  Worked great on my blackheads

  I've never really had an acne problem, but I have a terrible blackhead problem across my nose. My pores are rather large so it makes the blackheads easy to see.I bought this because I thought the little scrubber was neat. I'm terrible to give in to gimmicks and figured that this would be another one I'd be disappointed with.I love the scent, and the scrubber is very gentle so it doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. After using this for about two weeks I've noticed a huge difference in my blackheads.My face looks much clearer and I no longer feel the blackhead 'bumps' when I touch my nose or the skin around it.   Bye bye blackheads!

  I struggle with blackheads. I've tried everything you can name that's a cleanser from gels to masks, you name it. I was so freaking happy though when I used this tonight. about 75% of my blackheads were gone!! I almost cried, it was so weird. I was not expecting it, but it was great. I still had some left, but anything that helps. Before I was using those stupid Biore Strips that got like two blackheads...   Not my #1 favorite but I do really like this stuff

  When I first got this facial cleanser, my first through was that the rubber scrubber, while a nice addition, felt like it would fall apart quickly. To my surprise it didn't- it has been going like a champ. The scrubber is great and really helps you get your face nice and clean. The cleanser smells nice with a hint of apricot, but it isn't overpowering. It is nice and ex foliating without being too harsh on your skin. This is great for an everyday cleaner if you don't have any skin conditions, but from my experience, it really doesn't do much to clear troubled skin. Overall, I do like this, but for my skin, I need something to help clear up my skin too.   Allot of people could use this product alone to stop breakouts if they have moderate adult acne but people with bigger adult acne problems should really try this product and Oxy Maximum Daily Face Wash along with controlling or eliminating processed sugars in their diet before resorting to a Dermatologist. I have spent ALLOT of money on Dermatologist appointments, medications (which often damage the liver), and the MD's brand of acne wash - all of which did little more in the long term than damage to my body and wallet.My first hand recommendation for moderate to severe adult acne. While in the shower, use this product, rinse, then use Oxy Maximum Daily Face Wash w/ 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (same amount of BP as the MD wash) and rinse.   Great as a daily scrub!

  I've been using Neutrogena deep clean invigorating foaming scrub for about two months now and have become quite attached to it! Recently I read about how important it is for people of a certain age to exfoliate their skin daily and so I bought this scrub to give it a try. I am happy with the results!I also like the energizing microbeads with tingly cool lather.   Compared to everything I've tried anyway.Those little baubles inside feel like they're cleaning off your dead skin as well. And it smells minty or eucalyptic -very clean. There never seems to be any - and I mean any dirt left on my face after using this soap. My only complaint about this product is I wish it was in a pump form so that I didn't have to open the top and squeeze it out on my wet hands. It gets kind of messy.   Not For Everyone

  I like the Aveeno products I've tried, including this one. However, considering the reasons I purchased this product, I would have to say I'm disappointed with it. This product is generally not working for me.First of all, some others here mention the smaller beads. That might seem like a small concern. However, I think the beads are the reason this product won't work for everyone--I believe that this product is mainly for those with sensitive skin, and that's what they should advertise so the rest of us can save our money. I can see how big/harsh beads can irritate some people's skin, and I've seen reviews of this product where many people have mentioned a scrub by St. Ives as an example of a harsh scrub.   This product is great. I am not the type to clean my face with anything other than when I shower in the morning, using normal bath soap. I am stationed in Afghanistan and the air here in Kabul is full of "stuff". I ordered the stuff to try to minimize what the air and dirt was doing to my face. I cleans extremely well, including pores, and leaves my face tingling as if I had just had a facial. I look forward to cleaning my face with the Nivea 3 times a week.   Revitalizing and Energizing are two completley different products !!!

  I noticed that several of the reviews are for the Nivea "Energizing" which was the original formula for the Nivea facial scrub. That was a fantastic product that did wonders for my face.Unfortunately Nivea discontinued that product and replaced it with the "revitalizing" formula which is 50% different ingredients and leaves me with skin that isn't nearly as clear.I've been searching all over for the old formula but it is nearly impossible to get.   This face scrub works very well. The scrub is very course and rough but that's what makes it work so well. When you rub it into your skin it takes off all the old skin, cleans your pores, and removes oil. Your face feels very smooth after using it. This scrub probably wouldn't be good for someone with very sensitive skin, it will probably irritate it a lot. The scent is also pleasant in this face scrub. It seems to be the same scent that they use in some other Nivea for men products. I've used this on multiple occasions and my face doesn't seem to dry out from this product. A huge plus!   I love this product so much I researched stores where I can purchase it when I moved (not many do). It's got a great smell, and offers this strange mix of a light scrub yet moisturizing at the same time. Your face just glows afterwards.To get the right effect, scoop a small amount with your fingers and mix it with a bit of water in your hand. Gently rub in circles around your face then rinse. I especially use it around my nose where my pores are large and prone to blackheads. The oils in the scrub don't seem to make it worse and do a great job cleaning the area.Highly recommended. 5/5 M.   A Good Facial Scrub

  When my wife brought this little vial home, I looked at it and thought, This is only going to last two days at most! What you'll find is that the facial scrub is a highly concentrated paste. All you have to do is scoop a small portion out and add a little bit of water. Mix it on your hand, and you've got one of the best facial scrubs out there.   Best out there!

  Do not dismiss this because it is a drugstore scrub! I tried this a few years ago, and found it to be a bit rough on my skin. HOWEVER, since then, my skin has changed and become oilier than it was. I got a sample of this, and decided to give it another try. It's absolutely wonderful! This time around, I didn't find it to be too rough, but rather just right. I am tired of finding face scrubs that are gentle and seem to do nothing. The St Ives leaves my skin very smooth, and it stays that way for at least a couple of days! Has a nice, non-medicial smell as well. I have tried more expensive department store brand scrubs (as well as other drugstore scrubs), and this seems to be the best of the best! It is NOT one of those really fine sand particle like scrubs that are the usual on the market. This one is different. There is another one that says it is for acne, but has salycylic acid. This one does not. I did not want to irritate my skin by adding that. I use this and then my Peter Thomas roth benzoyl peroxide wash. It keeps me from scratching my skin with my acne.   Not your same old Apricot Scrub!

  I hadn't used St. Ives Apricot Scrub in years because I'd moved on to higher priced and - I assumed - better scrubs. Just tried this scrub again and I was very pleasantly surprised! It really has changed: the scrub particles are finer than they used to be and, even though they provide fabulous exfoliation, there is nothing abrasive about this newer version. If you haven't used St. Ives Apricot Scrub in a while, I suggest you give it another try. I'm thrilled with it and have even started using it on my legs in the shower.   Clarisonic vs. Olay Pro-X - an excellent value!

  I know you are wondering if a $28 item can compare at all to something that cost nearly ten times the price. The answer is YES! I have the Clarisonic Pro - which is the top of the line for their model, so before you spend the money on both, I'll do a side by side comparison for you. Mind you, I am VERY happy with my Clairsonic. Even knowing that this I am happy I made the purchase for both of them, since they are fairly different. Here's why:Size: The Olay Pro-X is about half the size of the Clarisonic. This is actually better in many ways. It is easier to hold, lightweight, it fits in my shower caddy easily without dropping, you can travel with it very easily. I think this is my favorite part about the differences. It also makes the brush head much smaller, which has a different effect. Of course, the motor is at least half the size as well, and this effects how this feels.   Amazing

  I was looking for something like this but I didn't want to spend $200 on the other brand when I wasn't sure it would work. For $30 I can take a bit of a chance. I have been using this brush since Christmas Eve and I am amazed at how much better my skin looks. At 56, zits and clogged pores that just dodn't want to go away are pretty much on the mend. Imbedded black heads have disappeared. I wouldn't use this more than once a day because it tends to dry out my skin. Hydrate after you use this. In short, I'm really glad I bought this cleaning system.   A little goes a long way

  Used this product for about 2-1/2 weeks before writing this review. I can easily see one tube lasting for 2 or more months as only a tiny bit is needed to massage into your face and neck when the skin is already wet.I am very sensitive to allergens and have a problem with many chemical scents. The barely there scent is pleasant and only noticeable when I brought the tube up to my face for a sniff test. I don't notice it at all when applying the product.My face does feel smoother than when just using my moisturizer alone, and I was surprised that this was accomplished with so little exfoliating granules. Although part of me wishes there was a tad more of them per application.Apparently the detoxifying aspect of it works since I've broken out in a couple of places. That too seems to be gentle or I would have expected a much larger break out at once to get rid of the toxins in my pores.Would I purchase this product when it runs out... 4/5 C.   nice product, keeps your face soft.

  This is a nice little facial scrub.It has an extremely gentle texture. The cream goes on smoothly- a little accomplishes a very nice facial cleansing.This well priced product is very nicely balanced and equivalent to higher priced skincare products. The lotion has a mild granularity which helps it accomplish the task of a rejuvenating facial scrub. However, it goes on smoothly and is not irritating to the delicate skin of the face.The container lends itself readily to use in the shower-apply and rinse off and enjoy smoother skin.Nice product, give it a try-no downside.   Amazing product

  Since I'm a guy who doesn't use this sort of product regularly, I asked my wife and a few of my daughters to try it out and give me their feedback. The have three different types of skin, and use high quality skin care products. My wife loves this product. She says it gave her face a soft and restored feeling after only one use. I completely agree. She immediately and spontaneously raved on about this Aveeno product...and she's very selective in her use of facial products. I could see and feel a difference too.My daughter who has normal to oily skin noticed an improvement in one day. Not only did her acne seem to clear up, but her face had a nicer glow to it.My youngest daughter is the challenging one with dry eczema, she tested the very same product. And she had fantastic results. I don't know how one product like this can work on three different facial types and get the same basic results, but it did.   The Answer!!!!!

  I bought this at Target as i needed something new for my skin and i happened to pick this one. This stuff is absolutely amazing. It leaves your skin fresh, smooth, and clean. It strips away all the dirt and oil without over drying (seriously) and still gentle enough that it wont cause breakouts or irritation. Don't be afraid of the word 'scrub' i use it just as a cleanser (twice daily everyday). Still it doesnt dry out my combination oily and super sensitive skin. This is probably the only cleanser/scrub of ALL that i have tried that i will rebuy. That alone is HUGE. Prior to making the decision to switch to something new, i was using origins checks and balances cleanser and the neutrogena naturals pore scrub and this $7 stuff is waaaay better. I have also tried a bunch of sephora cleansers, avon, retail and drugstore stuff and even prescription dermatologist stuff let me tell you this stuff is IT. However, it is not a miracle product.   Well, I'll just add my great review to the rest. I have plenty of acne, and pretty sensitive skin that's both dry and oily (ARGH). I used Proactiv once at a friend's house and my skin was irritated for a couple of days, so I'm sensitive. This scrub is FANTASTIC. Cruelty free, doesn't irritate my skin at all, and really seems to help the breakouts on my face and shoulders. Also no stinky perfume--I am allergic and companies seem to feel it's necessary to put perfume in facial care products, ick. This just smells like peppermint and feels so nice.
