  Dries me out

  I used this product about 4 times a week after cleansing/scrubbing with Burt's Bees products that I use every night. This product dries my skin out a lot (it may be because I use it after citrus products, although I've never had drying out issues when using only Burt's Bees).I have noticed that my pores look better, so it does it's job. I recently cut my use down to about once a week and the dry skin isn't as bad anymore and I still see some results.I would say if you have sensitive skin, this may be too harsh for you especially in the winter. 3/5 M.   Amazing toner

  A little goes a long way with this stuff, and remember to shake it before each use! My skin has been doing a lot better since I've started using this toner. It has more of the active ingredients in it than regular toners (which are primarily alcohol), and it helps to heal your skin instead of just disinfecting it.   I really love this stuff. I originally bought it because it has Vitamin E which is great for healing/helping to reduce the appearance of scars. Over time, I have noticed a slight reduction on some of my scars but it hasn't been that long since I have used it so I imagine long term use will be great. What I like most about it is how well it moisturizes. It is body butter so by nature it is somewhat heavy and can be a tiny bit sticky when it is humid, but it doesn't last. I generally use it at night and wake up with totally refreshed skin. When I use it in the morning, I notice that I don't need to use another moisturizer during the day. I actually use a lot of products from the Vitamin E line, like the face lotion and body lotion. I really like them all and recommend all.   I love the Brazil Nut Body Butter! I really do, so Im glad youve asked for my review! It absorbs quickly and aids in dry skin healing immediately. I like to layer it a few times over the course of an hour or so. I just cant live without it actually. I had tried with failure, alot of different moisturizers on the market over the years, wasting a ton of money on what I would say is basically false advertising of products that are mostly water and wax based, and was given this butter a few years ago by a friend and have been ordering it ever since. It pays for itself with the first use, and is not only excellent for dry hands but legs and well, just about anywhere you want healed, soft real skin again. I use it on my cuticles after manicures and have instant results there too! I totally recommend it to anyone who just cant get their dry skin to heal and be truly soft.   I love using this product.

  It really makes my skin better!!! I do not recommend it for people with sensitive skin because it is a little strong. All i do is apply it for about 15 minutes, after cleansing my face, about once or twice a week and I honestly feel a difference right after rinsing it off. My skin and pores look so much cleaner and after a few weeks I noticed that my blemishes are also getting lighter. Before I started using this, I had very oily skin with some acne and a lot of blemishes on my face and i tried a lot of things but other products just never really took care of my blemishes and the oil like this mask does for me.   Sensitive skin: Caution!

  I bought the Tea Tree oil line for my 14 year old daughter, and have been very pleased, BUT--the mask has been a nightmare for her! She left it on 5-10 min. (we could not find any instructions on the box)and she did feel a burning sensation that the other reviewer described. This was 4 days ago and she is going around with a very red face that is actually peeling, like a bad sunburn. You can see a sharp color difference at her jawline where she stopped using the mask. I've been having her moisturize like crazy but after the moisturizer soaks in, the peeling is back.   Great mask.

  I honestly love this product. The only reason it isn't getting five stars is because of the price: it's pricey but is great if you want to treat yourself.I honestly only bought this because I had a gift card to The Body Shop. I have mild acne and use this about once a week. I put it on after cleansing (preferably after a shower or bath so my pores are open), let it dry and use a warm washcloth to wipe it off. I personally love Tea Tree oil and so I love the smell. If you are sensitive, make sure to test it out because it definitely has a strong tingle that my sister describes as a "burning". It has never burned me and I absolutely love the Tea Tree tingle and smell.This product leaves my skin feeling wonderfully refreshed, smooth, clean, moisturized and it has helped clear up some acne.   I have to admit, I wasn't so crazy about this product at first. It irritated my skin and my skin was still shiny after using it. However, I rated it a 5 star because I have super sensitive skin and like this option of a non-chemical and natural solution. It did take me a while to get used to it, but the stinging sensation did go away, my skin was no longer oily, and it cleared up my skin a lot.   Great stuff if you have back acne issues

  I buy this for my brother who has bad back acne -- it is the only body wash that works for him, and it's an amazing deal to find this for $15.00 or so for a 25oz bottle. There's something about the grapefruit that really helps the acne go away. He uses this in combination with a vinegar treatment. Just regular vinegar that we buy at the grocery store (can be any kind: apple cider, white, wine, rice, whatever is cheapest). Just have him lie on the ground and then take a little bowl and pour some vinegar in that...then use a paper towel and dab the vineger all over his back. Let that dry for 20 minutes or so and then he takes a shower using this grapefruit body wash. His back has not been this clean and clear for ten years.For those without acne problems, this grapefruit body wash is invigorating and relaxing. There's something about the grapefruit oils that makes your skin feel great and also the scent makes you wake up and want to face the day with strength.   I've been trying to choose products that don't test on animals and, out of curiosity, I've been making a point of trying products that I haven't used before as much as possible. The Body Shop occupies this odd space in my mind.
