Interesting - but actually a collection of previous works

Another fun Zits
This Zits was another great addition to your Zits collection. The cover suggested more of a Halloween -style ZIts, but in fact, this was just another book with teenagers and their parents and how different generations do not really understand each others so well.The teenagers feel as if their parents are from stone age because they don't use the technology available so well, and the parents have no idea what the teenagers are doing with all their new gadgets, social networks, etc...Fun to read! Life With a Modern Teenage Son
ZOMBIE PARENTS is the 15th "Zits" Sketchbook. "Zits" is a comic strip that features the Duncan clan of three: Walter the Dad, Connie the Mom, and Jeremy the teenage son. The strips featured here in ZOMBIE PARENTS ran from December 28, 2009-September 5, 2010. This collection is a basic collection of "Zits" strips; there aren't any ongoing storylines in the collection and it's all pretty much the usual stuff. Jeremy makes fun of his parents for being old fashioned, his parents make comments about how much he eats, Jeremy uses a lot of money from Walt to pay for the gas in his van, Jeremy and Sara make out, etc. The only themed strips in this collection are the six "6 Reasons Why Zombies Would Make Cool Parents" and the six "6 More Reasons Zombies Would Make Cool Parents." Personally, I enjoy reading "Zits" each day, but unlike other comic strips I read, "Zits" is pretty much a daily gag strip. Don't buy the Kindle version
I bought the Kindle version for my iPad. What a waste of money. By now publishers ought to know better than to publish a strip reprint with images of the strips that are too low resolution to even be readable. The images are barely large enough to read at the default size on my iPad, and they are so low res that zooming in just makes them less readable. Great new treasure!
This is a great new Zits collection! I really like the way the authors explain the ideas behind the strips and how they created the Zits characters. It sure has changed a lot since the first strips. The characters are more smooth and detailed, the first ones were more rough looking. Treasury without Sketchbooks?
Apparently they skipped the sketchbooks this time and went right to a treasury. This LOOKS like newer material. About time. Been waiting a long time for new stuff about the Zits gang. usually the Treasurys say "contains strips from X and Y". This one does not.I actually prefer it this way so I get the colors without having to wait for 2 sketchbooks to be printed. This is a fun Treasury - if you don't have the previous volumes. Except for some extra non-essential art work, there are no new panels. Great Comic Strip
Humongous Zits is a compilation of the first two books of this comic strip. It starts out a little slow while the main characters are being introduced, but it soon catches its stride.Jeremy Duncan is a typical teenager just trying to live his life. His parents are on his back, he's got homework to avoid, his garage band isn't getting recording contracts, and he's awkward around the girl of his dreams. Needless to say, his life is anything but boring.The strip is written from Jeremy's point of view, which leads to some great sight gags as we see a situation through his eyes. Jeremy and dad - a review
This was very similar to Jeremy and Mom, so if you purchased that one, then you will like this one, too. This is just a collection of strips including how Jeremy and Dad -relationship and characters have developed and how the writers have got the ideas for the characters, their clothing, the typical topics and problems with teenager and his father.It is still a hilarious collection to read even if I had read the same ones before. The notes made by the authors also reveal the ideas behind the cartoons and characters and it is interesting to see how much the characters relate to the real world and issues.Part of me was confused when the authors describe that the parents background is based on 1960s (like it is in the cartoon) with all the old fashioned clothes and memories of roadtrips in 1960s... but then Jeremy is teenager now with ipods... So the age difference of a parent who had lived their young adult life in 1960s and todays's teenagers, is huge! The "Zits" Book for Non-Fans Or a Gift for Dads
There have been and continue to be several comic strips that focus on the relationship between teenagers and their families. There have also been several comic strips that featured a teenager as one of several characters in the strip. However, Jerry Scott & Jim Borgman's "Zits" is the only current comic strip I know of that focuses on a teenage boy and the relationship between he and his parents. Though it has been marketed as a treasury, JEREMY & DAD isn't really a treasury. It's more of a themed collection featuring strips from the past few years revolving around Jeremy and his dad, Walt. Fans of the strip probably already own most of these strips in collection books. This is a book for people that aren't already familiar with "Zits". The Humorous Trials of Jeremy Continue
Zits is fast becoming a modern classic comic strip, and with good reason. It is consistently funny. The authors, Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman, use every humor tool available to them to get their point across. And, no matter whether it's exaggeration, sarcasm, understatement, or a hilarious sight gag, this book is sure to entertain.The collection starts with the "director's cut" of "Good Night Dude." The original strip appears later in the collection, but here we get a full spoof of the classic picture book.From there, we launch into the daily strip. This book contains strips from sketchbooks #5 and 6, "Unzipped" and "Busted." As an added bonus, the Sunday comics are in color. We get about a year and a half of strips all in one place. Not only do we get the latest on Jeremy and Sara's rocky relationship, but we get to see Jeremy and Hector start their own summer business for no fun and little profit. One of the better Zits collections
There are multiple problems with the Zits series, mainly pertaining to Jeremy's mother (I mentioned this in my review of Random Zits) but this edition gets it pretty well. However, both Big Honkin' Zits and Random Zits were better in terms of plot. Regardless, there are some funny strips here.It has always been blatantly obvious that the situations in the strip were inspired by real teenagers somewhere, and here it doesn't get any better. Sadly, this treasury probably has the highest number of undoubtedly real situations. Despite that, there is not a total absence of plot. Another reviewer said that the buddies come into their own more this time. This is very true- Hector has some pretty awesome comebacks here (yes, even better than his ones during the Amber incident in the last book) and Pierce is introduced. Pierce would be better developed later, but I like to think of this book as the Last Stand of Tim, the one where quiet Tim Olsen left the scene in favor of... 4/5 0, March 5, 2006

Best Comic in the Funny Papers!
This is the fourth treasury in the wonderful life of the Zits comic strip. It includes comics from Sketchbook's 7 & 8, "Road Trip" and "Teenage Tales", respectively. Hopefully, you've learned that treasuries are the most cost-efficient way to get every comic for the best value. Random Zits continues the Zits tradition of following 15-year-old Jeremy along his journies of girls, friends, music, and parental rebellion. It is a wonderful coming-of-age strip that has taken the place of "favorite comic book" for many Calvin & Hobbes fans looking for a new #1. This collection continues to put Jeremy in new situations, with a lot of strip scenarios running for multiple pages. This helps keep the strip new and interesting. Relationships around him change, and his different interests keep him from being a one-bit character. Zits is the funniest strip in the funny papers today, and this treasury is a great example of this. What is it like to be a fifteen-year-old boy? Im a fourteen year old boy. I Have almost all the zits books and love every word. They relate perfectly to a son or a parent. They capture life today perfectly. Rip-off
I like Zit's, but it's scandalous that this and other Andrews McMeel books don't specify overlapping content. Sunday strips are colored. That aside, Crack of Noon contains nothing other than the contents of Thrashed and Pimp My Lunch. 3.5 Stars: A Bit of a Letdown
I have all the Zits' treasuries, and while I enjoyed this latest one, have to admit that it was the least entertaining of the bunch. Some of the jokes are retreads of previously done jokes from other books, and unlike previous collections there weren't any strips that segued together to form a storyline. I was also disappointed to see so many one panel strips, like Family Circus.Entertaining, but not as good as previous compilations. 3/5 N. Totally relevant to everyone
If you're a parent, this book is for you. This book is going to help you find out what your teenager is thinking, and how they think.If you're a teenager, this jokes in the strips strike so close to home it's impossible not to laugh. For example, having high school fantasy about girls, or guys, or teachers!I think every teenager and parents can relate to Zits. Laughter Abounds
I've read all the anthologies, and this one ranks as one of the top-two for the series. Huge fun
Scott and Borgman bring us another brilliant collection of Zits. If you're not already a fan: it centers on Jeremy, a perfectly normal, irrational, insightful, clueless, hormone-addled, fifteen year old. He navigates the incomprehensible world of parents, girls, and the world in general, with the cheery self-centeredness you might expect.Somehow, Scott and Borgman take this improbable universal and bring it to life, as only the best of comic writers can. They use surreal shifts of mindscape to illustrate the teenager's baffled and baffling view of the world, but with a foundation of empathy for Jeremy that keeps the tone affectionate.
