  Proactiv has worked for me

  When I was younger I used more intense medications (prescription mostly) and they would make my skin beat red and turn it so dry and flaky that it wasn't even worth it in the end. Proactive has never had this type of effect on me and I consider myself to have very sensitive skin. Since I have such sensitive skin, my skin tends to have a bit of redness in general, but I also take Inositol powder which makes it appear more 'pink' and bright than anything else. Proactiv makes my skin very smooth and even toned and I NEVER have a breakout while using Proactiv along with the inositol.If you have sensitive skin, I also highly recommend Inositol powder, . It's something I discovered a couple years ago, works from the inside as the procativ attacks the acne from the surface.   Works well but....

  Acne is complicated and varies from person to person.While this product may not work for some, it worked for me.I've had acne since I was 16 (I am now 22) and I tried Proactiv when I was 19 on and off. Sometimes, it would work, sometimes my acne is very stubborn and Proactiv wasn't very effective.   Cleared acne in 10 days

  I had always wanted to give Proactive a try. There seems to be a lot of hype surrounding this product so I figured I'd give it a shot. I had a problem with acne on and off for years. I thought it would be a thing of the past when I became an adult but I guess not. I read reviews of several people who saw outstanding results when they combined the Proactiv system with an acne pill called Clearzine. So I decided to do the same. I did not expect this stuff to work so well in a month's time, much less the 10 days it took to completely wipe out my acne.   The seller (R & M Shop) makes it look as if the kit is bigger than normal as they should if they are going to OVER CHARGE customers!On Amazon through various sellers, the same kit is for sale for $39.95. This kit was $52.00! Our refining mask that we received is only 1oz. not the 2.5oz that we were supposed to get. The fact that it says a 2 month supply is not true.   The delivery was on time, and prompt. The product was not the new version of Proactiv, but instead it was the old version.   Worth the price

  My skin is acne prone and I have tried many things in the past to make it clear up, but nothing has worked. At first Proactiv was a little irritating and drying for me. Word of advice, don't get it near your eyes because the cleanser does sting. The 3 step worked right away for me, within a couple weeks my skin started getting clear and brighter. Occasionally I have minor breakouts, but nothing compared to before starting this kit. It's been a year now and I've never used any of the other products in the line, except this 3 piece kit and another moisturizer. The kit alone dries out my skin, so I use a separate moisturizer and SPF. The price is a little high for this kit, but here on Amazon I compared to the Proactiv site and another site who also sell these products and this price here is most competitive. I like being able to purchase what I need instead of an entire kit at one time. A friend recommended Proactiv to me.   Very very good product when it comes to eliminating pimples, blemishes and blackheads. It works very well.   WTF????????

  This is definitely a RIP OFF! I ordered this thinking they were normal size bottles and what I got was sample sized! And I paid $30.00 for this?? Secondly, I didn't order this directly from ProActiv,..yet that is where the shipment came from. That's not all,..inside I got a Invoice marked "This is not a Bill" telling me they charged my card 9.95 + ..70 shipping and handling,..so I end up paying $40.65 cents for samples? And it looks like they signed me up for auto ship again which I do not want!! I used to get auto ship several years ago and decided I didn't want to do that any longer,..that's why I purchased from Amazon! I never gave any one permission to bill me and ship to me monthly for this stuff. However the number that ProActiv has is an old charge card number which I no longer have,..so these people I ordered from better not give out my current number.I am calling this 800 number right now and cancelling!   Allergic!

  Very disappointed, was extremely allergic to the mask- swelling, redness, itchy, dryness for a week. Tried the 3 steps without the mask on a patch of skin to see if that would work, but eye was swollen again. Customer service did offer to send me the sensitive formula, which was nice, but I am a little hesitant.   Best zip zapper I've found

  I've tried the Proactiv products before and have found them to work, but not to be as great as the informacials make it appear. I ordered this product for the first time recently and am amazed at how great it works. The day I received the product, I felt a deep and under the skin zip growing on my cheek. I applied this product three times and the zip rapidly dried up and was almost gone within 24 hours. It dries up acne better than any other product I've tried, even prescription strength. Great for spot treating those deep and troublesome pimples that are hard to get rid of.   This product has really helped my teenage daughter battle her outbreaks. With just the Proactiv Skincare System alone, she was still having some hot-spots; however, after using the Blemish Treatment (consistently), she has very few problem areas.   Doesn't work for moderate adult acne

  I tried this product out of desperation. I'm in my late 20's and have had moderate acne since I was a teen and nothing ever really works long term. I really wanted to give this a treatment a solid chance so I made sure I followed the directions exactly. I washed my face twice a day with step one and followed it with step two each time. During the day I would use their super light moisturizer and did the mask 3 times each week (putting it on all over my face and letting it set for 20 minutes before rinsing). I used the product precisely for two weeks and didn't have very good results. My small bumps that didn't come to a head were minimized so I could see this working for someone with mild acne. I still continued to get new white heads and large red pimples the entire time.   I bought this product at a booth in our local mall for my 12 year old daughter. She was having some seriousbreakouts and having tried SO- many things for my own skin, I was skeptical of what the ads touted but gave it a try.   I don't know what is worse, being left on hold for about half an hour last week by their customer support hotline and eventually giving up! Or having the line answer by some incompetent yo-yo giving you the third degree ("Why did you order it if you were going to decide to return it!")   Works well.

  Got this set as a way to save some money on the Proactiv system. Came quickly and was exactly as pictured and described on the site. Compared the bottles with the ones I got most recently from Proactiv and they are identical in labeling and ingredients. They are sealed in plastic just like they are when they come from Proactiv, they are just not in the box like they would be from Proactiv.As far as how well this product works, it works well for me. I have been using it for over one year and found that immediately from the first use my skin felt softer and looked brighter. It cleared up my blackheads around my nose within a month. It took about three months to see my acne begin to really fade away. I still get breakouts from time to time but they are smaller and less severe than they were before and they clear up quicker. I use all three products twice a day every single day.   Works great

  I had seen tv commercials about Proactiv and it was recommended by our family doctor for my 13 year old daughter's recently forming acne problems. I did some research and found most people like the product but don't like dealing with the manufacturer because they force you to get a subscription and make it difficult to cancel. The perfect solution, I order this 120 day supply from Amazon and when it's almost used up, I order again. My daughter loves it and in the year or so since she's been using it we've seen her acne problem go from moderate to virtually nothing. It's around $20 a month so if you can get around the price, then I would highly recommend giving it a try. Proactiv sells other accompanying things but our experience has been that the 3 step set I'm reviewing is completely satisfactory for what we need. 5/5 R.   A highly effective ance treatment product, but...

  Proaciv is a highly effective acne treatment brand but, here's the catch - you have to keep at it. Firstly, it takes a few weeks before you see significant results. This is the case for any acne treatment product really - you just HAVE to be consistent and give it time. So, folks looking for a quick solution to their problem (i.e. - clearing up your skin in time for prom or a wedding, for example) will be disappointed.Secondly, it is not a magic potion capable of "curing" acne. Once you stop using the product, your acne will return unless you take active steps to maintain the health of your skin. It is often believed that merely using a product can be the only change made to help your skin. Clear skin is about more than just using the right brands.... having clear skin is about understanding skin.Overall, I'd say use this product if you can afford to consistently buy it.   SUPER price for Giant-Sized Proactiv

  This is really a GREAT price for the giant sized proactiv. I've seen it on QVC for about 5 dollars less (the giant sized) so you may want to check there as well.Don't bother with the smaller sizes unless you need to buy them for air-travel; these are too big and might be thrown out if you try to take them on a carry-on-- you don't want that!Just invest in these larger sizes and I think you'll be very happy. The cleanser and the repairing lotion always goes first for me, I don't use the toner as much. But It's still cheaper for me to buy the kit then bother with the smaller individual sizes.Proactiv works for me. It doesn't work overnight, but it really works. And it doesn't dry out my dry/sensitive skin.   Doesn't Help Severe Acne, But May Help You Develop a Hygiene Routine

  My teenaged son has had a bad case of acne for more than a year now. We've tried a variety of different medicines, one of which actually made his acne worse!It seems like nothing we tried worked, so after hearing several friends recommend Proactiv, we decided to take the plunge and buy a 2-month supply, even though it's a little expensive. After using it for several weeks now, we've seen a very slight improvement in our son's acne, but nothing major.We finally got fed up with all of the over the counter stuff and decided to visit our pediatrician. He told us that our son had 3-4 level acne on the Pillsbury scale which classifies the severity of acne from 1 to 4. Our doctor said that what's in Proactiv isn't really that much different than what's in most of the other over the counter products. He also said that the main reason people who used it showed some improvement is because it motivated people to be regular in their acne hygiene routine - something... 2/5 Fr.
