Hopeful, But Not for Everyone
I was very excited to try this product out, and after receiving it I have been using it as directed for over four months. I have to say that the science behind it was very compelling, and I did really want it to work, but in the end, like so many other products, it just didn't do it for me. I just happened to find this awesome item browsing the net for a product to help my daughter and sons face clear up. I must say that so far it seems to work great. My daughter and sons are in there Teens now and of course so is there over active ACNE. I have seen a very big difference in the time it takes for them to go away. I don't think mine is working correctly
Unfortunately I only got a bulb with 19 LED lights working. The last row doesn't work at all for some reason. There were only 6 blue lights of the 19 that were working. I sent an email to the seller to find out if that's correct, because all the bulbs are working on the advertised picture. We'll see what happens.And about the gooseneck desk lamp, according to the directions you have to keep it 1/2 an inch from your face. There's absolutely no way you can do that if you buy a gooseneck lamp. If you've had a long battle with acne(I've been dealing with it for 12 years) and have tried all the other products out there like proactive, clear skin, bare minerals and others; then give this a try. Do your homework--it really works!
I have extensive experience in the medical field and have owned the Zeno Product for quite some time. After reading the reviews, I can no longer remain silent. This is a wonderful product that has NEVER claimed to be a substitute for good hygiene. It is a very effective product for when good hygiene fails (and, thanks to Mother Nature's ways, good hygiene will inevitably fail no matter what skin care regimen you have). I have never had a pimple that Zeno did not work on (including my hormonal and cystic acne). And, I did my "homework" before buying this product, as I would also encourage you to do. It was very clear to me from the beginning what types of acne Zeno may not work on (it is CLEARLY specified in the owners manual that is published on the Zeno Website). Okay, I'll admit I was very very skeptical.... but it works.....It really does! I am 33 years old and have moderate acne that is very difficult to treat. For about the past year or so, I had been using 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide twice a day, every day. Yes, it's basically a recharable battery and a heating element. Yes, it is expensive. [..].I really wanted to rip on this thing and call it junk, but I have to admit IT WORKED. I've tried it about 5 times and it's helped tremendously. On a couple of occasions, it actually did work overnight! Amazing.So I'll gladly put up with the price tag because ultimately my social life is worth it. Plus, it's cheaper than going to the dermotologist (who in my experience, really can't do a damn thing.) I use this light to help with the pigment and acne marks on my face. This system is absolutely fantastic. It cleared up my skin in about 2 weeks, and no other treatment, other than Accutane, has been able to do this for me. This does take patience! I use the light on each section of my face (forehead, chin, each cheek), for 15 minutes each. So it does take a while. But it's very much worth it! The bad reviews on here are obviously by people who don't know what they're doing. Blue light kills bacteria; it's proven. It's the same light used in pools to kill bacteria, and it's also used by water treatment facilities. So it's a foolproof system; the only reason it wouldn't work is human error. Make sure you've washed off all types of sunscreen before you use it, otherwise it won't do anything. The first week or two might cause your acne to worsen, like with any other acne treatment, as your skin needs to adjust to it, and it brings the bacteria to the surface. This is normal.
