  This is high quality product. It works, feels, and even "smells" the same way as the D'arsonval device used by my esthetician back in Europe.   This product comes in two separate cases one has many useful heads, the other has a base: nice presentation and safe to storage. It came well packed and before I expected. Before purchase it I did some research and this item is well priced and has more options then the others high frequency facial devices.I will highly recommended the only thing I am missing is more information how all the heads may be use and on what level of strength.   a MUST for anyone concerned with their skin

  I wanted to wait a bit before reviewing this item to make sure I wasn't just excited about a new product I had for a few days- it has been about a month since I have purchased and used pretty frequently (5-6 days/week). I am in love with this- after getting sporadic facials when I could fit it in my schedule and wanted to pay the money for them, and feeling that high frequency was the only thing that zapped and helped my problem skin, I inquired with an esthetician and she said they had devices that anyone could buy, so of course I hopped online and looked into it! I selected this one and am extremely pleased with it. For the cost of 2 facials I can now give MYSELF facials and I am so pleased.   Great on older skin also!

  I'm in my 60s and still getting breakouts. This devices clears up any breakout before it develops into anything big. It is also getting rid of little white bumps I have on my chin. It is evening out my skin tone and fading brown spots. I have been using it for a month now. It is well worth the money. You would spend more than this for one good facial. I highly recommend it!   First off I would like to mention that I am a licensed Esthetician.This high frequency came very well packaged, and I love that it has a storage bag.You turn the dial to "I" to "warm up" for 30 seconds. It does NOT and is NOT supposed to get warm/hotThen you test on your hand....you will feel a static electricity feeling, but it is very light. You can turn the dial up two more settings. This was designed for at home use so if you follow the directions you shouldn't be able to hurt yourself with it.If you use a piece of unfolded gauze over your face, it will help guide the electrode smoothly over your skin. It is what we do all of the time in spas. You can either roll over your skin, or you can tap trouble spots with it.***It is totally normal to smell or even taste metal when you use this. I purchased these electrodes to accompany the Palacia high frequency device I bought at the same time through Amazon.com as an Amazon-recommended "frequently bought together" item. Although they are the proper size (11.5mm), they have a ROUND base. I found out when I received my Palacia HF device that it only accepts electrodes with a FLAT base.   Speed healing for at-home facials: portable High Frequency device for acne/pustules!

  So far I've used 2 out of 3 electrode wands: the mushroom electrode for the face (not yet on my body, but I read something that it was good for cellulite) and also the point electrode for spot treatment on my face. My aesthetician always uses this on me at the end of the facial after all the peels and extractions to reduce the redness and also make acne/pimples/pustules and also inflammation/redness go away faster. Please note that this is better for pustules, not black heads. She was selling it for a comparable price, but at least there is no tax here. The electrode wands are easy to insert but it seems difficult the first time because the electrodes seem fragile (glass). The whole unit comes with a nice reusable black case with a protective area for the electrodes, as shown in the photo, but I wish I could store it without having to remove the electrode. However, that would probably have a higher chance of breaking the electrode.   I have had facials for over 20 years and have ALWAYS insisted that they use their high frequency machine on me...because they work so amazingly at killing bacteria, and getting rid of bumps on my face.   Hastily put together, things not explained well

  Like many other titles in the "All About" series, this book is *not* about how to do things, but rather a perfunctory introduction to the topic at hand. Everything is discussed in general terms, with hypothetical examples used in the simpliest manners.The biggest problem with the book as a sort of a primer is, it just does a very poor job at explaining all the different things involved in high-frequency trading, from the actual roles (profit and otherwise) of the exchanges to examples of broker-dealers and market-makers to why certain conditions exist for high-frequency trading.   Durbin's work provides a great foundation to better understand the exciting and exotic world of high frequency trading (HFT). In addition, for you IT fans (like me), he provides an interesting description of the IT requirements to build a successful HFT platform. Finally, in the last section of the book, Durbin covers some of the commonly debated pros and cons of HFT and its affect on market quality.Durbin readily admits throughout the work that he isn't advertising the book as the 'secret sauce' to HFT. But that's ok: as an experienced industry player in the area of institutional trading on the 'buyside', you're getting a lot of bang for your buck and would offer that he is outlining the issues correctly and all the while keeping the reader engaged in the material. Did I need to read this book? Nope, this is part of my day job, but I like the topic and found little nuggets along the way that made it worth the read.
