  "Body Polish" is the right term: after using this my skin was as silky smooth. The sugar grains aren't as abrasive as salt scrubs so obsessive exfoliators may think that it's not working but wait until you rise and dry off. It's comparable to L'Occitane's Almond Delicious Paste that way--- another excellent gentle scrub, if pricier.Alba products have always held the reputation for smelling heavenly and this sugar scrub is no different. It left my skin smelling soft the entire day.Putting lotion on after a bath with this redundant (and a bit messy) as the natural oils from the polish are left on your skin.   Heavenly-Smooth Results

  This product is a Godsend for extra dry skin. Eczema sufferers can gain quite an improvement in skin texture, and elasticity! Once you try it, you will be perusing the internet for more; I have yet to find it in drug/dept. stores.   Fragrant, effective exfoliator.

  I first used a non-Fake Bake exfoliator, and the results were good. However, I used this the second time around and was much more pleased. My body felt a lot cleaner, and I think it's a great prep exfoliator for the Fake Bake. I think the aloe vera is the key ingredient in this. It also smells amazing! I think it's a great value as well - what I bought before this was about the same price and I personally felt that it was less effective.   I didnt buy this from Amazon I bought it from Walmart. I got it because the Victoria Secret stopped selling the scrub I have used for years and I needed something. I was really surprised at how much I liked it. It had a really clean smell (did not smell like cookies to me). What I liked the most is that as you wash with it, whatever the "scruby" things are just kind of melt and you end up with this nice cleanser just like the Victoria Secret Scrubs did. It leaves you skin soft but I still use Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil on my legs. It is pretty solid when you try and get it out so I just get out about a quarter size in the palm of my hand and add a little water from the shower and make a paste out of it and it works great for me. 5/5 D. It kind of turns into a sud as you begin washing with it and a little goes a long way. I use it to exfoliate before shaving, and I get the softest and smoothest legs ever. Also, my skin is very dry and this helps it to stay moisturized. Many exfoliants are to harsh feeling, but this one turns soft while still doing the job. Healthy Brilliance, 'in-shower exfoliating body polish' also works very well in the bathtub and doesn't leave an oily residue in your tub.   I really like this sugar scrub. For one it doesnt sting the skin at all, gentle enough for the face as well.   St Ives Body Polish is the only thing that my husband has been able to use to stop the itching on his legs. The itching was to the bone. He has gone to doctors for years with no results. He has tried all kinds of prescription lotions and pills, but they do not help. He has such a rash on his legs that itch that now he has scars.   Exfoliates much better than most other body polishes

  The St. Ives She Butter body polish has a wonderful smell that reminds me of one of my favorite body lotions. If your a fan if the Shea Butter scent, you'll love this.When you open the jar you'll find the polish in a very hard state. It's not dry, just so thick that it's almost solid. When it lathers with a bit of water however, it turns into this combination moisturizing exfoliant. It's almost like scrubbing your skin with a body butter with sand in it. Don't plan on trying to use this stuff with just a poofy bath sponge, your going to want to break out a washrag to get the maximum benefits from the exfoliant.It's not quite as coarse as a salt or sugar scrub, but not as wimpy as many other so called body polishes out there. You will definitely get exfoliation of your skin from using this. This works great for pre-treating your skin before using a self tanner because while it does remove the dead skin, it also moisturizes it extremely well.   A must-have for sunless tanning!

  How I use it for the perfect sunless tan: In the shower, after washing with my regular body wash, I scoop it out as needed and just rub it all over my body with my bare hands. (Shower gloves might be helpful with the process, but I haven't tried them). No need to wash it off! The moisture it leaves behind is the perfect amount you need for tanning. (Every sunless tan will turn out 100x better and last longer if you use exfoliated and moisturized skin). Then, I simply towel dry and apply my tanner. I know this is a scrub review, but for those interested, I would HIGHLY recommend using the St. Tropez bronzing mousse and APPLY IT WITH THE MITT! While it costs a pretty penny, it is hands down the best self tanner I've ever used and I've tried them all. It is non-streaky, NOT ORANGE, buildable, perfectly natural, safe for your face, pleasant smell (even when it develops, the "self-tanner" smell is hardly noticeable!)   Most scrubs I've used work fine but I didn't love them. This Tree Hut Shea Body Scrub in Coconut Lime is so nice to use. It smells great. I notice more of the lime smell then coconut.   Never got a refund!!!!!!

  The product was delivered just as promised but the problem was with customer service. I returned the item to Beauty.com as Amazon told me to do. When I did not a refund from them after a month, I called Beauty.com's customer service who said that since I ordered it through Amazon, they couldn't even view my order.
