!

    If you like smooth soap, this may not be the product for you. However, if you like the exfoliating feeling of little granules in the soap, as I do, then this soap is awesome! In addition to the "scrubby" feeling, it doesn't have an overpowering scent. It just smells pleasant and gets you clean. At the end, it rinses away completely and leaves your skin feeling fantastic!     Black, not blue

    I bought this as a present for my mom because she's into stuff like this. I thought it would be cool to give her BLUE mud. Well, it turned out to be the regular mud-colored mud, so....I can't speak to its medicinal effects, though.     Not your average soap!!!!

    I tried a few of these product from a mall kiosk and decided to try amazon to see if I could find more. I wish I would've looked here first because the price is a lot cheaper than the mall for the same line of products. This soap leaves your skin feeling and looking clean. I have eczema and it has been clearing up with this product.
