  I had pretty good skin to start with but there were some things I wanted to improve. Not only did this product improve the items I wanted to address but it also had some other benefits.***The texture of the skin in my tear troughs under my eyes was crepe like and would make the concealer look "cakey". The skin texture has been dramatically improved. The surprise is that my under eye circles almost invisible now. I don't even need to put on concealer anymore.***When I smile I would get a bunch of wrinkles under my left eye. There was one deep wrinkle and the other finer wrinkles. Those fine wrinkles are gone and the deep wrinkle is much less noticeable.***I had orange peel texture on my lower cheeks and around my mouth. Much of this is now gone.   VERY pleased

  I started having problems with adult onset acne at about age 25 - am now 40. Have tried everything - oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, retin-a, etc. etc. Despite trying numerous dermatologists, I never got what I considered good results - just a three minute visit and a couple of scripts. Decided to try this - at the price, nothing to lose. Man am I pleased. For the first time, acne is resolved (I have used the peel once a week for about six weeks). My scarring is improved and my skin tone is becoming much more even. Even improving my melasma. I would highly recommend this product. Word of caution.   Definatly works!!

  At first i was skeptical of this acid peel, but changed my mind soon after.I took before photos to see the change the peel would have on my face, and its only been about 4 weeks, but i will take pics soon of the after results after 6 weeks.Im 20, male, white, with slightly oily skin, and acne that sometimes turns horrible on me and makes cysts only on cheeks though. One cyst next to my eye and eyebrow left a bad scar.This stuff does tingle a bit, but very bearable. Used first for 2 mins, and had no effect, upped it to 4, same result. Used the full 8 mins the next day, started to see improvements. I modified the instructions a bit because my skin is used to exfoliations by 10% benzoil peroxide which only made pimples smaller and face a bit dry.I used every other day for the full 8 mins every time. But i suggest follow their instructions first before adjusting it. No down time here, and no redness like some people mentioned, and i dont apply... 4/5 V.   WOW..AGE SPOTS & ACNE SCARS FINALLY GONE!!

  Hi. I am 40 years old and battled cyctic acne in my teens up to my twentys which left me with some bad scars . The scars turned very dark brown from tanning which made them uglier! Please believe me when I tell you that I tried EVERY fade cream, bleaching product, etc etc... NOTHING worked! This peel in combination with the 70% Glycolic peel has removed them completely! Gone, Gone , Gone my face is flawless! I used to have to use ALOT of concealer and foundation, which sucks because the older I get the worse wearing alot of makeup looked.ok, This is how I did it... I first washed my face, wiped the scared areas with an alcohol soaked cotton pad ( the kind at the drugstore ) Afterwards I soaked the a pad with first the salycidic peel stuff and I patted it on the scars, do not rub! I repeated this until it frosted over ( it will get a white type coating on it) it took 3 passes.   Although it works, you must be very careful! I am a licensed professional and I received a few minor burns from overlapping so be very careful not to repeat my mistake. In addition, apply a barrier of vaseline near the corners of your mouth, noise, eyes and under your eyes.....I forgot that too. lol I guess in my zeal to use the product, I temporarily loss my mind. However, this product did exactly what it was it was designed to do. 1 week after my 1st treatment, I was free of several stubborn blemishes that have plagued me for months.   My skin and I haven't been on speaking terms for years. Horrible, brutal, stubborn, disfiguring cystic acne, so viciously tenacious that I had to go through...yes, count 'em...not one, but TWO rounds of Accutane to rid my self of it, and I STILL get a nice cyst on my back or chest every once in a while.   I always tend to stay away from chemical peels because of the horror stories I hear and because I have fair, oily, acne prone skin.I purchased the 35% peel just to try it; to see if I'm missing anything. I'm sorry I didn't have the guts to try it sooner. :o)It is absolutely fantastic. I had a couple of breakouts I could not, for the life of me, get rid of. I put this on with a cotton ball, and I did wait the full 4 minutes; it tingled, but did not burn in any way. I washed it off and thought "okay, no miracles here". My face did feel smoother but that's about it.The next two days I noticed quite the improvement. My chin cleared up and my face was, again, smoother, and more even and most importantly, no breakouts.   Great product. It is your first chemical peel with training wheels

  I have been using this product for a month to treat hyperpigmentation from pregnancy. I think the best way to apply this product is with a fan brush, with that being said I purchased my brush from a local craft store for $3 & it worked great. This product is a gel, but not in a thick hair gel sort of way, this product has the consistency of pancake syrup. If you apply this product & find it running into your eyes or down your face you are applying way too much product, all I needed was about a nickel sized amount of this gel to cover my whole face. I use the product every 5 to 7 days, and even though they send a small bottle that is enough for many applications.It is not advised that you exfoliate your skin prior to using this product.   Ok I am actually going to view the entire system on the Obagi cleanser so look for that review as well. First, let me say I know the difference between a seller rating and a product review.   I'm hooked!

  I have been using this product for about 3 weeks and literally have not had a single pimple the entire time. I was formerly using a tea tree face wash, which did seem to help but was nowhere near as effective as this stuff. I have also tried salicylic spot treatment but that really only worked after a breakout had already begun whereas this stuff seems more preventative. i generally have oily skin that has scarring and these seemed to be my trouble areas. in conjunction with this product I would super-highly recommend getting the clarisonic Mia or the regular one if you can afford it!   I absolutely love this stuff!!!! This is the BEST Astringent I've EVER used!!!! You can actually feel this stuff working. You wash your face and then put some of the toner (astringent) on your face. If you walk around if feels like a cool, kind of like menthol (you know when you put on Noxzema or something on your face and you can feel the menthol working?), breeze in your pores the faster you walk the cooler it feels. That's my favorite part walking around feeling the coolness in my pores! Yeah I'm weird, but that's how I know its working. It helped reduced the size of my pores on my nose, along with keep the oil in my T-zone down, which is great because I've tried a lot of things and they didn't work too well for me, like even Proactiv.   Good Treatment with Current Regimen

  I have to preface this review with the fact that I use other skin care and health products namely Retin-A Micro, b-control, and a good moisturization regimen. Also, I have sensitive and oily skin. Moreover, I have medium-dark brown skin (for a color reference it would be Bare Escentual's golden dark), so for those with skin like mine I know how important it is to hear from someone like me.For those who have not ever had a peel I would not recommend starting out with this. The skin needs time to acclimate to salicylic acid like any strong acid. However, for those who have been getting peels of %10 or more I would recommend using this peel. Follow the directions precisely. This skin laboratory peel does not self neutralize (like perfect peel, which is much like the professional peels), so you can time it to where your skin has more absorption. Basically, the longer you keep it on the more concentrated the peel gets (if you will).   I bought 3 items from Skin Laboratory: a) Lactic 35% & Glycolic 25% Combination Acid Gel Peel, b) Glycolic Acid 35% Gel Peel, c) Salicylic Acid 20% Gel Peel.I have used each peel for 4 weeks, rest 1 week in between, which is important to avoid sensitivity problem. The result from the combo is the worst. If you have acne, Salicylic Acid 20% Gel Peel works perfectly. It clears my occasional spots and whiteheads instantly.   Not really a gel, more liquid. Mild tingling as expected with an acid. It is getting difficult to find Salicylic Acid in decent strengths OTC, so I made this choice. Directions are good. I may mix it with aloe vera gel to make a gel for PM spot use. Good product--be sure to follow directions, this is not like the OTC products.   haven't seen results

  I got this stuff for my feet. Long-story-short, I have plantar warts on my soles because of an HPV infection I picked up from a locker room (wear flip-flops everyone). The warts are very itchy, and they spread into patches. After researching, I found that an effective treatment for plantar warts is to use a Salicylic Acid peel. I didn't want to spend $10 a bottle for the acne stuff you can get in the store. I needed something stronger, so I ordered this stuff and it works great.   Awesome Product

  This stuff is great! After trying several other over the counter wart removers, my child's pediatrician recommended Duofilm, since the freezing wasn't doing the job either. This wart was stubborn. I wanted my child's wart removed before school started and I started applying this about 2 weeks prior to that day. I did what the other reviewer did by peeling off the layers with tweezers every other day and I couldn't believe my eyes! The wart was finally going away after trying so many products. When school started, my child only had a little dot there and was feeling very confident. I put the Duofilm on in the morning and just before bedtime. It comes with little patch covers but they didn't stay on so I just got some clear band-aids to cover the area while it healed. The applicator tip is just a plastic tip that you drop the Duofilm from. There are no brushes that get hard or droppers that get clogged.   My daughter had a cluster of at least 14 warts on her foot with black dots! I took her to the doctor and he recommended this duofilm. I put this on her foot every day. On the 4th day I started picking at it......to remove it. Each day we would pick at it and apply duofilm! Within 2 WEEKS........she was wart free!!!! All the websites I have read said that it would take 4-6 weeks to remove! My daughter's warts were bad and layer after layer!!!   I had a very large wart on my foot and many smaller warts on both of my feet. I used the Duofilm daily. Eventually I was able to pick at and remove the smaller warts one by one. The larger wart eventually cleared up. I had had that larger wart for over 2 years. Through pairing and freezing and other solutions, the large wart remained.   A must for your skin if you use a peel

  I started with having peels done at a salon and decided I'd rather do them at home. I felt I need a ph balancer for the skin after the peel and this is the one I chose. So far I'm very happy with the results and feel it's doing just what it's supposed to do.   This is a nice product. It smells good, feels good, etc. But Whatever you do, do not confuse this product with something that can neutralize Glycolic acid at 30% or higher. herbs and botanicals are nice and all, but when you are dealing with acids, it comes down to basic chemistry and that does not change. Use baking soda to neutralize the acid!!!! then, if you want, use this product as a nice toner or skin calmer the next day when redness appears.   Lactic Acid Peel

  I was nervous about doing a chemical peel on my face without a specialist around so I bought one of the gentler formulas to use on my face. I was hoping just to exfoliate some of the dullness from my skin with this, but was surprised at just how much of a difference it made to my facial skin.My boyfriend who never noticed when I had 6" of hair cut off and my hair dyed from dark brown to red noticed actually asked me what I was doing to my skin the day after I first used this. He said I looked less tired and happier.   i am an african american/native american woman with melasma and dark spots from different skin issues. i am a fair skinned woman so everything show on me. I tried the fade creams and finally coughed up money for tri-luma. on it's own, it's ok, but with this lactic acid peel it is FANTASTIC. i don't have sensitive skin, so i use my peel 3 times a week, followed by the tri luma cream. i moisturize and stay out of the sun as much as i can. i have been using it for 3 weeks and my results are great. i would recommend this for people looking for a solution to their hyperpigmentation issues. my skin is very soft now and every week i notice a difference. i will use it for another 3 weeks and take a break. the peel smells kinda funny (it is sour milk smelling) but it is less harsh than the glycolic which i have used as well. i recommend it. for the price, you can't beat it. 5/5 A.
