Effective Acne Treatment
I'm in my mid 40s with sensitive, fair skin. I get regular acne as well as cystic. My skin doesn't do well with some drying acne treatments, so I decided to give heat a try. I first used the Zeno device and liked it. The downfalls of Zeno, however, are that you have to hold it on each zit for 3 minutes, it has a limited number of uses so is expensive to replace, and it is too easy to accidentally push the activate button. One Zeno for $35+ only lasted me a month. After reading reviews for the No!No! acne system, I decided to give it a try instead. I've used it for 2 weeks now, and I prefer it to Zeno. Each zap takes only 10 seconds (not 3 minutes). You zap each zit 2X twice a day. The zaps combine light and heat (Zeno doesn't include light). It feels a little like an extraction during a facial, so if you are really sensitive, the heat may not be for you. Not Impressed
I've been using this for several months and so far, I'm not sure that it does anything. I keep using it because the concept makes sense; light and heat should help reduce and heal skin blemishes. I'd like to think that - even though I don't see a physical difference or notice belmishes healing faster - it is doing something. Plus, for the price, I want to make sure I get my money's worth out of it.The testimonials claim that most people will notice a difference in 24 hours. I've never known this to be the case. When I use it a bit more frequently than the instructions say to, it does help, but only a little. For the most part, if you test it on one blemish and not on another, they will both heal at about the same time. I might recommend this product at $20.00, but at the current price, it should be a miracle tool for clear skin and it is not that at all. 2/5 J. Works Great - Just Don't Smile
I bought this after reading rave reviews from a beauty website. When it arrived, I washed my face and dabbed it on as instructed. Nothing really happened. Then I found another set of reviews that said to use a collagen filler underneath it, let that dry completely, then apply the eye lift over that using a disposable eye shadow brush. Remain motionless and let dry for about 3 minutes. The great news is that it worked and the results were AMAZING!! I was really excited! And then - it happened. The huge smile on my face cracked the eye lift film open and it looked like cold wax peeling off my face. I was crushed!! I tried other suggestions such as mixing it with a little moisturizer, using less of it, etc. So far I haven't found anything that will work other than to remain expressionless all day - which is impossible for me. Do your homework--it really works!
I have extensive experience in the medical field and have owned the Zeno Product for quite some time. After reading the reviews, I can no longer remain silent. This is a wonderful product that has NEVER claimed to be a substitute for good hygiene. It is a very effective product for when good hygiene fails (and, thanks to Mother Nature's ways, good hygiene will inevitably fail no matter what skin care regimen you have). Okay, I'll admit I was very very skeptical.... but it works.....It really does! I am 33 years old and have moderate acne that is very difficult to treat. For about the past year or so, I had been using 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide twice a day, every day. Yes, it's basically a recharable battery and a heating element. Yes, it is expensive. [..].I really wanted to rip on this thing and call it junk, but I have to admit IT WORKED. I've tried it about 5 times and it's helped tremendously. On a couple of occasions, it actually did work overnight! Better than a band-aid.
There is no doubt about it. New Skin stinks. It smells up the room when you use it and hours later you can still smell it. But it works. I often have small cuts and abrasions and since I'm a swimmer I try to avoid going to the pool when I've got an open cut. New skin fills the gap and keeps your scrape protected until it heals over. good under makeup to cover acne
I forgot why I bought it,I didn't know it would be such a big help. The day before my birthday, I got a big zit in the middle of my right cheek..I manage to pop it out(don't do that), because I didn't want it to be big, red and swollen. I applied two coat on top of the zit, after it dry, I apply foundation and concealer on top of it, so that the makeup wouldn't have direct contact to the wound. It stayed put all day and all night long, even the makeup remover couldn't take it off..2 days later, the dead skin came off, my scar completely fade away!!! As far as the smell, I think it smells good- in fact I usually take a whiff before putting the cap back on the bottle. I'm surprised to see that others do not care for the smell, but to each his own. It takes about 5 minutes to dry, not 10-15 as another reviewer wrote. This product works great for blisters- I've put it on fresh blisters and been back outside working without gloves immediately afterwards. It can tend to peel a little, but can easily be reapplied, right over what's left of the previous application. Once dried, it's wise to let it peel on it's own- it does become skin-like and force-peeling it can reopen the wound just like picking a scab. Consider this
The J. August Everything Pencil comes in about six colors. This makes sense. So why is it that the EraseZit Pencil comes in one color for everyone? My skin is very fair, so I wear the ultra-light Everything pencil which works well. However the EraseZit pencil made me look as though I had an orange blotch on my face no matter how well I blended. YUK. I suspect that it would blend well with medium toned skin. It also smelled clean and had a nice texture. I doubt that I would risk it on dark skin. 3/5 L. The best concealer
Very simply the Everything Pencil conceals flaws, scars, breakouts, you name it. It does not come off with perspiration, it does not get clogged in the fine lines of the skin and it comes in color hues. It can be worn alone, with makeup or with tint. It is a product that improves the way one appears. Zits Gone in About a Day
I have tried many spot treatment concealers and this is one is the best. Many have complained about an orange shade, but I have light olive skin and it works well for me.
