What is a quick and easy way to get rid of pimples?

I have like 4 or 5 in between my eyebrows, some around my nose, and some on my chin. I need an easy way to help get rid of them without an acne product. I have tried soap and water but it didnt really work. Maybe i did it wrong? Any suggestions?

Well if you are using bar soap, that's way too harsh for your face. A gentle face wash with an alpha hydroxy would be better. Gently scrub your face for 1 full minute before rinsing. To get rid of zits faster, try wetting a Q-tip with eye drops holding it to the zit for 30 seconds or so. The ingredient that makes your eye's less red will do the same to your skin. I heave heard that toothpaste (paste not gel) will help reduce the swelling. I like to use a clay face mask dabbed on the spot overnight. By morning the swelling is down and it's looking less obvious. The contraption I found that kills zits immediately is the Zeno. It's kind of expensive at $100 but I have fallen in love with it. If I zap the zit quick enough, it'll be gone by the next day. I saved my sister-in-laws skin in time for her wedding to my brother. She was so thankful to not have the giant zit brewing on her forehead for her big day. Myself, I use the Zeno at first sign, then put on a dab of clay face mask over night. If it's still looking obvious in the morning, I'll use the eyedropeye drops

dampen a towel with hot water , put it over ur face to open ur pores.. put some lemon juice on it....with a cotton ball or something clean... u can try toothpaste it tends to dry the zit..peroxide water to clean the skin... every skin is diffrent, no guarantees.. what worked for me might or might not work for u.. nothing to loose if u try exept those nasty zits...pesky buggers

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at. I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life. I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy. Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. How do I get rid of spots on my forehead. And does Benzoyl Peroxide remove blackheads in the ear?

I have many spots on my forehead and chin, but without heads so like a load of red lumps (most likely old spots) Is there anyway to get rid of them. I also have blackheads in my ear and have been told benzoyl peroxide will remove them, does it? And how do I use it and what should I buy for it?

Its gonna sound gross... but.... oatmeal. yep, oatmeal. Make 1/4 cup instant oatmeal and allow to cool. Then add 1 egg and a teaspoon of olive oil. Spread it all over you face and let sit for a half hour. It gets rid of the redness of spots. If you want to get rid of zits? well, obviously they don't go away instantly, but use a washcloth and lightly "scrub " you face with our acne cleaning stuff... What's agood way to get rid of pimples and what happens if one pops? There was one on my nose that i kept scartching which started to bleed and then a scab grew over it which i peeled off :\.

Don't scratch at your zits, it will cause them to scar. If you have some you really want to get rid of, get a needle and sterilize it and the pimple area, then poke the zit and extract the puss gently with your fingers. Popping the zit with just your fingers can push the bacteria deeper and sideways as well. Picking zits causes scarring. Dont Waste Your $ On An RX!!
This product is great and is highly effective. I have worked in pharmacy for 3 years and have seen people spend a lot of money on prescription acne treatments that basically do the same thing but only cost more, especially if you dont have insurance. This strength of Benzoyl Peroxide used to be RX only, but now is over the counter. It is rather strong and I do suggest that you follow the instructions on the package, especially if you have sensitive skin, to "ease into it", even if you are tempted to put it on 2-3 times a day at the very beginning. It may cause your skin to become very dry and flaky, somewhat ruining the benefits. Overtime though, many people's skin gets used to it and then you can increase the application as neeed. As other people have mentioned this product does say that it is a gel, but in fact is a white cream and does leave some residue on the skin. The best zit cream ever
If you need to get rid of a zit fast, then this is the best out there, in my experience. I put this on any zit (or blackhead trying to become a zit) that I spy before bed, and it knocks that sucker out. It does make my skin peel a tad, and it will probably do the same to you, so be careful not to overuse. Also, make sure you use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer as well if your skin is really sensitive. EDIT: Something else that's great: This product caused old acne scars on my chin to fade very quickly. Acne scars are the worst because even if the zit goes away it looks like you still have it! So this product is great for that as well. SECOND EDIT: I wrote this review several years ago. I'm now 29 and this product doesn't work the same for me as it used to. The Intensity Will Not Increase, It Stays Barely On
Like Maria, that is happening to me too. I liked the device alot, and it was working fine. I am a medical esthetician so I know how to properly use the device. Now all of a sudden once you turn it on, it stays at the lowest possible setting even if you turn the knob to increase intensity, I have to turn the whole device in awkward postions to try and increase the intensity, but it doesn't last, and goes back to barely being on, I'm afraid it will just stop working all together. 2/5 A. Do your homework--it really works!
I have extensive experience in the medical field and have owned the Zeno Product for quite some time. After reading the reviews, I can no longer remain silent. This is a wonderful product that has NEVER claimed to be a substitute for good hygiene. Okay, I'll admit I was very very skeptical.... but it works.....It really does! I am 33 years old and have moderate acne that is very difficult to treat. Almost too effective.
I tried this the other day, to get rid of the beginnings of a few unsightly zits. It got rid of the impending zits, but it also took care of the first couple of layers of skin. I used it twice, two days ago, and my skin is still peeling and dry. Clear, but peeling. Not quite the look I was going for, even if it is close to Halloween. Perhaps if your skin isn't dry and/or sensitive, this product will work great for you. It's a fairly harsh scrub, more so than some of the microdermabrasion scrubs I've used, and has a strong chemical/grapefruit smell that my husband wrinkled his nose at. My skin tends towards being sensitive and somewhat dry, but there aren't any warnings on the package, so I went ahead and scrubbed. Awesome for Oily Skin
I actually found this product by stalking a perfect-skinned lady through the skin care aisle to see what she bought. So I bought it myself and it has been amazing! I've always been one to have tiny baby pimples all over my forehead and cheeks, and then those big underground ones on my chin and temples. I also have always had incredibly oily skin. This wash gets rid of the oil and tightens up my skin. After 2 weeks of use (twice daily) all the forhead pimples are gone and the underground chin pimples have come to the surface and relieved themselves and are clearing up. I know that sounds gross, but it's a dream come true for me. No new cyst type pimples have taken their place. My skin looks the clearest it has since as far back as I can remember. To be fair, I've been using an oil free "nighttime" mosturizer after each wash to replenish some moisture, so that may make a difference. Oh, and I don't find the smell to be overly strong either. Best Wash for Oily Skin!
For years, I have been trying to find a product that clears my oily skin. I had using a topical cream prescribed by my doctor just to have clear skin. I ran out of the cream and decided to try over-the-counter treatments again. I found this product and LOVED it! It is the best product I have used for my oily skin. Its a miricle.....
Thank you God for this. I am a african american woman who tends to get really severe boils under and around my large breasts and arms for the last 5 years. I go to the hospital like 5 times a year because they become so big. I just had to take a week off of work because I couldnt stand up straight and it would not come to a head so I had to go to the emergency room because I had a fever too. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY DOCTORS, DERMOTOLOGISTS, AND SPECIALISTS OVER THE YEARS and NONE have ever prescribed this product to me. I was presribed hibeclens which I use in the shower and countless antibiotics but they never help. The boils continue to reoccur. She told me to pick up some prid and that I will not regret it. I went to Walmart and picked one up for less than $5. Prid Drawing Salve
I absolutely love this stuff. It is good for many different minor skin irritations such as cuts, scrapes, boils, blisters, hang nails, irritated cuticles, acne etc. I purchased this to quickly heal up acne and it really did the trick. It won't work to prevent acne or stop it from happening. It will bring the pimple to a head much faster and allow the wound to heal after it has been popped with minimal to no scarring. Used in our family since my childhood
The Prid Salve has always been in our medicine cabinet as long as I can remember. I am now 70 years old. I can still remember my Father saying; all you need is some Prid Salve and some of the old white zink tape. You could heal any wound. When my brother and I was roughhousing in the yard I split open his upper lip. Dad washed out the wound, applied some Prid Salve and some of the white zink tape. It healed up and never left a scar. We would use it to draw out a sliver in our hand. Being on the farm one always had cuts, splinters and who knows what.
