Do your homework--it really works!
I have extensive experience in the medical field and have owned the Zeno Product for quite some time. After reading the reviews, I can no longer remain silent. It actually works!!
Okay, I'll admit I was very very skeptical.... but it works.....It really does! I am 33 years old and have moderate acne that is very difficult to treat. For about the past year or so, I had been using 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide twice a day, every day. For the first few months, the BP treatments cleared my skin quite dramatically but then I more or less became "immune" to its effects and lately it hadn't been working quite as well, not to mention the fact that I was very weary of rubbing something like that into my skin twice a day for the rest of my life! Yes, it's basically a recharable battery and a heating element. Yes, it is expensive. [..].I really wanted to rip on this thing and call it junk, but I have to admit IT WORKED. I've tried it about 5 times and it's helped tremendously. On a couple of occasions, it actually did work overnight! Amazing.So I'll gladly put up with the price tag because ultimately my social life is worth it. Oh My - it really DOES work!
I am absolutely a skeptic, and the only reason I even considered this was I came into work today with a small mountain of a zit on my chin (okay, it wasn't a mountain but it felt/looked like one) and was desperate. Informative and builds awareness on SI
My child's teacher let me borrow this book after some concerns about some sensory issues he was having. This book clearly lays out senses, their function and better yet examples of normal SI and sensory dysfunction. Although my child is not on the spectrum where he would be considered to have SID, the book provided me with an understanding as to why he seems to be sensory driven in everything he does. With the knowledge from this book, I can now "feed him a better sensory diet" as opposed to continue on with my frustrations. I am a behavioral Consultant for children with Autism. I am always looking for good resources to better understand the children that I work with and how I can provide the best help to meet their needs. I previously purchased the companion to this book, The Out of Sync Child Has Fun. I found that it was a great resource for activities and that it provided an overview of different sensory issues. Cysts finally gone!
Bought this product and was a bit skeptical because no other pills had worked (i think i became immune to the effects of antibiotics). I had terrible (hormonal)cystic acne that was painful and unsightly. I felt like at this point I had nothing to lose and decided to try the pills. I took 6 pills a day, 2 in the morning 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening. I ran out within 2 weeks so I ordered 2 more bottles and got a third one free. So far I have to say its working better than the amoxicillin or the doxycycline my derm prescribed to me. I also feel better about not taking anti-biotics on a daily basis. Very positive results so far
I don't know why this product works when topical creams didn't do anything but it works. I had acne, a lot of it. And it would not go away. I have pretty much loved everything that I've read of Sherman Alexie's. He is absolutely brilliant, and his latest work is no exception. I found out about this book from a recent NPR interview with Mr. Alexie and bought it the next day. In a few short days, I was finished with it.I'm not sure that it would have had such a strong impact on me if it hadn't been for the recent incident at VT. Such an event is difficult to make sense of, but reading this book about a person who justifies random murders in his head is eerily similar to what happened. Is killing ever all right? How many things do we justify to ourselves that may be in the scheme of things really unjustifiable?What I was really in need of after something so awful was hope. AMAZING.
I had terrible acne in high school and college. I tried a lot of prescription medication that dried out my face. My dermatologist finally recommended: washing my face with something very basic (like Neutrogena's plain facial soap), an oil-free moisturizer (Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture). Then, at least twice a day, use this Clearasil Acne Cream (10% benzoyl peroxide). I have almost-perfectly clear skin now, for an incredible price. Here's the secret though: You have to use this EVERY day, preferably twice a day (you can put makeup and moisturizers over it - use oil-free products), and use a lot of it. You need to build up your skin's resistance, so start with small amounts, and build up to using more. It will take weeks or even a month to show results, and you will need to use it continually, but it will keep your skin clear, clear, clear. Use a sunscreen, obviously. The only downside for me is that it easily bleaches hair and clothes, so wash hands after applying. I tried a lot of prescription medication that dried out my face. My dermatologist finally recommended: washing my face with something very basic (like Neutrogena's plain facial soap), an oil-free moisturizer (Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture). Then, at least twice a day, use this Clearasil Acne Cream (10% benzoyl peroxide). I have almost-perfectly clear skin now, for an incredible price. Here's the secret though: You have to use this EVERY day, preferably twice a day (you can put makeup and moisturizers over it - use oil-free products), and use a lot of it. You need to build up your skin's resistance, so start with small amounts, and build up to using more. It will take weeks or even a month to show results, and you will need to use it continually, but it will keep your skin clear, clear, clear. Use a sunscreen, obviously. Worked for me.

Doesn't work as advertised
I was disappointed because I paid full price in a pharmacy based on the claim that this "visibly reduces spot size and redness in 4 hours". It doesn't. I tried it a few times on my face and back and the product is the same as any other Benzoyl Peroxide cream. There are marginal results after a couple days use so I'm not sure if the cream worked or if the zit was going away anyway. But it does not do anything in 4 hours. Better than a band-aid.
There is no doubt about it. New Skin stinks. It smells up the room when you use it and hours later you can still smell it. But it works. I often have small cuts and abrasions and since I'm a swimmer I try to avoid going to the pool when I've got an open cut. New skin fills the gap and keeps your scrape protected until it heals over. good under makeup to cover acne
I forgot why I bought it,I didn't know it would be such a big help. The day before my birthday, I got a big zit in the middle of my right cheek..I manage to pop it out(don't do that), because I didn't want it to be big, red and swollen. I applied two coat on top of the zit, after it dry, I apply foundation and concealer on top of it, so that the makeup wouldn't have direct contact to the wound. It stayed put all day and all night long, even the makeup remover couldn't take it off..2 days later, the dead skin came off, my scar completely fade away!!! I was so amazed...couldn't believe my eyes..This is a must have for girls who have pimples and use makeup, this definitely help to keep makeup away from making the pimples getting worse.. 4/5 M. Does it sting when applied? Yes. It's an antiseptic, so this shouldn't really come as a surprise. The sting wears off very quickly, approximately one minute. As far as the smell, I think it smells good- in fact I usually take a whiff before putting the cap back on the bottle. I'm surprised to see that others do not care for the smell, but to each his own. It takes about 5 minutes to dry, not 10-15 as another reviewer wrote. This product works great for blisters- I've put it on fresh blisters and been back outside working without gloves immediately afterwards. It can tend to peel a little, but can easily be reapplied, right over what's left of the previous application. Once dried, it's wise to let it peel on it's own- it does become skin-like and force-peeling it can reopen the wound just like picking a scab.
