  This is a good introductory level of understanding your skin but doesn't go into the detail I was hoping for.It is quite generalised and also doesn't prescribe any fixes to problems nor does it give an indepth analysis of skin problems. I will end up selling it as I am studying anatomy and it doesn't meet my needs but for others just wanting more information than a magazine it would be very helpful and a most worthwhile purchase. Information is set out clearly however and it covers a huge range of topics (as the title suggests) so would be great for those wanting a broad view of skin issues. 3/5 K.   I find it works quite good, i've been using it now for 5 years and stops the breakouts from getting out of hand, but i would say that the other products in your skincare regime should be made for your skin too, don't just depend on just this, it is good for clogging and for painful pimples or white heads, i use it with a mild exfoliating cleanser and make sure i moisturise well with an oil free moisturiser afterwards.   Works very well!

  I've had this for about 5 days now and I've fallen in love with it! It does a great job at drying acne up, but the best part is that it does it during the day acting as a coverup. I don't even need to use my normal makeup when I use this. It covers so well. It also reduces redness and inflammation caused by acne. And it hasn't overly dried my skin like I expected.   I bought this after using a similar product that was actually pink (for use overnight). They work very similarly, but because this one is tinted a skin tone you can actually wear it during the day, too, which for me helped dry out blemishes more quickly. Plus it doubled fairly well as a cover up (although it will probably be too dark for very fair skin to not cover it with a little makeup). Didn't give it 5 stars only because I prefer an all natural product (which could be easily formulated for this type of product). But definitely will buy again. 4/5 R.V.   Effective Acne Treatment

  I'm in my mid 40s with sensitive, fair skin. I get regular acne as well as cystic. My skin doesn't do well with some drying acne treatments, so I decided to give heat a try. I first used the Zeno device and liked it. The downfalls of Zeno, however, are that you have to hold it on each zit for 3 minutes, it has a limited number of uses so is expensive to replace, and it is too easy to accidentally push the activate button. One Zeno for $35+ only lasted me a month. After reading reviews for the No!No! acne system, I decided to give it a try instead. I've used it for 2 weeks now, and I prefer it to Zeno. Each zap takes only 10 seconds (not 3 minutes). You zap each zit 2X twice a day. The zaps combine light and heat (Zeno doesn't include light). It feels a little like an extraction during a facial, so if you are really sensitive, the heat may not be for you.   Not Impressed

  I've been using this for several months and so far, I'm not sure that it does anything. I keep using it because the concept makes sense; light and heat should help reduce and heal skin blemishes. I'd like to think that - even though I don't see a physical difference or notice belmishes healing faster - it is doing something. Plus, for the price, I want to make sure I get my money's worth out of it.The testimonials claim that most people will notice a difference in 24 hours. I've never known this to be the case. When I use it a bit more frequently than the instructions say to, it does help, but only a little. For the most part, if you test it on one blemish and not on another, they will both heal at about the same time. It is especially helpful for cysts, that are not affected by topical medications such as salicylic acid, sulfur and benzoyl peroxide, and for whiteheads. The only con is that it requires batteries replacement about every 50 uses.   Buy rechargeable batteries

  I thought there was something wrong with the batteries I bought and seriously thought about complaining to the store until I saw the other review. The more you use this unit, the more energy it seems to require. I do have about five trouble spots on my face, but moving the unit around my face twice a day can burn up 3 AAA batteries in less than two full uses. But when I first got the unit, the batteries lasted a few days, now I'm lucky if I get through a morning or evening session. It does seem to help my acne (or at least it keeps me from touching my face with my hands), but I have gone through two packs of 20 batteries in less than a month. 2/5 Debra D.   If you don't mind replacing the batteries EVERY day, this is a great item. Warning! You will burn through three AAA batteries per day with normal use. Research this item before you buy it. It's a better investment to buy the full size, rechargeable unit, because the cost of batteries to run the portable one would cover the difference in price between the portable unit and full size one. Also, note that this unit only runs for 1,000 uses. That's not much when they tell you to use it three times per day per zit.   I found out about this tool at a salon when I went for a facial cleaning and the skin care technician used it on me; at first I didn't see what it was, but she kept on saying that "a lot" was coming out. It hurt a little, but it didn't leave any red marks. So at the end of the treatment I asked if I could see the tool, I was too curious; then I went home and ordered one. It's great! Lots & lots of stuff comes out! But you SHOULDN'T use it if your skin hasn't been washed and pores opened. It's best to do it right after a good shower (I usually wash my face in the shower). Does it hurt? Of course it hurts a little, but it also hurt at the salon, and we don't complaint when a professional is doing it. IF your skin has been soaked enough with warm water you shouldn't have to press so hard for stuff to come out; you should run it through the target area, not hold it down on one spot (that's what causes the marks). **Note: works best on nose, chin, and forehead; not good on your cheekbones. 4/5 N.   well made but too thick for me

  i bought this and a lancet also from suvorna together, which makes less scarring because the lancet pokes a small hole for the acne to come out.i used to have a lancet plus remover that i've been using like forever, but it was my mom's, so when i went study abroad i know i need to get my own. the one that i had has a thin wire loop as a remover, and i think this might have affected my opinions on the suvorna remover, just kept that in mind for now.because of all the good comments i saw so i decided to give it a try. i looked online on guides on using the suvorna specifically but the suvorna website is not up yet. i also read some websites on how a flat remover can provide more even forces on the surrounding skin of the acne which can cause less scarring, hence i was really excited to try the suvorna acne remover.however when i try to use it on my acne, it's just too thick, even after i poke a little hole with my lancet. i tried to use the flat side... 3/5 Janis Lai "j" (Boston, USA / Hong Kong) - See all my reviews, August 13, 2010
