  Best thing that ever happened to my face

  I literally saw a difference within 24 hours.I'm 27 years old and I have been struggling with acne since my middle school days.This stuff is a life saver. Within 24 hours my break outs had gone down on my chin! Within a week, there were no zits.I get them worst on my chin and this has really helped. I don't find that this burns or over dries my skin. I always use all three products each time and I use them twice a day.If I forget just one time though, I will get a zit. I swear, it takes me one day to get them and three days to get rid of them. I have this problem most on weekends... get in late, forget to wash my face... get up late... forget to wash my face.So, in short, if you use it... it should work.I have combination skin. My chin is very oily and my forehead is dry. I actually only wash the bottom of my face, then use the moisturizer mostly on the top of my face.   Don't bother if you suffer severe acne

  I jumped for joy and didn't believe the clear skin reflecting back at me in the mirror the next morning after the very first time I used the product. It was amazing. Then a few days later....pimples were back with angry vengeance, and the more I used it, the worse they got. There must be something in it that certain skin types can become immune to over time, for me, rather quickly.   Great product considered the price

  I bought this for my 12 year old because she just suddenly developed acne on her cheeks and forehead. I used to use Proactiv and it surely didn't work for me. Was at my local Target and it was on sale so I decided to pick it up. It was one of my best impulse purchase to date. It actually works. Seeing improvements in a day is a slight exaggeration. 2-3 days and it really improved her skin. You can actually see the difference.   Dont Waste Your $ On An RX!!

  This product is great and is highly effective. I have worked in pharmacy for 3 years and have seen people spend a lot of money on prescription acne treatments that basically do the same thing but only cost more, especially if you dont have insurance. This strength of Benzoyl Peroxide used to be RX only, but now is over the counter. It is rather strong and I do suggest that you follow the instructions on the package, especially if you have sensitive skin, to "ease into it", even if you are tempted to put it on 2-3 times a day at the very beginning. It may cause your skin to become very dry and flaky, somewhat ruining the benefits. Overtime though, many people's skin gets used to it and then you can increase the application as neeed.As other people have mentioned this product does say that it is a gel, but in fact is a white cream and does leave some residue on the skin.   The best zit cream ever

  If you need to get rid of a zit fast, then this is the best out there, in my experience.I put this on any zit (or blackhead trying to become a zit) that I spy before bed, and it knocks that sucker out. It does make my skin peel a tad, and it will probably do the same to you, so be careful not to overuse. Also, make sure you use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer as well if your skin is really sensitive.EDIT: Something else that's great: This product caused old acne scars on my chin to fade very quickly. Acne scars are the worst because even if the zit goes away it looks like you still have it! So this product is great for that as well.SECOND EDIT: I wrote this review several years ago. I'm now 29 and this product doesn't work the same for me as it used to. So your experience with it may vary depending on how old you are. When I was younger, it was the best!   I've been using these for a few years now and I love them for a number of reasons:1. The sheets are thick enough to absorb a large amount of oil and my face is obviously matte after use.2. Unlike tissue-paper-esque sheets, oily spots show up clearly so that it's very obvious which parts of the sheet are already saturated.3. The sheets have no obvious scent.4. The container is great.   Great for oil absorption!

  I love these oil absorbing sheets. I found out about these from a fellow oily faced person that swore by them. I have tried numerous ones in the past and they either did not absorb enough oil or they left my face with a ghastly white hue because they deposited powder. The fact that the sheet turns clear once it has absorbed oil is satisfying...so you know if you have to use another sheet. Also, my makeup stays intact and appears refreshed after use.   Work but slower

  One sheet absorbs a lot of oil, so these blotting sheets are very economical. Mind that these sheets are thick plastic-y type, not paper-based! The downside to this is slow absorption so the sheet is in contact with the skin longer than paper-based sheets. This may cause irritation.   Forget all the negatives you've heard about this product because it really does work! Atleast for me it did. I don't know about the other two reviews but maybe they have a more sever case and need prescription medication for their acne. After 1 use my skin felt really clean and after two weeks of use I could notice how clear my skin was becoming. Although it took about 3 weeks for my acne marks to begin to fade away. Not only was it easy to use but it wasn't that painful, unlike that other chick. The first time I applied the spot treatment it did burn a little but thats because it's killing bacteria and oil. After a couple days it doesn't hurt because the oil and bacteria on/in your skin should be going away. However I only gave this product 4 stars because when I aplied the night-time lotion and the spot treatment it did begin to flake. I think it is because of the ingredient in the spot treatment that made it flake.   I just recieved this product in the mail about 4 days ago and I have been using it every day and night since. I already have seen major changes in my skin. I had realy bad problem areas on my chin and around my forehead. It has only been a few days since I started using this and all of the zits are starting to fade.   The Doctor Was Right

  In my late 30's I was breaking out worse than I ever did in my teens. It was particularly bad after shaving, even though I use an electric razor. My dermotologist recommended that I always wash my face with this before I shave, and it has worked wonders. Apparently the anti-bacterial component helps the breakouts because it kills bacteria that your razor would otherwise shove into your pores.I have found that it does dry my skin somewhat, but I usually apply an oil-free moisturizer after shaving (from acne.org) and my skin stays perfect all day long.I highly recommend this product. 5/5 T.   Not for true acne-prone skin

  I purchased this moisturizer because I was looking for something that would keep my skin hydrated while also treating my acne. I'm afraid this wasn't the best product for me to choose, however. It doesn't contain a sunscreen, for one, so it's not great for the daytime. It does contain salicylic acid, but only .5 percent which is not a great deal, although if you do suffer from dry skin it can irritate it. I have pretty oily skin so that isn't a problem for me, but I also struggle with moderate adult acne and don't feel this is strong enough to really take care of it. I used this for a few weeks in addition to my normal skincare routine and saw no changes.The lotion goes on clear and dispenses from a pump top for easy application. You get a full 4 ounces for the price.I would say this product would be great for someone who breaks out with light acne very occasionally, and who is looking for a *nighttime* moisturizer for the oily areas of the face. As typical it was far worse in my teen years but it's never been non-existant.As a result of my long term fight I've used dozens of different creams, lotions, washes, foams, bars...This product is definately at the top of the list of things I've used. It's not over drying like some other products. While I thought that very dry might be good as oil seems to be the problem, drying tends to cause more problems than benefits. This cleans well without drying.It's very thick. It has the consistency of vegetable shortining or cream cheese. Where most creams are thin like soaps tend to be, this could be compared to a cold cream or noxema's traditional cream.There's a strong tingling that comes with using this. The product suggests it is the 'deep cleaning' - I'd argue it's menthol or something similar to suggest deep cleaning. When they say on the label "don't use near eyes" take heed.   Only face wash that works for me

  I dealt with acne problems for many years, went through countless acne-fighting products. I've used all the face washes (salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide), used the astringents and spot-treatments, and tried the natural stuff. I've found this to be the most effective product for me. I use it once a day as face scrub in the morning, and at night I use a mild cleanser. I've been using this for about 2 years now, and have been acne-free the whole time. Definitely use a lotion afterwards though, because this will dry out your skin. It doesn't take away all the oil like some other facewash does, but I think that's part of why it works. It NEVER dries your skin out by removing too much oil. It also has the strongest concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide I've seen in an onver the counter product (10%). This does wonders for me and if this product ever went away I'd be screwed. The only thing I don't like about it is that it can be expensive in stores, and you can run out of it quick if you don't ration it correctly. Even though it's a cream that doesn't spread that well, you don't need very much for it to be effective.   Doesn't live up to its claims

  I usually get a few of those big, red pimples around my period or when I'm super stressed out, and I decided to try this out. It did absolutely nothing but make my skin burn for a few seconds, and the skin around the pimples got dry and flaky.   Great product!

  Growing up I had terrible acne that wouldn't go away no matter how many products I tried... until I found Clean and Clear Advantage! Have been using this product since I first layed eyes on it in the store (so long ago that I can't even remember how long it's been)and have been so happy with my skin ever since.   I purchased this for my 13yr old daughter that has bad acne all over her forehead.After a week of using it twice daily her acne is down by half.   I dont usually get acne, but recently, I had a really bad outbreak, so I picked this stuff up to give it a try. In a little under a week, I have already seen a significant improvement. The one-time offer of free shipping made this purchase more desirable.The Clean & Clear blue bottle is the better choice for normal skin (non-oily, non-dry) because the other Clean & Clear products that are available in local stores (orange or other colored bottles) are designed for different skin types and may dry out your facial skin or leave your skin with an oily feeling. The blue bottle is targeted for Oily, Normal and Dry Skin types and doesn't target just one skin type.Although I use this product sparingly and for when I work under strenuous workloads, the Clean & Clear Facial Cleanser helps keep my face feeling refreshed and invigorated, more so than ordinary soap and water might.The cleanser beads, according to the Clean & Clear product website, are designed to break down during cleansing that release the oxygen-infused formula for a cleaner and... 5/5 R.   I ran out of my Clean and Clear for the shower and this stuff is much better. Smells cool and it really helps keep skin acne free. Doesn't hurt when I put it on either, it's smooth.   Cleansing sensation

  Love this face wash! It really feels like it's detoxifying your face!! It leaves my face feeling refresh and well clean. At first it may be drying but after a couple of uses, my face got used to it. It's great for daily use.
