They'll restart tomorrow morning still with a one-shot lead. At 6, Jimenez gets his reward for that wonderful iron into the green, knocking in the birdie attempt and winning the hole.FOURSOMES5 UP Donald/Westwood v Stricker/Woods (8)3 UP McDowell/McIlroy v Zach Johnson/Mahan (7)FOURBALLS1 UP Harrington/Fisher v Furyk/Dustin Johnson (8)2 UP Hanson/Jimenez v Watson/Overton (6)1 UP The Molinaris v Cink/Kuchar (5)2 UP Poulter/Kaymer v Mickelson/Fowler (4)6.40pm: Francesco Molinari chips in for birdie from off the green on 5! What a wonderful shot. It doesn't win the hole, rather saves it, Cink knocking in a short effort. He must have been thinking that would level the match; a minor blow for the USA. And that's them shaking hands for the day; we're winding down here.FOURSOMES5 UP Donald/Westwood v Stricker/Woods (8)3 UP McDowell/McIlroy v Zach Johnson/Mahan (7)FOURBALLS1 UP Harrington/Fisher v Furyk/Dustin Johnson (7)1 UP Hanson/Jimenez v Watson/Overton (5)1 UP The Molinaris v Cink/Kuchar (5)2 UP Poulter/Kaymer v Mickelson/Fowler (4)6.35pm: Kaymer nails what to most people would be a very nervous eight-footer on 4 for a half. Jimenez has hit a pearler into 6, taking the aggressive line, toying with the water, but sending the ball 12 feet from the hole.FOURBALLS1 UP Harrington/Fisher v Furyk/Dustin Johnson (7)1 UP Hanson/Jimenez v Watson/Overton (5)1 UP The Molinaris v Cink/Kuchar (4)2 UP Poulter/Kaymer v Mickelson/Fowler (4)FOURSOMES5 UP Donald/Westwood v Stricker/Woods (8)3 UP McDowell/McIlroy v Zach Johnson/Mahan (7)6.30pm: Zach Johnson nearly slamdunks his bunker shot into the hole! It pitches just short of the hole, hits the flag, and stops a couple of inches from the hole. That's par. But can McIlroy convert? Shades of the 17th earlier on with Cink if he can't convert - though at least they can't lose the hole. But no worries: McIlroy rolls the tricky tiddler in, almost with contempt, and the Northern Irish duo go three up.FOURBALLS1 UP Harrington/Fisher v Furyk/Dustin Johnson (7)1 UP Hanson/Jimenez v Watson/Overton (4)1 UP The Molinaris v Cink/Kuchar (3)2 UP Poulter/Kaymer v Mickelson/Fowler (2)FOURSOMES5 UP Donald/Westwood v Stricker/Woods (7)3 UP McDowell/McIlroy v Zach Johnson/Mahan (7)6.25pm: McDowell gives his club a Tiger Twirl. Neither "club" nor "Tiger Twirl" are euphemisms for anything saucy; he's happy with his iron into 7, and no wonder, it's gone to eight feet. Delicious. Mahan is unlucky as his iron into the green takes a kick left before rolling into a bunker. Luke Donald nearly drains a 40-footer on 8, then Stricker nearly chips in for a precious win, but the hole's halved in 4.6.22pm: Bubba misses a dribbly tiddler on 5; the putt would have tied his match.6.20pm: Dustin Johnson knocks one in on 7 to win a hole for the States! That's not happened for a while. Something's got to turn for the US team, though. And it's not happening on 6, where Mahan pushes a poor putt right of the target, gifting The Macs a hole.FOURBALLS1 UP Harrington/Fisher v Furyk/Dustin Johnson (7)1 UP Hanson/Jimenez v Watson/Overton (4)1 UP The Molinaris v Cink/Kuchar (3)2 UP Poulter/Kaymer v Mickelson/Fowler (2)FOURSOMES5 UP Donald/Westwood v Stricker/Woods (7)2 UP McDowell/McIlroy v Zach Johnson/Mahan (6)6.17pm: Woods, after knocking his tee shot into the bunker, has just missed a 15-footer on the par-three 7th. He and Stricker are five down after seven holes! That's bloody awful. Tiger at least has the decency to look extremely embarrassed at what's going on here. Anyway, this score deserves a line of its own:5 UP Donald/Westwood v Stricker/Woods (7)6.15pm: To repeat: Europe are leading in all six matches. Y'know, while I can.6.12pm: The only slight downsides to all of this: first, sunset is half an hour away, and the way things are going, Europe won't want to stop; second, McDowell and McIlroy really should have won the 6th, but McDowell's birdie attempt was lame, and Zach Johnson rattled in a staunch 15-footer for par.6.10pm: IT'S TOO EARLY TO CROW, BUT YOU'VE GOT TO SAY IT WHILE YOU CAN: EUROPE ARE AHEAD IN ALL SIX GAMES!!! Stricker manages to conjure up no magic whatsoever with his wedge near the drink at 6. Woods then misses a tiddler and can't even force Westwood...
