Just as gentle as sensitive brush head but deeper clean

Clarisonic recently came out with this new deep pore cleansing brush head saying: "Ideal for cleansing oily skin, large pores or hard to reach areas of the face, such as around the nose. Gentle enough for daily use." Souonds perfect! But my only question was is it as gentle as your sensitive brush head because the normal brush head is too harsh for my face? Well I decided to take the plunge and try it. I am happy to say that I find it not any harsher or rather just as gentle as the sensitive brush head. There is more pulling/stretching of the skin as that it how it does the deep pore cleansing action with some bristles moving in opposite directions! The Oscillating back and forth at a sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second, the two dynamic zones of the Clarisonic® Skin Cleansing System work with the skin, not against it. Outer Zone: Deep cleansing Flexing action between the outer and inner brushes works deep within the pores to loosen dirt and oil. Inner Zone:... 5/5 rejuvenationmd "rejuvenationmd" (La Jolla, CA USA) - See all my reviews, May 4, 2011

    Not Authentic Manufacturer's Product

I ordered these on Amazon (from Trend Marketing) and they arrived in a ridiculously huge box that was clearly made for legal-sized paperwork, not a 4" cube box. In addition, the ridiculously large packaging was completely useless, as one of the heads was broken. But my biggest complaint is that these are either not actual Clarisonic brush heads, or they've been refurbished. I've been using Clarisonic for 6 years now and I have never had brushes that were "fluffy" with the bristles going every different direction.I buy alot of items on Amazon, but I'll bite the bullet and order these directly from Clarisonic from now on... 1/5 J. not actual Clarisonic replacement brush head

I received a twin pack of brush heads that here sold by Fast vibes via Amazon. The brush heads are definitely not made by clarisonic and are much poorer quality. The bristles are longer, softer, more flimsy, and the head itself doesn't fit well in my Clarisonic. They came in a plastic bag instead of a box. In the listing is states that they are by Clarisonic. I though since it said that is was by Clarisonic that it'd actually be a Clarisonic brush. I guess that's what I get by getting a $25 brush head for $37 for a pack of 2. Just beware that these are not the same quality as the actual Clarisonic brush heads. If you're ok with that, then these may be a good deal. 2/5 babs - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Nice upgrade as replacement heads

I do notice the difference with these heads versus the ones that came with my Mia. They key is cleanse twice a day, you will really notice the difference. I go for two rounds and work on my neck/decollete area and am noticing improvements. Before you replace hte heads, take them out weekly to dry as under the brush heads gunk collects below the brush heads. I'm thinking of handing the Mia down to my daughter and upgrading to a face/body Clairsonic. Worth the price vs. expensive facials. Products like skin tone corrector and moisturizers work so much better when using this product. 5/5 et2980 (California) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Good mistake

I ordered these brush heeads by mistake, but I'm glad I did. I've had my Clairsonic for two years and since I've had these brush heads, I feel my face is getting a daily facial and I never skip washing my face anymore. Get these brushes if you need a deep clean after wearing make-up all day or getting the grime off after a day of amusement parks, working out, gardening, ect...I recommend these! 5/5 Over the Rain - See all my reviews This review is from: Clarisonic 20178 Acne Cleansing Replacement Brushhead (Misc.) My pores are smaller!

I started using the Mia with the sensitive brush head and switched to the deep pore brush a month later. I've been using the deep pore brush for 2 weeks now, and I can see my pores are getting smaller. It also helps get all the whiteheads out of my forehead.I use it with the Philosophy Purity cleanser and follow it with Dermalogica's toner and Aveeno moisturizer. The scrubbing feels great! I'm glad I can scrub daily without drying out my face. I would definitely recommend this to people who have large pores, whiteheads, acne, or blackheads. 5/5 Caroline Hemphill - See all my reviews This review is from: Clarisonic 20178 Acne Cleansing Replacement Brushhead (Misc.) First-hand comparison between Clarisonic and Nutra Sonic Sonic Skin Care Systems

If I am going to spend $100 or more on an item, I do a lot of research and I also ask anyone I know if they have the item so I can try it out. I did that here as well. I should start by saying that meant that I had to buy new brushes since I borrowed the Clarisonic from my mom and the Nutra Sonic from one of my friends and it wouldn't be a good thing to use their face brushes in addition to the machine.Cost of replacement brushes:Clarisonic (hereafter referred to as "C") $25 on most sites but this varies with salesNutra Sonic (hereafter referred to as "N")$15 on most sites but this varies with salesEase of switching out brushes:C: EasyN: Not hard, but more difficult than the Clarisonic in comparisonWhy you want a sonic cleaner to begin with it: Sonic wave technology has long been proven as far more than a gimmick, though it may sound that way at first. So Far, So Good!

I purchased the Clarisonic after much frustration with my skin.. I am 34yrs old and my skin is prone to breakouts, and is very congested with small bumps under it, I am always using scrubs and peels in an attempt to bring the bumps to the surface, which has varying results.. often my skin becomes irritated from the scrubs and the result is pretty bad looking, uneven, bumpy skin. I have spent plenty of money over the years on various products that haven't really worked, and facials etc etc. I did use ProActiv - which helped with the acne but I find it just way too drying for prolonged use. Not to mention the hassle of ordering it. I also tried Retin-A prescribed by dermatologist on the bumps.. that sort of works, but it makes the skin irritated and peel and I cannot use it on a regular basis.So.. after reading many good reviews, I decided to give the Clarisonic a try. Figured it would be worth the price if it actually worked. Love it!

Have been using this for 2 weeks and my skin feels super clean and smooth! It's expensive, but I figure by using the brush, at least I no longer have to buy scrubbing creams to exfoliate. It could just be wishful thinking, but I'm convinced it's somehow erasing my laugh lines; will have to watch that over the longer term. And I have sensitive skin, but this is surprisingly gentle -- you don't really scrub your face with it... the sonic technology seems to do the work for you.The only downside is that the beep settings take a while to get used to (you have to set your preferences by setting the beep tones, sort of confusing -- why no real buttons?), not such a big deal once you get it set the way you plan to use it.Positives: Skin feels clean, smooth, and tingly; can use in shower; wrinkle remover?Negatives: ExpensiveOverall, great product. 5/5 drstephens (San Francisco, CA) - See all my reviews Have been using this for 2 weeks and my skin feels super clean and smooth! Great Brush!

I've been using my Clarisonic for about 3 years now, and I still love it. I was an avid user of the sensitive brush, but my sister said I should try the Deep Pore brush. I'm in my late twenties, and have acne prone skin, with large pores. I feel like this brush gets my skin super clean, and helps me get the most out of my face cleanser. I would highly recommend using this brush. It's not hard on your skin, and just leaves it feeling clean and fresh. 5/5 AwesomeTown - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Better than original head!

I ordered the deep pore head as a replacement to the original brush received with my Mia. I had been a bit disappointed in the Mia's performance until I got this brush. It works much better for blackheads in the nose area but not so rough to make your skin feel irritated. I'll buy this head again when it's time to replace. 5/5 SunnySundown (Florida) - See all my reviews I ordered the deep pore head as a replacement to the original brush received with my Mia. The BEST Clarisonic Brush

I have been using my Clarisonic Plus for over a year now with the sensitive brush, the delicate is too soft & the normal too stiff like a body brush. When these came out, I grabbed a couple. I've always had pore issues. This brush really gets into the pores and cleans out all of the makeup & debris that you think isn't there. It's very comfortable to use and I highly suggest using Purity, either the new gel formulation, the regular or the soap bars. My pores have never felt cleaner, my skin care products soak in even quicker than when I used the sensitive brush. Anyone with large pores or oily combination skin should give this brush a try! My pores seem to be shrinking finally & the skin care I spend a lot of $$$ on is working as it should. 5/5 charmedtarte (Maryland, USA) - See all my reviews I have been using my Clarisonic Plus for over a year now with the sensitive brush, the delicate is too soft & the normal too stiff like a body brush. I like the Mia for it's smaller size and portability. My sister has the Clarisonic Plus, but I am much more frugal than she is so I bought the Mia for the better price tag. There are some considerable differences between the 2 products, here are a few:1) One cycle runs for 1 minute then turns off on the Mia. You are able to set the cycle for the Plus for 1 or 2 minutes. Additionally, the Plus beeps when you are supposed to move to a different area of your face. You can always just run the cycle again on the Mia if it's not long enough though.2) The Mia is smaller, though the brushhead is the same diameter. The Mia is also much lighter than the Plus.3) The Mia has a powercord (attaches magnetically to the unit and is waterproof where it attaches), the Plus has a cradle.4) You cannot use the body brush with the Mia (biggest disadvantage for me, as I didn't realize this when I purchased it).All in all, if you are just... 4/5 pistachiko - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I'm worth it! Clarisonic is a skin's best friend.

I have been hearing such good things about the Clarisonic, I had to see for myself. I had researched, and people felt the Mia was easier to handle, more reasonably priced and worked just as well as the more expensive models. After a month of use, I can honestly state my skin is feeling like silk. One of the articles I read about the Clarisonic stated that the cleansing action allows your moisturizers to be better absorbed into the skin, since the gentle exfoliation unblocks the pores and gets down to the fresh, clean skin.I love the fact that the waterproof Mia goes into the shower, and I can have a luxurious facial spa treatment while my hair conditioner works. It's such a nice feeling that it's almost disappointing when the unit automatically goes off after 1 minute. The fancier, more expensive Clarisonic models beep every few seconds to let you know to move to a new area. Clarisonic Mia - review for acne

Summary:My skin problems probably aren't going to be resolved by anything short of prescription medication, so all I expected from the Mia was thorough cleaning and maybe some help with blackheads. The Mia's more than met those expectations. I'll be replacing it if/when it stops working and I definitely recommend it if you have the money - but don't expect miracles for severe acne.Details:I'm Asian (Filipino/Chinese) with a medium-olive skin tone. I consider my skin to be fairly strong - toners and AHA products tingle slightly but don't hurt, and I don't have any fine lines or wrinkles at age 38. My skin's very oily and there's a lot of hyperpigmentation. I have severe adult-onset acne due to hormone imbalance - milia on my chin, blackheads on my nose, cystic acne frequently on my cheeks and jawline and infrequently on my forehead (gets worse based on my monthly cycle), and infrequent whiteheads anywhere. My current skin care regimen... 4/5 Verruca (Pennsylvania, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System - White (Misc.) My skin's very oily and there's a lot of hyperpigmentation. 4/5 Verruca (Pennsylvania, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System - White (Misc.) Clarisonic Spot Therapy Brush Head

The spot therapy attachment goes on the clarisonic pro or deluxe models and is for use on the body only. It does a great job of getting all the "ickies" off of your chest, elbows and knees. If you already own a clarisonic and have not tried this, I recommend you do. I don't use it too often, but the brush really helps just smooth out my body skin complexion! 5/5 Kayla - See all my reviews This review is from: Clarisonic Body Brush Replacement Head (Health and Beauty) The spot therapy attachment goes on the clarisonic pro or deluxe models and is for use on the body only. My wife says it really makes her skin feel fresh and smooth. I honestly think her skin does look even better. The thing sure holds a charge.

2/5 babs - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Cheaper than buying from manufacturer

My wife uses the Clarisonic Mia. She needed a new head so I did some comparison shopping and Amazon's were the cheapest. INVESTMENT

Think of how much $ you've spent over the years on cleansers, scrubbers, etc...think about it, seriously think about it..b/c after using this product, it made me think of how much I've wasted and should have spent it on this product. WHY you ask...No matter how expensive/cheap/raved about cleanser I've used, nothing really cleaned my face. It would either dry it up, leave some type of a residue, or just irritated my skin. After years of trial and error, I gave up, and stuck to good ol fashion water and oil of olay. I'm blessed with good skin, but I still have my problem areas. I got this as a gift. VERY GLAD I did.I was skeptical. I was hesitant and kinda scoffed at the idea that a rotating brush could do much for me. I felt my skin before I used the product, pretty darn smooth. I tested it after I used the product - wow, it made my before skin feel like sand paper. I just knew that it cleaned out buildup of product (makeup, cleanser, lotion, whatever) because my skin... 5/5 KYP (Lakewood, CO United States) - See all my reviews, March 21, 2010

    Clarisonic Pro Facial Brush

This product is one of the best things I've ever bought for myself... It does exactly what it says: cleans your skin better than you ever thought you could, mildly exfoliates, and just makes your skin look fabulous. I can also tell it is softening my fine lines on my forehead (which are just starting). Once you use a clarisonic, you'll never go back to washing your face the regular way. I really like the Pro better than the one my friend bought awhile ago, b/c I changed it to a two minute timer b/c I have very oily skin, and I also like to be able to customize the speed (high after the gym, normal on a regular day). A FANTASTIC buy... a must for anyone who is looking for a boost to their facial skin. Plus, if you buy the spot attachment, you can use it on rough places like your upper chest, elbows, and knees (it has a special speed built in for body areas). 5/5 Kayla - See all my reviews This review is from: Clarisonic Pro Professional 4-Speed Skin Care System, White (Health and Beauty) This product is one of the best things I've ever bought for myself... good product

The benefits of this product can be seen immediately. You will experience softer, smoother skin after the first use and your face will really look and feel squeaky clean. My pimples don't last as long (sometimes disappear in less than 24 hours which never happened before), and my expensive skin care products are more effective. The real reason for the purchase was a bunch of blackheads on my chin and they are diminishing in quantity. Also they are more brown now than black which I could see after using a Biore strip. Hopefully they will eventually disappear. I recommend this product. 5/5 Lealbr (N. Texas) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
