  I never had break outs until when I turn 44. I was breaking out just around my mouth and was getting worse as time went by. I was told it is a hormonal thing and couldn't find any solution.   Works very well!

  I've had this for about 5 days now and I've fallen in love with it! It does a great job at drying acne up, but the best part is that it does it during the day acting as a coverup. I don't even need to use my normal makeup when I use this. It covers so well. It also reduces redness and inflammation caused by acne. And it hasn't overly dried my skin like I expected.   I bought this after using a similar product that was actually pink (for use overnight). They work very similarly, but because this one is tinted a skin tone you can actually wear it during the day, too, which for me helped dry out blemishes more quickly. Plus it doubled fairly well as a cover up (although it will probably be too dark for very fair skin to not cover it with a little makeup). Didn't give it 5 stars only because I prefer an all natural product (which could be easily formulated for this type of product). But definitely will buy again. 4/5 R.V.   it works!

  I bought this for a dollar at Dollar General and gave it a try. It really does work. I use it on small areas on my face if i have a breakout and only at nighttime. By morning I have noticed a big difference on the size of the blemish and within a day or two it's gone!   Good for regular skin not sensitive

  Was horrible for my sensitive skin, dried it out, caused redness, rawness, irritation and even more breakouts. It's as if wherever the benzoyl peroxide touched my skin, 5 more pimples on the area grew.   I have had trouble with acne for the past 6 or 7 years now. I'm now 28 and have literally tried everything. This is the only product that has worked. I still get the odd spot once in a while but after dabbing a little of this product on the trouble spots, they begin to disappear immediately. Within one week I had perfectly clear skin. Unfortunately, this product does tend to dry out the skin so I only use it during the week and give my skin a break on the weekends.   Best Over the Counter Acne Product Money Can Buy

  I've tried many over the counter and prescription acne products, and this one is definitely most effective for me. It is a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution which is actually more effective than the 10% solutions and is far less irritating. It's name is "On-the-Spot," but my dermatologist instructed me to use is all over as a preventative measure, as it is relatively gentle compared to some other treatments. Just use a moisturizer with sunscreen after applying it. As with ALL benzoyl peroxide treatments, there is a risk of bleaching to clothing. I've noticed that it really only bleaches lighter colors, such as pastels and some grays, but I've never had it bleach anything with bold colors such as black, navy, gold, etc. 5/5 0, January 19, 2009

It is especially helpful for cysts, that are not affected by topical medications such as salicylic acid, sulfur and benzoyl peroxide, and for whiteheads. The only con is that it requires batteries replacement about every 50 uses.   I thought there was something wrong with the batteries I bought and seriously thought about complaining to the store until I saw the other review. The more you use this unit, the more energy it seems to require. I do have about five trouble spots on my face, but moving the unit around my face twice a day can burn up 3 AAA batteries in less than two full uses. But when I first got the unit, the batteries lasted a few days, now I'm lucky if I get through a morning or evening session. It does seem to help my acne (or at least it keeps me from touching my face with my hands), but I have gone through two packs of 20 batteries in less than a month. 2/5 Debra D.   If you don't mind replacing the batteries EVERY day, this is a great item. Warning! You will burn through three AAA batteries per day with normal use. Research this item before you buy it. It's a better investment to buy the full size, rechargeable unit, because the cost of batteries to run the portable one would cover the difference in price between the portable unit and full size one. Also, note that this unit only runs for 1,000 uses. That's not much when they tell you to use it three times per day per zit.   This is a good introductory level of understanding your skin but doesn't go into the detail I was hoping for.It is quite generalised and also doesn't prescribe any fixes to problems nor does it give an indepth analysis of skin problems. I will end up selling it as I am studying anatomy and it doesn't meet my needs but for others just wanting more information than a magazine it would be very helpful and a most worthwhile purchase.   I am in love with Bliss products. I was so Excited when I learned they had a skin care line for acne. I have oily and acne prone skin, and I'm in my early 30's.
