Do your homework--it really works!
I have extensive experience in the medical field and have owned the Zeno Product for quite some time. After reading the reviews, I can no longer remain silent. This is a wonderful product that has NEVER claimed to be a substitute for good hygiene. It is a very effective product for when good hygiene fails (and, thanks to Mother Nature's ways, good hygiene will inevitably fail no matter what skin care regimen you have). I have never had a pimple that Zeno did not work on (including my hormonal and cystic acne). And, I did my "homework" before buying this product, as I would also encourage you to do. It was very clear to me from the beginning what types of acne Zeno may not work on (it is CLEARLY specified in the owners manual that is published on the Zeno Website). It actually works!!
Okay, I'll admit I was very very skeptical.... but it works.....It really does! I am 33 years old and have moderate acne that is very difficult to treat. For about the past year or so, I had been using 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide twice a day, every day. For the first few months, the BP treatments cleared my skin quite dramatically but then I more or less became "immune" to its effects and lately it hadn't been working quite as well, not to mention the fact that I was very weary of rubbing something like that into my skin twice a day for the rest of my life! Worked for me
Yes, it's basically a recharable battery and a heating element. Yes, it is expensive. [..].I really wanted to rip on this thing and call it junk, but I have to admit IT WORKED. I've tried it about 5 times and it's helped tremendously. On a couple of occasions, it actually did work overnight! Amazing.So I'll gladly put up with the price tag because ultimately my social life is worth it. Plus, it's cheaper than going to the dermotologist (who in my experience, really can't do a damn thing.) BEST STUFF OUT THERE!
My Sis-in-Law works for Pro Active, so I get samples/returns of that. My mom works for my doctor, and the dermatologist in their office had her use this. Then, she gave me some to try. Pro Active is okaaay, but this stuff works better. I was wondering what it was, and I looked at the active ingredient (benzoyl peroxide), and this actually has more than Pro Active. No wonder it works better! Sorry Pro Active, I know I can get you for free, but I'd rather spend a few bucks on something I KNOW is gonna work for me! 5/5 D. Duh.....
Recently had a breakout, 2 huge pimples on my face. I decided to aggravate them further by doing all of the dumb things a person my age should know better than to do (squeeze it, try to "pop" it, use the wrong facial products, etc.) Well, one of them evolved into this hideous crater on my face. Great. I finally decided to go and purchase some pimple cream. After dabbing this product on the other pimple, it disappeared THAT SAME DAY. I'm not playing around any more. I've learned my lesson. Oh, and I also purchased a salicylic acid product along with this, that also claimed that the user will see results within a day's use. Quick results but VERY drying
I've been using this on my (incredibly stubborn and mainly cystic-type) backne as well as on my face (only moderate) and it's working very well - much, much fewer blemishes coming up, and the ones I had there are healing within 2-3 days when they usually take several weeks to heal. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and I saw the results within the first few days. If you do use it on your body invest in a really good body butter though (I use The Body Shop's hemp body butter) because it is quite drying, and invest in a really good moisturizer for your face as well. I'm experiencing some drying and peeling on my shoulders, and flaking on my face, but my acne is clearing up much better than I expected. It's also much, MUCH cheaper than Proactiv.
