  I hardly ever wear makeup, but I use this product as my daily face wash because it takes great care of my sensitive skin. It's very rich and has a creamy lather, and my skin seems to love it. I haven't found anything better.   This is not particularly good as a face cleanser, though I might use it to scour rust off metal. It is just a tiny bit harsh. Afterwards, your face feels clean of grime.   Good make-up remover

  This product is really good at doing what it says: removing make-up (including stubborn eye make-up). As with nearly every Clinque product, however, it is designed to be used before the 3-step system and with good reason; if you use this as your only cleansing step and follow with nothing more than some moisturizer, your skin will not feel completely clean. I use it only in the evenings and then follow with the basic 3 steps (including soap).   This is my favorite!

  I have very problematic skin so I'm always trying out new products in search of beautiful skin. My sister-in-law recommended Clinique's line of skin care products, so I decided since I'd tried everything else, I'd give this one a shot too! I have been so pleased with the results. A lot of products can feel really harsh on my skin, but this one is nice and mild. I feel refreshed after using it and the results are fantastic! After about a month of using it, my breakouts are almost non-existant and I have fresh looking skin. This is a great face wash and I'd recommend it to anyone!   clinique has changed my skin

  I recently walked in to a Clinique make up counter with some pretty severe skin issues. My skin was cracking and my make up was a blotchy mess. I REALLY looked bad in that tell all department store lighting. I got a consultation and a freemakeover from the woman behind the counter. When she started with a big list of products I would need for skin improvement, I got a little skeptical, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. But I wanted results so I figured I would try. I have to say for my skin this has been one of the best investments I have made. It is so gentle and light, and comes out in a foam. My skin feels like heaven after a facial wash. As was recommended to me, as a compliment after I wash my face, the mild clarifying lotion. This gentle toner debuffs those dead skin cells. These products are wonderful for dry skin, or if you are like me I have severely sensitive oily skin, and this has not made me greasy at all.   Skin feels dry for a few minutes after but so worth it...

  I agree that it makes your (or my anyway) skin feel a bit dry but the reason I say it's worth it is because:1. it's clinique. The best skin care products I've been able to find over the years, for my skin anyway, which is combination if not leaning toward dry.2. It's gentle enough without being too gentle and what I mean by that is that if you went any softer, your face wouldn't feel like it was getting cleaned - you'd feel like you were cleaning it with a lotion, e.g. as skin feels when cleaning with Cetaphil liquid soap. All you need to do is put on your face lotion and/or cream when you get out of the shower and you're good to go. At times I forget to put on lotion and I do notice my skin feeling a tiny bit tight but within 20 minutes or so that feeling is gone.   For the first time in my life I have bought bottle after bottle of a face wash!! It keeps the shine away, but is not drying. It also removes ALL makeup (you can tell by using the clarifying lotion after the soap). I have never had such good skin in my life (finally, woohoo).   Only after you use this...

  ... will you realize that many of your facial cleaners DON'T compare. First time I used this cleaner, the foam turned tan/brown. I thought it was just from the foundation that I had on that day. But, I have used it everyday since, removing my daily foundation and it has never gotten that brown again. I think the first time must have cleaned all the dirt, oil, make-up and what ever else was stuck in my pores. My pores have NEVER been so clean. I don't see blackheads or pimples now, like I did before. I will never use another product again.   Super Clean & Gentle!

  I've always used eye makeup remover to remove my facial makeups, and never thought a gel cleanser would completely remove all the makeups, but when I decided to give this product a try, I was amazed, It worked perfectly. Just wet your face, and gently massage the gel through your face, all the makeup will come off. I have many acne marks on my face, so I use heavy foundations on an everyday basis, but this product removes everything, include those tough water-proof mascaras, you won't see the "panda eyes" after you wash your face.   I've been using for more than 2 years and love it. Started on it with the whole Clinique anti-blemish range.Use:- Twice daily Am/PMPros:- It leaves my skin feeling great after wash. Looking at the mirror, I just know that's how healthy skin should look like.- Comes with bottle that make foam as you dispense it. It's a nice touch.- Contains Salicylic acid - which is what one should look for in anti-acne regiment.Cons:- Don't know how effective it can be. Still get acne now and then. Really shiny/oily T-zone.   This product is awesome; nice texture, great tingling feeling, and very smooth/clean feeling after use. But I'm not sure if you should use it daily, as exfoliators should only be used 2-3x/week because they're too abrasive. So just remember that.   This is a great cleanser: it doesn't leave my skin irritated at all, and I feel that it cleanses really well. No greasy residue or drying has occurred. The cap doesn't screw off--it merely loosens and lets the cleanser out that way.   Unsatisfied

  I used this about a year ago to combat my lifelong battle (war, really,) with my face. Nothing I used ever calmed my sensitivity, and nothing ever got rid of the redness, red spots, irritation, or itchiness. I figured I would get a Clinique Redness Solutions cleanser (made sense to me) to help with the issues, and it didn't do the job for me. It was a pretty good face wash... that's it. It helped with my sensitivity a little bit I guess (hence the two star rating), and it did not get rid of the itchiness or the redness. When I used it, it felt like my skin wasn't getting clean. It was really thick, so you don't really need to use a lot of it, and when you put it on your face it sort-of melts so you feel like you need to use more, but you don't. I used my scrub brush along with it, and it just felt like it left this film of gunk on my face, it was probably the worst cleanser I have ever used.
