  I like sleeping with a clean face because your face gets oily and picks up a lot of dirt during the day and I don't like the thought of wiping all that stuff off on to my pillow when I sleep.I don't use soap because it drys up your face so I tried this.1) I like the tube because it's easy to use.2) Cleans nicely and doesn't leave your face dry.3) I usually don't like strong scented stuff but sometimes you just need some scent to cover up assorted smells you pick up during the day.I recommend this mainly because of 2), i.e. it doesn't dry your face up but still cleans nicely. 5/5 John B. I've never found a face wash that I felt was far superior to the rest, and I don't think that this one is particularly special.   Amazing product

  I have very dry skin that breaks out due to the dryness. My doctor recommended I use this product and since I have started using it, I have not had one single breakout. And my skin feels refreshed, renewed, and all my dry patches are gone. I have tried everything, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Dove, Oil of Olay, and the list goes on, but this is by far, hands down the best product for my skin and it does not break the bank. I wish I had known about this much sooner. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this product. It may not be for everyone, but even my husband who has oily skin loves it as well.   Purpose -- I use it every day!

  I love this product. At one point I thought J&J was going to discontinue it and so I stocked up. I use it to wash my face and it leaves it clean yet moisturized.   This is a great cleansing wash that my wife's dermatologist recommended. It is ideal as a face wash because it doesn't dry out your skin after using it the way some astringent washes do, leaving your skin scaly or rough.   Allot of people could use this product alone to stop breakouts if they have moderate adult acne but people with bigger adult acne problems should really try this product and Oxy Maximum Daily Face Wash along with controlling or eliminating processed sugars in their diet before resorting to a Dermatologist.   Great as a daily scrub!

  I've been using Neutrogena deep clean invigorating foaming scrub for about two months now and have become quite attached to it! Recently I read about how important it is for people of a certain age to exfoliate their skin daily and so I bought this scrub to give it a try. I am happy with the results!I also like the energizing microbeads with tingly cool lather.   This is the best facial soap in the world

  Compared to everything I've tried anyway.Those little baubles inside feel like they're cleaning off your dead skin as well. And it smells minty or eucalyptic -very clean. There never seems to be any - and I mean any dirt left on my face after using this soap. My only complaint about this product is I wish it was in a pump form so that I didn't have to open the top and squeeze it out on my wet hands. It gets kind of messy.   finally something that works!

  I didn't know what to do about my neck, it was embarrasing. It looked like it was "painful" some folks said. I constantly got ingrown hairs and pimples on my neck. I didn't know what to do. I tried medicated aftershaves, some with alcohol in them OUCH!Finally I started doing some research and found that a good cleanser might help me out, so I decided to try this nivea, I had seen commercials for it. I used the cleanser and the balm (aka aftershave). I also made sure that I was doing my best to help the situation by switching my shaving technique. Most importantly shave with the direction your hair grows, not against it, that reduces the inflammation. Rinse with cool water not hot, this also reduces the inflammation.   This was the one product that helped me elimate my acne after suffering with it almost 20 years. It's also very inexpensive, feels nice, smells neutral, and is one of the 3 products I've found that contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). The nearest thing I've found to it was a dermatologist-supplied product that costs $29.95 for 8 fl oz. This is less than a third of the price and I like it better.Neutrogena also makes a product that contains alpha hydroxy acids, but it contains other acids as well that don't improve perfomance and burn your eyes if any seeps in. The alpha hydrox product does not sting your eyes.The alpha hydrox line is difficult to find in stores, so I always order my supply online. If the company ever went out of business I'd have to attempt to buy a lifetime supply.   I have tried everything...Obagi, Dermalogica, ProActive, Clear Skin..etc. Finally I found Alpha Hydrox. I am African American, 28 years old and I live in Houston (so humid). I have very, very, very oily skin and adult acne. My face was gorgeous in highschool, but as soon as I went to college disaster struck. I went to dermatologist, I took prescription medicine, but nothing ever worked more than two months. I have been using Alpha Hydrox products since last year and my face is beautiful.   I like Neutrogena products and I like this scrub, but in my experience it's just that.It will clean oily skin (I require a moisturizer afterward) and it smells great; light and fruity. But had a period of adult acne that presented itself as blackheads and this scrub really didn't do anything to improve the condition.   I started using this face wash as a teenager when my skin was ultra sensitive and full of painful acne. It was the only thing that got my face clean without overdrying and it helped with my acne. It also didn't react badly with my acne topical medications. I'm 30 now and just get the occasional pimple, and I still use this wash daily. The tiniest amount gets rid of all my make up, dirt, and, well basically it takes the entire day off my face. It has a fresh clean smell, lathers perfectly, and has a great thick creamy texture. You'll get a great wash whether you use it with your hands, a brush or a washcloth. It's just perfection in a bottle. I hope Olay never gets rid of this face wash.   I have used this Basis gel cleaner for years. I have found only 1 other product that cleans my face without breaking it out or causing blotchiness and that is Aveeno. This Basis cleaner does a good job cleaning your face, smells nice, and is good for sensitive skin. FYI the Basis Sensitive Skin cleanser does not work very well. This face wash is gender neutral (not ultra girlie), so even my husband will use it.I am careful about what I use on my face, and this product works for me. Plus it is a great value. Basically, the soap feels just like I have used hand soap on my face--too harsh. I have regular skin so my face is not too oily or dry and it still felt too dry. However, the face wash does have a nice, clean scent and a bottle of this will last you a while. I would be willing to try this product again if it was truly made of natural/organic components (no lauryl/laureth sulfates) and is 100% not tested on animals. Makeup products should never be tested on something as frivolous as beauty products. That being said if you want something to choose from besides the regular face wash companies give it a try.   LOVE Basis

  This is an awesome basic face cleanser. I love how it smells, lathers, rinses, and how my face feels afterwards. Skin is clean and soft. This cleanser is said to be for normal to oily skin. But if you have sensitive skin that is not SUPER sensitive, I'm sure you can use this. That's the kind of skin I have. I tried other formulas that are made for sensitive skin (Cetaphil) and found those to be too gentle that it didn't give me the clean feeling I wanted. This cleanser took off my make-up and really gave me balanced results--dry parts were cleaned without over drying and oily parts were cleaned and unwanted oils were removed. I stopped using this cleanser for a while only because I couldn't find it in stores anymore. I'm so glad that Amazon carries it and at an even better price than before since I'm using Subscribe and Save. I highly recommend this cleanser.   I love this product! I've been using it for over seven years now. I have oily skin and, back in my twenties, horrible adult acne. I cured my acne within a couple of months of starting this product. Even now, if I skip a day or use something else, I'll get a breakout. The 32 oz refill size is the best buy. I fill a little squeeze bottle halfway and top off the bottle with water (50:50 dilution). To use, I sprinkle a little on a warm, wet washcloth and scrub gently. (I've found that scrubbing too hard or using the product more than once a day makes my face raw, although I'll occasionally use it twice in one day if my face is especially oily, sweaty, or dirty.)   In my professional opinion...

  I am a skin care professional who has worked with many high end products, and when it comes to treating acne this is hands down my favorite. I love that it is all natural, has a great lather for removing dirt and make-up, and washes away without leaving any residue behind, a little goes a long way which is very, very important in this business. I use it everyday myself and whenever I switch to try some other far more expensive product I always go back to using this. Used improperly, it can lead to dryness and increased breakouts.Acne is caused by the bacteria that builds up when trapped oil and skin cells accumulate under clogged pores. To treat acne, you must clear those pores and eliminate bacteria. Salicylic acid-containing products slough off cells from the top layer of the skin, helping you keep your pores clear. With all those dead cells cleared away, however, you're also thinning out your body's natural barrier against bacteria.The trick is, you need to wash away dirt and make use of the gentle exfoliation the salicylic acid allows, without taking so much off that you're weakening the skin's ability to protect.   Same ingredients as MURAD & just as effective....

  This has the same cleaning power as regular Neutrogena but with a much better smell. I noticed with the orange version that my skin had a medical smell to it. This grapefruit scent is more than acceptable and leaves my skin feeling clean and tight. It does a good job of removing make-up. The 2% salicylic acid is the same strength and cleans as well as Murad, but for far less cost. The other Murad substitute that NEutrogena has is the Rapid Clear 3-in-1 Acne Treatment, which is equivalent to Murad's 2% salicylic acid gel (but again at a much lower cost.) These two products used at night, combined with an SPF 30 moisturizer in the day, make my skin very clear. You have to just continue it even as the gel "boils" the acne to the surface at first. Once the skin is clear, if you continue to use these, then your skin will stay clear.
