  Silky Smooth Face

  After an esthetician at Glen Ivy Spa in Corona, CA used this on me during a facial I had, I fell in love immediately. I had been searching for a great exfoliant that I could use to help me eliminate the dead skin on my face and the blackheads on the sides of my nose. As she explained it, the papain is a natural ingredient that removes the dead skin and therefore is much safer than exfoliant scrubs. Not only is it safer than scrubs, but it is safe and gentle enough for everyday use. After I came out of the facial, I noticed my blackheads were gone and my face was silky smooth once again. She said that blackheads formed because dead skin would be lodged into pores and as more and more dead skin continues to block the pores, they turn black and become the enemy, blackheads. By using this powder when mixed with water becomes a cream, it will help prevent the reoccurence of blackheads and your skin feels smooth again too.   Best Daily Exfoliant

  I use this every morning after I cleanse and before I use toner. It is after all called DAILY Microfoliant. You really only need a small amount. I like to wash my face in the shower, so it presents a small problem. Mostly because its a powder and you cant get it the bottle near water. However, I have found it reasonably easy to use and it works great. My skin looks and feels great.Its softer, more smooth and I have less breakouts. Its gentle enough for my combination skin.   Best exfoliator

  I use this especially in dry weather to get rid of flakiness. It's gentle but effective. Sometimes I use it everyday. Usually every other day or 3 times a week. It's great to use before applying foundation if you have issues with flakiness. It creates a smooth canvas. I use Paula's Choice BHA and AHA. The AHA is supposed to be a chemical exfoliator, but it's too drying to me. I use it to help fade acne marks. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is the best for physical/chemical (it's both) exfoliation.   Bad Packaging

  This is a great product, comes in a white powder form, and gently exfoliates the skin. The only complaint I have is that the packaging could be better in the travel size version. Got this in the mail with quite a bit of product in the lid, which ended up getting everywhere when I opened it. After wiping off the powder from the bottle and lid, screwing the lid back very tightly, and shaking (mimicking traveling conditions), I found quite a bit of product gathered in the lid again. This usually does not happen with the full size dermalogica microfoliant bottle, which I have traveled with, and the lid remains clean as long as the lid is screwed on properly.I would recommend buying the full-size dermalogica daily microfoliant, and transferring a small amount into a good travel-size container.   Not worth it.

  This stuff works, I will admit that. My skin looked brighter and smoother after using this product. However, I developed contact dermatitis in the skin around both of my eyes.   Daily Awesomeness

  Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant is the only product I can use on my sensitive skin that doesn't make me break out, have dry skin, or any other adverse reactions. I love this product and I've used it for three years now. It's a nice powder that turns into paste when you add a few drops of water.   excellent if you want to spend the money

  I had to write a review because I was shocked that this cleanser had such a low rating. First, yes, Dermalogica is expensive. (Although it doesn't have to be.) Second of all, I use their products based on what was recommended to me by Dermalogical facialists at their store, rather than picking whatever I like. This is not a harsh cleanser that will make your face sting. It's pleasant smelling and I actually do find it to be effective. Dermalogica actually recommends washing your face twice in a row with this product. I know that might sound like hogwash to get you to use more... but supposedly the first time gets stickier makeup off and the second time gets the remainder. I take the middle ground and use it three times a day-- once at morning, night, and after the gym. Why am I willing to pay way more for Dermalogica rather than going to the local CVS when I'm an incredibly poor graduate student??   Sensitive Skin Exfoliant

  This is hands down the best skin exfoliant I have ever used. I have very sensitive, acne prone skin. In the past when I used an exfoliant it would leave my skin tight and dry as well as irritated and red afterward. I purchased this Dermalogica scrub based on the "Best Beauty Buys" review in Instyle Magazine and am very pleased with the results. The scrub leaves my skin softer and visibly smoother after using. My face is not tight, or irritated. It rinses off clean and easily without leaving behind a pore clogging residue. The scrub sloughs off dead skin cells while also being gentle enough that it can be used 2 or 3 times per week. (I use it twice a week) There is also no offensive fragrance for those who may be sensitive to that.
