  My 17 year old daughter has used this for a couple of weeks now and the breakouts on her face have cleared up. She is also using the "Neutrogena Acne Stress Control, Power Foam Wash."   Really works!

  This product does everything it claims. It clears up acne gently and moisturizes your skin at the same time. It also moisturizes enough so you don't have to use another moisturizer afterwards. I used to use Proactiv and I have really oily skin that dries out easily if I use too harsh of products. I find I have to have a delicate balance of acne clearing ingredients and moisturizers otherwise I have either really oily or really dry skin. Before using this product along with the Power Foam Wash has made my skin clearer, smoother and softer then I ever saw it while using Proactiv or any of the other systems I have tried. I love the tingling sensation I get after using this and how light it is on my skin. I went from having a bunch of zits on my forehead to very small if any zits on my forehead.   Gentle, but effective

  My skin isn't completely covered in pimples, but I am always breaking out, including those deep, painful ones. I got super diligent about my skincare a few months ago because I was tired of being in my mid-twenties with the skin of a teenager. I tried Proactiv, but I was left with skin that was red, flaky, irritated, and STILL breaking out. Not exactly a great combination.   Since I was 11 or 12 I've had acne issues - it started out mild but eventually my skin became oily and filled with acne; Now 18 years old, I've tried ProActive, Clearasil, and now this AcneFree system. First of all, let me say: Don't waste your time on ProActive. Of the three I mentioned above, it was the least effective. ProActive is just basically watered-down Clearasil, which is great for use on mild acne. However, for moderate to severe acne, I highly recommend this product. I've been using it for a little more than two weeks and, while my face is not completely free of acne (although I suspect it will be soon), it is much less irritated and my skin does feel softer. I don't have many bumps, just red blotches where the acne used to be. These mild blotches are going away each passing day.   Worked BETTER than Proactiv!!

  First off I want to explain that I have had terrible acne off and on (mostly on though) for the past 8 years. I had to be put on Accutane my sophmore year for 6 months in high school and then again my freshman year of college for another 3 months. I have been struggling ever since then and needed an alternative to dermatoligist bills and prescriptions for acne treatment. I was having extremely painful and frequent breakouts in the later half of last year and in early November I happened to stumble upon this product. I had my doubts because I had already given Proactiv a couple of tries in the past. The first week of using the 4 products in the package my face became EXTREMELY dry! At first I was worried because it would always be a little red and irritated for the first hour or two after going through the routine.   I only started breaking out with acne in my early thirties. After trying the Loreal adult acne system for 2 months & Proactiv for 6 months with minimal results, I decided to give this a try. Yes, it made my skin very dry the first few weeks but I used a moisturizer over it kept using it and got fantastic results.   I started having problems with adult onset acne at about age 25 - am now 40.   I started getting acne young, when i was about 10 and i didnt know how to look after my skin then. No cleansing, toning or even moisturizing because i thought that would give me more spots, what a fool i was.   Definatly works!!

  At first i was skeptical of this acid peel, but changed my mind soon after. I took before photos to see the change the peel would have on my face, and its only been about 4 weeks, but i will take pics soon of the after results after 6 weeks. Im 20, male, white, with slightly oily skin, and acne that sometimes turns horrible on me and makes cysts only on cheeks though. One cyst next to my eye and eyebrow left a bad scar. This stuff does tingle a bit, but very bearable. Used first for 2 mins, and had no effect, upped it to 4, same result. Used the full 8 mins the next day, started to see improvements. I modified the instructions a bit because my skin is used to exfoliations by 10% benzoil peroxide which only made pimples smaller and face a bit dry.   I was skeptical at first. The only way I found out about this product was at Rite-Aid with 1 bottle of the Body spray. It seemed to be working ok, and I did a search on Amazon.com for it, and seen all the great reviews. So for $10, I was like why not? Man am I glad I did. Amazing stuff, I noticed a difference after 2 or 3 days, then 1 week was even better, 2 weeks was more and going a month strong, almost completely clear, if I do get any breakouts, gone in a day almost.   There are several acne treatment solutions out there and I've tried almost all of them...murad, proactiv, klear action, clearasil, stridex, retin-a, etc. All of them left my skin oily or dry or irritated and none stopped future breakouts from happening plus they were quite expensive. I think I'm the minority in which months of proactiv did not help stop future breakouts.   Don't bother if you suffer severe acne

  I jumped for joy and didn't believe the clear skin reflecting back at me in the mirror the next morning after the very first time I used the product. It was amazing. Then a few days later....pimples were back with angry vengeance, and the more I used it, the worse they got. There must be something in it that certain skin types can become immune to over time, for me, rather quickly.   Great product considered the price

  I bought this for my 12 year old because she just suddenly developed acne on her cheeks and forehead. I used to use Proactiv and it surely didn't work for me. Was at my local Target and it was on sale so I decided to pick it up. It was one of my best impulse purchase to date. It actually works.   Best thing that ever happened to my face

  I literally saw a difference within 24 hours. I'm 27 years old and I have been struggling with acne since my middle school days. This stuff is a life saver. Within 24 hours my break outs had gone down on my chin! Within a week, there were no zits. I get them worst on my chin and this has really helped. I don't find that this burns or over dries my skin.   First off, I'm in my early 20's and have combination type skin with occasional, mild to moderate acne. I used nearly two whole ProActiv systems before switching to a Neutrogena kit and have found that this clears up my skin much better and faster. I find it very convenient that the Day Lotion includes SPF 15, whereas the ProActiv Repairing Lotion doesn't, even though ProActiv advises you to use sunscreen with their system when going outside. That would probably prompt you to buy their oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15 as well ($$ smart business move $$), thus adding another step to your skin-care regimen. I would recommend anyone with my acne/skin type who is thinking about subscribing to ProActiv to try Neutrogena first. Anyway, the Neutrogena kit lasts around 5 months for me.   Finally, help for adult acne!!

  I am in my early 30's and have been experiencing severe and embarassing break-outs along my jaw line, chin and cheeks for the past couple of years. I have tried Murad, Proactiv, AcneFree and many other systems without success. A month ago I picked up the Neutrogena system when I saw it on sale. Within five days days my skin started to clear.   Works great for me

  First of all, I understand that not every product will work for every individual. But, this one is far exceeding my expectations. I did some research online before I bought this. What I found was that what seemed to work the best for people was a combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. I looked at the wide array of acne treatments I had at home and they were ALL salicylic acid, but no benzoyl peroxide. I thought it was worth a shot. I'm 35 and acne runs in my family. My mom still has it. I was starting to develop very deep, painful acne that would heal in one place and then show up in another place. Nothing I was doing was getting rid of it. In the past, regular 50mg zinc from CVS helped tremendously but it tastes like poison and would upset my stomach if I didn't take it with a FULL meal. I use proactive as my topical treatment. Modified daily habits are - no diary, avoiding foods high in GI and no heavy lifting workouts.   actually works

  On my third week of taking and I can't believe it works, I was a medium acne guy and tried a bunch of washes and cream as well as tetracyclene and got no results. I was sceptical at first with this stuff but being 6 dollars I thought is give it a try. Now three weeks in I have one little red spot on my neck from a zit that I had before taking the zinc and nothing else. I am still in shock of how quickly and effectively this works.   Works better than other Acne Treatment Products

  I have suffered of acne since my teens. For a long time in my life I thought that it was gone for good, but then starting at 28 years old, it struck back again like in my teen years. To give you some background, I am 30 now, Latina but with fair complexion. My mother language is not English, but I will try to do my best documenting my review. Below some products that I have tried, for your reference: - Proactiv: the only specific product from them that worked for me is their mask. I just used for spots treatment and most of the time, they were reduced by 50% the next morning. I never felt that the cleanser and cream worked for me. - Philosophy Acne Treatment: it dries up the pimples, but then you have dark spots all over your face. If I didn't use a good moisturizer in the morning before going to work, my skin would be really dry and itchy.   I have moderate acne with oily skin. Most of my breakouts occur right before my monthly period. I decided to get away from cheap store brand products and try Avon after reading positive reviews on Amazon and Google. This product improved the texture of my skin, reduced the amount of oil, and cleared most of my acne within 3 days. I've been using it for a little over a month now and although i still have mild breakouts, they are not as bad as they used to be and my skin feels and looks a lot smoother.   Doesn't live up to its claims

  I usually get a few of those big, red pimples around my period or when I'm super stressed out, and I decided to try this out. It did absolutely nothing but make my skin burn for a few seconds, and the skin around the pimples got dry and flaky.   I love this product! It will shrink the size and redness of acne in one day. I first bought it to treat new spots, and it worked so well I now use it everyday as my regular acne treatment.   The Best

  This is the only stuff that works for me. I have had acne since I was a teenager. I still have it, and I'm 31. If I consistently use this, it pretty much takes care of all my acne. I am not an extreme case, but I average about five or six noticeable pimples on any given day. This reduces them down to a minimally noticeable two or three. I have dry/combination skin. If any of you have skin like mine, here is my acne advice. Hot wet washcloth scrub every morning and night. Use moisturizer with some alpha hydroxy. When you have dry skin, it is important to exfoliate because flaking skin will clog your pores and cause the acne. But don't be too harsh. Change your pillowcase! If you have long hair and don't wash it at night, put it back in a ponytail before going to bed. Exercise. It helps circulation under the skin and destresses. Stress can also cause acne, so find other ways to destress. Drink lots of water and get good sleep.
