  Great Cleanser when used with Eye Makeup Remover & Jan Marini BioClear Cream

  This is NOT for use to remove eye makeup, as it has a Bioglycolic exfoliant (like alpha-hydroxy, it's acidic), so I've been using a vegan tea-tree oil eye makeup remover and then cleanse my face and neck with Jan Marini's Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser. It is moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. I've been using it with the BioClear cream, I bought them from this seller together and I think they work really well together. I've noticed a huge difference in the brightness, smoothness and youthfulness of my skin and I've been using these products for about 3 weeks consistently now. It makes me love to wash my face! TIP FROM MY ESTHETICIAN: Use a washcloth when washing your face to make sure all the residue is off - if you just splash water to rinse your face, you'll leave residue on your skin, which makes it harder for the skin to absorb your moisturizer.   THE BEST PRODUCT FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN!

  I have tried every product on the market, from Pro-Active to M.A.C. to Yonka, etc, etc. I had a facial with the Jan Marini facial cleanser about 6 months ago and couldn't believe how great my skin looked and felt in just one use. Of course I bought a bottle of the cleanser and after six months of use, my skin looks better than it has in my entire life. I never get acne anymore, my old acne scars are almost gone, my skin tone is bright and even and my pores look so small now. This product has been nothing short of a miracle for my skin. I love that one bottle lasts forever, since I only have to use two pumps to wash my face/neck thoroughly and my skin feels so clean every time I use it.   The ingredients are very harsh

  I have used this cleanser on and off because I am not sure about how I feel about it yet.In terms of what I do like, my skin is not dried out and seems more radiant and clear. But most acids will do that. My skin seems to prefer it, if I use this cleanser 2x a week or when I look tired and dull. In other words, it makes a great exfoliator.I cannot say it has cleared up my skin as it does cause some minor irritation and I have broken out since using the product. I generally tolerate acids very well. Most AHA/BHA products do the same thing and it is just a matter of finding one you like.The biggest issues I have with Jan Marini in particular are the harsh sulphates and parabens. Aside from the acid, the rest of the ingredients are known for being harsh and undesirable. Your skin absorbs everything you put on it.   This product was recommended to me by an esthetician after she gave me a facial. It is supposed to help slough off dead skin cells, I believe.   First off let me say I was quite the skeptic when i heard about this face wash. I always used the DDF 5% Glycolic face wash and one day i decided to youtube and google other face washes with Glycolic acid. This one came up, and it had great reviews. I decided to change things up a bit and I'm glad I did. I received my order shortly after placing my order and put it to the test once it finally arrived, i was impressed at how well it worked. I immediately felt a stinging sensation all over my face, but it wasn't a bad sting it was more of a slight sensation and I knew it was working.   Cleared and Brightened my skin!

  I just noticed in the last year or so that my skin (I'm 31) was looking dull, I saw new lines around my eyes and had problems with dryness. I went for a facial and my esthetician recommended Jan Marini products when I told her about my skin concerns. She sent me home with a sample of the Bioglycloic (BioClear?) Cleanser and the Bioglycolic Bioclear cream. I noticed an immediate difference and could feel the products' effect as I used them; a tingly sensation meant the exfoliants were working. They exfoliated and moisturized at the same time. My skin looks younger with less-visible lines, is noticeably brighter, and the congestion I used to deal with, particularly around my nose, mouth and under-eye area have improved radically in only 3 weeks of use.   My aesthetician recommended this cream to me when I complained that my skin was looking dull and old (I'm 35). She gave me a small sample and within a few days my skin looked brighter and more youthful. It really was an incredible difference. My skin is so clear and young looking, I can still pass for 28! It is expensive, but the jar lasts a long time. You only need a little dab of cream, it goes a long way. It is a very light cream, cream doesn't even seem like the right word to describe the consistency. It's very light and absorbs right into the skin. I only put it on at night, but you could easily wear it under makeup or even under your daytime moisturizer.   Stings but works better than anything.

  The stinging associated with this product is not mild but about akin to a slap in the face. That said, I will happily buy it again.How it works - you slather it on your skin, it burns like hell, and within moments you see a difference. Breakout related inflammation flattens out. Your skin appears more matte. For a couple weeks from first use, your skin will 'purge' - you may see increased breakouts as your pores are unclogged. I had been told this would happen so managed to stick with the product past this period. You'll be thankful if you do. Also, during this period you find the product treats the breakouts as fast as they occur.After the purging, you find that use of the lotion reduces breakouts within a day. Within a couple weeks any fine lines are reduced. Within a month, your skin tone is significantly more even and breakouts are very much diminished.I've used a lot of products.   I LOVE this product. I have been using it for about 2 yrs now and won't go without it. I am dealing with aging skin with some wrinkles. All my life I have struggled with acne and this helps to keep it under control.I love that it goes on smooth and dries quickly.   Great product - dreadful dispenser!

  Jan Marini C Esta Serum is an excellent product and really smoothes the skin. However, the new packaging is a disaster. The dropper system used to work a treat. You could draw it up into the syringe and place a few strategic drops on your face. Spread it on - job done. Now, they've put it in a pump dispenser. Big mistake - this is a liquid, not a cream, and, of course, when you press the pump it squirts and splats all over your hand - or, worse still, escapes between your fingers - or, as happened to me yesterday, it goes off at an angle and squirts all over the mirror! If you press it again, you get too much - so, all in all, there's a lot of wastage, which, at this price, doesn't make me very happy. Bring back the dropper bottle - if it ain't broke, why fix it??   Great C-serum, vendor not so great

  I love the Jan Marini facial c-serum & have used the product for many years. It goes on smooth & gets rid of the dry skin feeling immediately. This product helps to keep my skin younger looking. I teach outside & this product helps to protect my skin from the harmful effects of sun exposure. I get lots of compliments on how nice my skin is & what my secret is & always mention this product.However, I don't think that I can recommend this vendor (Amazon is good) but the actual vendor I ordered from has not been that good to deal with. The 1st container or dispenser did not work correctly & they asked me to mail it back & insure it with my own money. To me if they sent a defective product then they should back it up & send me a return label to exchange it with.   Really Liking It

  This is a first time purchase for me. I use other products by Jan Marini and thought I would try this one for an all over face cream. I have fair skin that tends to be dry in the winter. I really like this product. It goes on great and you do not have to use a lot at one time. A dime size can really go over your whole face. I love that its not greasy and that when you put it on you can put your makeup on right away. It doesn't look like the cream is on your face. It's great for day or night time use and has a light pleasant scent. (the same scent as the suntan lotion) The price on Amazon was the best! (much less than the manufacturer's site) which was a nice surprise. I only wish that I had bought two of them as now I am running low on the first jar.   a great everyday sunscreen that won't create zits or runny eyes

  I've tried mnay suncreens looking for one that provides great protections, goes on smoothly without leaving ugly blotches, doesn't clog pores or create allergic reactions (runny eyes) as soon as I sweat. I was introduced to this product by my primary care physician and have used it on face and hands for several years with good results.   Has firmed my my sagging upper brow skin

  I usually use Origins Youthtopia eye cream (which I love), but had run out. While I was getting a haircut, the salon owner offered to sell me this at half price (they were phasing out old packaging). You use it on your lower eye area and on your brow bone. I am impressed with how well it works. The skin around my eyes looks dewy and firmer, especially the outside of my upper lids where my skin is starting to sag a little. I am 45 years old. Not sure whether I'll buy this again or go back to the Youthtopia. This has lots of good ingredients (like shea butter, hyaluronic acid, etc) but it also contains parabens which the Origins products do not.   Although I love all the Jan Marini products I have used, the Age Intervention Eye cream brought no visible results for me. It does hydrate, but at age 56, I believe nothing but surgery will help the wrinkles around my eyes. I think I actually look more puffy than anything.   Best cleanser on the market

  I am a skin-care product junkie -- always trying something new - except when it coms to my cleanser. This is the best product on the market, and something that I have stayed committed to for years! Being that I'm extremely fair-skinned (always burn, never tan, freckle easily, and allergic to a lot of products), I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin. This is one of the only products that I can use with out having my skin react. I have always been amazed at how gently it cleans because it cleans so thoroughly (even removes eye makeup!) yet my skin feels soft and calm afterwards. Plus you only need a tiny, dime-sized amount so this lasts and lasts.   Best Gentle Cleanser!

  I love this cleanser--my facialist recommended it to me. I had acne at one point and began using it then along with my regimen at that time. I have since continued to use it and I find that it is gentle enough for dry times of the year as well.
