  Great starter cookbook to change your eating habits

  What sets this book apart are it's easy to prepare recipes for those seeking to eat real food, not processed, supermarket, WalMart faux food that comes in a box. It also allows you to dip your toe into changing your eating habits thus increasing the odds of success. With knowledge comes change but neither has to happen all at once. This book allows for smaller steps. We evolved from buying deals at local supermarkets to changing to free range beef, then getting veggie shares from a local organic farm to going "no added sugar, no wheat flour" and that is pretty much were we are now. 100% (well, 98%) organic veggies, free range poultry (and their eggs) and free range beef. The same goes for the garden. No pesticides and vermiculture (worm castings) is used for the for the soil. What is interesting is that when you get here you'll see that you are far from the first. Terry Walters starts with the basics of what clean eating is and why you should chose clean eating. Then, she goes into the perfect amount of detail on what items to stock and why.   I have very much liked this product thus far. I would highly recommend this to people who have mild to moderate acne (like me). I'm not sure for people with really intense acne, but for me it's done a great job of clearing up my skin. It's definitely not over-drying, and the product itself smells pretty good. Kinda like cucumbers. I actually prefer this to the refining mask from Proactive because it drys completely before you go to sleep so there is not as much rub off onto your pillow.   Clean start bedtime for breakouts

  I have been using this product for about a 11 days now. (today is Nov. 7) Before purchasing this product, I looked for reviews on youtube.com and thought it would be too good to be true. After receiving the product in the mail, I tried it that night and the next morning I was definitely able to see/feel that the big bumps on my face decreased.   I bought this Clean Start Kit from the product's official website, not Amazon. However, I wanted to review it here since they rejected my review on their website. I really liked the light citrus scent and how natural it feels. The bottles look modern, colorful, and fun. After using it for a few weeks, my face broke out more and in areas that I never had problems with acne before. I continued using it because I read somewhere that sometimes it has to get "worse before better." On the third week, I decided to stop. I'd say normally for most face washes it takes two-three weeks for visible results so I did give it enough time.I went back to using Proactiv and my skin calmed down but still has not fully recovered just yet. I wanted to try out Dermalogica Clean Start because I heard great reviews and I was running out of Proactiv.   Great for a pre-teen

  My 11 year old has acne and I could not find anything that would help her. I have used this company for myself and I knew it was a quality product but I did not know how it would work for my daughter. Well the search is over! Only 3 steps to do for the most part and twice a week, she adds another step and she is fine with it.   I have used this product for several years now and I find that it works better than anything I have tried in the past. Although some stores will market it specifically for teens, I am 30 years old and it was recommended to me by my esthetician. The next morning they were much smaller. Wish it was bigger though.   No more picking temptation~!

  For me, the greatest issue I've had is with the abundance of small comedones on my cheeks and forehead, although I do get an irritated blemish here and there.Months ago, I started the Clean Start regime with the "All Over Clear," "Wash Off," and "Bedtime For Breakouts," but using Bio-Oil as a moisturizer at night and in mornings until my skin tone evened out, at which point I planned to start using "Welcome Matte" in the morning instead. This regime has worked well to keep my acne fairly well under control, and I've started using a Clarisonic Mio as well, which has helped greatly.However, whenever a large blemish would appear I would always get it with a sanitized needle, and while I was very thorough with them, and they would always go away after this method, they would still leave an unsightly scab for DAYS.   Asparagus and fennel are in season in the fall?

  For a book that is strongly rooted in eating "clean foods" that are fresh and in season (this book is organized according to the four seasons, after all), I would not expect to see a recipe like, "Roasted Squash with Fennel and Asparagus" in the Fall season. Yes, I do buy produce when it's out of season, but I purchased this book specifically to eat more local, fresh produce.Also, like another reviewer mentioned, the bulk of the protein sources use in this book are tofu, tempeh, etc. She doesn't work a lot with lentils, beans, or other more unprocessed forms of protein. That was a personal downfall for me since I don't like to get all of my protein from soy.For me, this felt like a book that was very strong in soups and side dishes but terribly weak for main course recipes.   I like this product. Its a good moisturizer, has a sunscreen, and has had a noticeable effect in keeping my skin clear (I am in my mid-20s, so its about time I found something that works and it easy!). I've never used another mattifier, but I would agree that if what you're buying this for is its matte effect, it might not be the best product. Though I haven't noticed it making my skin any shinier, either.   Sunscreen without the tears

  I have tried many different sunscreens and something in the ingredients causes my eyes to burn and tear up. This becomes a particularly big problem in the summer time or at the beach when sweat will cause more of the sun screen to get into my eyes. I do not have the same problem with lotion, it must be an ingredient particular to sunscreen. This is the ONLY sunscreen I have ever purchased that does not cause this problem.
