  Keepin' it simple and basic

  I had what turned out to be toe fungus on my left big toe. I had lost the nail three or four times over a period of a few years. Each new nail would eventually "blister" at the base then crack and spit and loosen to the point of falling off. I finally did some web research and found some "hi-end" fancy named fungus treatments, all quite expensive. What I noticed is that they kept touting that they had "tree tea oil" in them. So I mused, this seems to be the magic curing ingredient these fancy treatments were depending on. I wondered if this tree tea oil was available on it own. Seems to me that this "tree tea oil" is the stuff I really need. Sure enough, it was available, and for a fraction of the price of the fancy names that "included" it. I ordered bottle and treated my toe diligently EVERY morning with the oil, applying it with a Q-tip for about two months, and it is now completely cured with a strong clear normal new nail.   I am 45, my hair is thin and colored and my scalp is oily. I was confused as to which would be the best shampoo to use on my hair under these circumstances. While visiting my daughter who is currently in beauty school she did a lot of bottle reading before she recommended this product to me. And OMG I can't imagine ever going back to regular ole store bought shampoos!   Dandruff Be Gone!

  My hair stylist first turned me on to this shampoo and conditioner. She noticed that I had a lot of dandruff and had success with these products in the past. She used these simultaneously in combination with some other shampoos and conditioners and we could both tell the difference the first time. It wasn't long before I was purchasing this product for use at home as well. I intially bought smaller bottles but this time around, I went with the full liter sizes. I expect them to last a very long time, so I feel the price is justified.As an African American woman with both relaxed and color treated hair and a dandruff problem, I woulld highly recommend this to others like me. I barely see dandruff anymore and I know it's a result of using these products. However, I caution that I wouldn't use the Paul Mitchell products alone.   All tea tree oils are not created equal. I find that there is a cosmetic grade and a grade that is more suited to be used in cleaning and disinfecting. I find this has to do with where the oil originated. I first fell in love with Aura Cacia's tea tree oil and have used it in many of my aromatherapy products and natural home remedies.   I like having a natural alternative to harsh acne treatments. This is great... I just apply with a Q-tip and pimples that I can feel under the skin sometimes heal without coming to the surface. It doesn't dry out my skin unless I apply it more than twice a day on consecutive days.   I've used a variety of hair products before I settled on this one:REEGIS DesignLine Sculpting Mud (Light Hold), American Crew Fiber, American Crew Forming Cream, and various Pomade brands. The design light mud smelled bad and wasn't a strong enough hold; it also left more colored streaks. American Crew Fiber was better, but hard to manipulate and gave you very little time to style before being unmanageable; smell was better, but still not great. The forming cream was more manageable, but didn't hold strong, and left a shiny look similar to pomade based products. I dislike all pomade products which leave my hair greasy with a wet/shiny look.   I bought this because I have a very oily scalp. I had been told that Tea Trea has drying effects. That truly is the case with this shampoo. It takes quite a lot of shampoo to get a good lather on medium long hair, neeedless to say the bottle didn't last very long.   A Unique Shampoo/Conditioner Duo

  I've used different tea tree shampoos in the past, so I knew I'd probably like this brand. The conditioner came as a bonus so I'd figured I'd give it a try. As it turned out, this combo is one of the nicest sets I've ever used and I have to recommend it not only for effectiveness (it does a great job of cleansing and conditioning without drying out my hair), but also for its sensory experience.   At first i was apprehensive about putting oil on my skin since i have extremely oily/acne prone skin. I have a few pimples on my cheeks that hurt so much that sometimes i had to wake up in the middle of the night due to the pain i felt when i turned my face on the pillow. So i decided to give it a try and i order this and i have to say wow.... I applied a drop on a cotton swab directly to the pimples.   I have acne prone skin that is also very sensitive. I'm oily in summer and normal/dry in winter. Using this product in conjunction with the Thoroughly Clean wash with tea tree and awapuhi has worked wonders for my skin. The pads help control oil and safely heal acne overnight. It does smell awful, but when it's rinsed, there's no residual smell. In the summer, when I'm really oily, I use the pads twice a day (morning and night) with each wash. In the winter, I have to reduce use to once at night.   Lacks a built-in dropper...

  This IS 100% Tea Tree oil. Great product, as I'd expect from NOW. I own other essential oils of theirs as well. One gripe I have about this, however: NO DROPPER with this 4 oz bottle! This is the first 4 oz bottle I've bought from them of any kind of essential oil. The others I own are 1 oz bottles, and have built-in tops for getting one drop at a time. Lacking that is NOT A GOOD THING FOR ME!! I generally only use a few drops at a time, and I'm extraordinarily clumsy and have shaky hands! Not having expected the bottle to lack that special top, I was a bit annoyed at having to seek out a separate dropper so I could use this. Oh well. I have one now, but I'm also forewarned. I'm assuming the other 4 oz bottles of essential oil lack the special drop-tops as well. I wonder why? The assumption that if I buy this much as a time I must use larger quantities at once?Do some research on its properties and uses if you haven't already. This oil is absolutely incredible!   100% pure?

  i use this stuff for my face. it's refreshing an a great antiseptic. i was kind of skeptic about such a large bottle for such a low price, and it just doesn't feel 100% pure. it feels a little watered down and it smells like there might be some chemical filler. i didn't really have any negative response to it, but some people are really picky about their natural oils. 3/5 C.   I was concerned this might be diluted given the price (although NOW is a very good brand for nutrition supplements, good price and quality, I had not bought any of their essential oils before).   Every Day Wash

  This is alright as an everday light wash, and does its job alright. My skin is also very dry, so I use the Tea Tree exfoliant every other day, and Vitamin E moisturizers.
