  I have acne due to sensitive skin--not oily skin, like most people. I've tried lots of different cleansers and 90% of them cause me to break-out. Since starting the Ultracalming cleanser 18 months ago, my break-outs have stopped almost entirely. I'm sold on this product, though I had to create a space in my budget for it.This is a non-foaming cream cleanser, and at first I doubted if was actually cleaning my skin; but after 3 weeks, I couldn't find any black dots on my nose or chin.I use this along with the Daily Microexfoliant, the regular toner (not the soothing protection toner), and the Active Moist moisturizer.   I am suffering with roseca. I have been for 20 years. During the last year it has progressed from the regular redness and dryness to itchy red bumps that look like small pimples. They cover my face near the hairline and behind my ears. This product has all but taken them away!! It was a fantastic find! I was using cortisone cream daily which is not great for the skin. This works better although much more expensive. It is worth every penny to me. I am writing this for people who may be suffering with the same thing I am. This could be your fix.   other reviews claimed this to be runny and not smell very good or like lavender or being fake prduct. Not true, my product came sealed and it is legit. It smells exactly like lavender which is good, since Lavender is great for your skin. The consistency is like a light lotion, which is fine for being a "serum", serums are supposed to be thin, if not liquidy. Serums, like this one are to be used UNDER a moisturizer or Dermalogica Barrier Repair.It is totally working Ive used it for 5 days and my redness is down and its hydrating too. My skin isnt peely.   I have rosacea so my skin is very sensitive. I've been using Murad sensitive skin line which has been okay. I recently switched to Dermalogica UltraCalming line and what a difference! I saw improvement in the redness of my skin within a week. I'm using the Ultracalming cleanser, the Ultracalming serum concentrate and barrier repair every day and love it. I was apprehensive about using the Ultracalming relief masque because masks tends to dry out the skin, but wow it made my skin feel soft and smooth.   Dermalogice Barrier Repair

  I have tried several Dermalogic products and found all of them to be adequate, but not anything spectacular. The barrier repair is the outstanding product in their line. It is a nice product to use under makeup and as a light moisturizer. It is not greasy and has very little fragrance. However, the claim of Utracalming is a bit of a stretch. While it definitely does not aggravate rosacia, it does not reduce redness by any visible measure.   I have used dermalogica for years and love the product, but do not buy from this seller! I paid for this product two months ago and still have yet to receive it! I sent a message a couple of weeks ago stating that it must have been sent to the wrong address and no follow-up!   Best cleanser on the market for sensitive skin in my opinion. I have tried everything from over the counter to department store products and nothing seems to work like this product.   I have rosacea and tend to flare-up at inconvenient times, such as when I am speaking to a roomful of people. This product goes on green and blends into your skin color. It moisturizes and gives spf 20 to your skin, as well as taking away the redness. Then just apply your regular foundation over the top of it. You might think you look a little pale when finished, so add a little blush for color. The rosacea flare-up doesn't show through. This ought to work for anyone with red or blotchy skin. 5/5 Diane M.
